Good wifi, great AC and everything works in Room 24. The only problem is the fridge is not cold at all and leaking water. The cleaning staff doesn’t refill the instant coffee or clean the used coffee cups. Overall good budget choice. Very quiet too.

If you were expecting an elevator, it’s unreliable & is only recommended for luggage. So book a room on the first floor (you still have to walk up I story). Air conditioner didn’t work but I had the natural coolness from the outside. If not for these 2 things, I’d give it 4 stars. Wonderful helpful staff, nicely decorated, reliable internet. Convenient and great price. Safe in room.

Small small rooftop terrace, but nice. Interesting path to reach it. Excellent locale for easy walking to ferry and San Toma’ piazza with food and shopping and church. Zero waterfront as advertised, and no water view. Old medieval building. Comfortable bed. Echoing alley beneath rooms makes sleeping before 1 am unlikely. Lovely staff. Delicious continental breakfast buffet.

The hotel is very quiet and clean and staff are friendly. It is just a bit difficult to find the location. It is difficult to take big luggages into the room since stairs are tiny and theres no lift.

Excellent quiet little guest house hotel with friendly, accommodating staff and comfortable rooms. Great location in San Polo with all the classic sights within 30 minutes walking distance. Rooftop terrace, air conditioning, good shower and mini fridge with complimentary water. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Really liked the area. You can walk everywhere within about 15 - 20 min. The room was small for 3 adults. It could use a few more hooks on the walls in the bathroom or a shelf. Beware the shower is very small for a large person. The pillows and bed were very hard. You have to go up a couple flights of stairs to get to the check in. The girls were very nice. I would stay there again but with only 2 adults. Overall loved the hotel and area. Many restaurants and shops around.

First I want to say the front desk/ reception girls and workers were super nice and helpful and they speak English so that was perfect! But the hotel is very strange for an American everything is so small the roof in the room and bathroom is so short if you’re too tall you might hit your head. The shower is extremely tight and water didn’t go down the drain fast enough so you stand in a puddle while you’re there making it very uncomfortable when you shower. When you’re washing your hands the back of your legs is still touching the toilet behind you there’s no space to move around. No elevator for people just for luggage. Maybe if you’re a very tiny person you wouldn’t mind this place but if you’re an average size or large person, handicap or pregnant this is not the hotel for you. Also breakfast starts at 8:00 am which seemed very late compared to other hotels who start serving breakfast at 6:00 am at least in other countries, not really sure about Italy in general.

STOP - read through the reviews and look at the photographs very carefully. Our room was so small we had to go outside to change our minds - I know a tired old joke, but this is a tired old establishment. I would challenge the hotel to put a photo of this room on their site - a bit of honesty goes a long way. The room was so small and depressing that we chose to spend as little time as possible anywhere near it. Black mould on the wall, coat hangers covered in dust, a shower that fell off the wall repeatedly - bright spots - the wifi worked and the room was serviced each day. Hotels.com have been very helpful and responsive but they are doing their customers a diservice having a low quality hotel such as this. Leaving early and returning late we never saw any staff and on checking out handed our keys to what we thought was one of the housekeeping staff. To be avoided - there are many choices in Venice and you would be better served shopping around and spending a little more if necessary. This almost ruined our Venice stay. Long time Hotels.com user.

Room was very big and spacious but not the cleanest. Carpet didn't look vacuumed, toilet hadn't been cleaned, and overall not the cleanest place. Breakfast was very basic but still nice that included. Room had a dusty smell to it and the breakfast room did not smell the best. Overall alright experience for one night, very big room and does the job. In walkable distance to things and some restaurants nearby.

Ca’ San Polo was the prefect location for our visit to Venice. Room was clean and exactly what was needed for two nights, we just used the room to recover after a walking everywhere. Location was great and breakfast was simple but enough variety for all. Pastries, bread, cold cuts/cheese and beverages. Would recommend to any one visiting

Un hôtel vieillissant avec des moquettes qui mériteraient un bon nettoyage. L'isolation des chambres est à revoir: on entend toutes les personnes passant dans la rue et tout ce qu'il se passe dans les autres chambres... De plus, la musique d'ambiance dans les couloirs dès 8h du matin, c'est moyen 😅 Mais l'hôtel est très bien situé avec un personnel très agréable.

Adore this hotel and the location. The AC was struggling during the heat wave. But would absolutely stay here again. Very sweet receptionist. She was able to set up our airport boat taxi back to the airport. The location is just perfect for everything.

Personne pour répondre à la sonnette. Obligé de téléphoner pour ouvrir la porte et deviner que l'on devait trouver une enveloppe avec la clé de la chambre à l'étage. La responsable aurait pu nous prévenir avant... Chambre correcte...mais les prises de courant sont à revérifier pour la sécurité. Oubli de papier toilette...ce n'est pas bien grave mais ça fait négligé 🙁 Heureusement la personne au petit déjeuner était sympathique.

My flight was due to land at 21:00, but was delayed so I reached the hotel out of hours. I had been provided with details to check in myself but none of them worked. I was left outside, where I could see a key box but none of the emergency numbers were answered. at 02:00 I had to walk Venice looking for an alternative hotel, which I found through luck. I paid more for my first night and though the hotel agreed to refund my first night, I am out of pocket. Once checked in the next day, the hotel was great, very easy and convenient and staff were great. It was just the really poor check in that was a dissapointment. If you are checking in in standard hours, this is a good option. I would need a lot of reassurance regarding checking in after 10pm.

This property was conveniently located, not far from the Grande canal, and the S. Toma vaporetto stop. Also close by we found 2 ‘groceries’, gelato & a couple restaurants (would also recommend (Trattoria S.Toma con giardino). The establishment is quaint & staff was helpful. Aside from the overwhelming scent of the cleaning product that took some time to dissipate, we don’t really have any complaints. It’s dated, but you are in Venice, so would say it’s a good option for the value.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans le quartier de San Polo à moins de dix minutes à pieds du Rialto et à cinq minutes de l'arrêt de vaporetto San Silvestro. C'est un petit hôtel cosy et dont l'équipe est adorable. Les chambres sont toutes simples mais confortables et le petit déjeuner est très bon. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Très bien situé à 10mn à pieds du pont du Rialto et 15mn de la place St Marc. Rue passante et bruyante. Chambre très grande, sombre et salle de bain qui n’est pas récente. Petit déjeuner bien. C’est un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, gut ausgestattet, Bad auch, und abgesehen von ein paar komischen Geräuschen nachts ruhig, die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war so là là (begrenzter Buttervorrat, Nachschub tiefgefroren, minderwertige Brötchenqualität, keine Rohkost oder Eierspeise). Was überhaupt nicht ging war, wie durften unser Gepäck nach dem Auschecken noch vor Ort lassen, als ich beim Abholen des Gepäcks dringend auf die Toilette musste, durfte ich im Hotel nicht gehen (nur fürs Personal sagte man mir) und hat mir gesagt, ich solle in ein Café gehen. Die Asiatin der Rezeption beim Empfang war sehr nett, die andere Rezeptionistin bei der Abreise hat leider den Notfall nicht erkannt.

Estadia agradável! Quarto confortável, com guarda roupa. Colchão bom, chuveiro bom, quarto espaçoso. O frigobar não funcionou e imediatamente foi oferecida a troca de quarto. O café da manhã é farto e variado. Ótimo atendimento dos funcionários. Se estiver com muita bagagem, pode ser cansativo chegar ao local mais próximo de circulação de carro ou ônibus.

Started off hard to get into with the vikey system not working. Not really a great start. Rooms are very tight and the wash facilities need updating. The breakfast could do with further options and an operating reception area would help.
