Hallways and elevator are literally set to 80 degrees. Pool was closed due to maintenance. The lamp in between the beds was broken with exposed wires hanging out. The mini fridge appeared as if someone had thrown it off of a truck on the interstate and then placed into the room.

Carpets are stained throughout. People smoking weed outside the pool with the doors open. Wouldn’t normally be a problem, but I have a two month old. There were ants everywhere. We didn’t end up even staying the night.

The staff at the front desk was very good but there were issues with the room. First the air conditioner had to be reset multiple times which was an inconvience. The bathroom was quite small - unable to have more than one in the bathroom at the time and had to move around to close door to use the facilities. Also, the loudness and uncontrollable behavior of other guests in the hallway caused a very long and uncomfortable night with little sleep.

Ruby at the front desk started off our stay with an amazing, friendly and super helpful check-in! She is a star. The hotel is nice and very spacious- the rooms are well-kept. Showing their age a little.

eThe room was okay little outdated and there were not enough electrical outlets the way they had everything plugged in, we knew one spark and the place was going to go up in flames. Also my husband left a pair of tennis shoes ( not the hotel fault) called the hotel and they transferred me to the housekeeping dept. left msg and ad of yet have not heard back from anyone!!

Couldn't get water from faucet of bathtub for shower. Finally got enough for minimum flow shower. I stayed in room 107 very very noisy with elevator noise. One desk clerk told me no rooms I got on Expedia and they had rooms and I booked it and stayed one night. Not a good experience!

Our stay was perfect. The hotel is close to main routes into Belleville, IL and St Louis, Mo. it was clean, quiet and close to food and gas. The perfect stop-over for us. We will use this hotel again when we visit friends and family in the area!

Overall, the property is in excellent condition and we have stayed there many times over the past 15 years. Some of the rooms have items that need an upgrade (badly scratched furniture, refrigerators, etc). The hallways could have been cleaner (linen removal, trash pickup), although the staff did their best to address this. Overall, though, this hotel’s location, layout, amenities, and Porter’s Restaurant make it an excellent choice for the Metro East area.

I looked at the highway access and my pass thru agenda thinking that it would be a good fit. A conference center first floor room was noisy, elevator and doors were loud. I didn’t have a great nights sleep. I won’t pick this location again as a overnight place.

The staff were excellent and welcoming from the check in and in lounge. My only critique would be that the property is dated and kind of run down. The rooms were clean but dated and a bit tattered: worn down trim, scratches, old tile and vanities, etc. the hallways that are carpeted are worn and stained. For the price point we paid I would hope for a more upscale appearance

-Staff at front desk was visiting with another person that was checking in. Once that person left and I approached the counter, she seemed irritated that I came in. Check in experience did not improve. -Lobby area seemed nice and appeared clean. However, hallways, elevator, and room were a different story. Carpets were older, stained, and had a slight odor. Room needed some updating as well. Bedding was clean.

Porters restaurant was outstanding. Great stay- Clean hotel, even with the broken air unit in our room. Comfortable beds, staff were nice. Outdoor sitting area with the fire pit was a favorite.
