Elevators were broken for three days. I was on the third floor. It would have been good to know in order to cancel You had to carry your luggage three flights ( for me ) and only one person helping check in a line of people

This property is under construction. Other than that, it is fine hard to get parking at night after 8 o’clock, but that is typical beds are somewhat comfortable. Rooms are clean.

Hotel was/is currently under renovation. There was a lot of extra noise, pool wasn't open and parking lot congestion. Hotel staff was friendly and always available to help. Once the construction is finialized, this will be a great place to stay.

Hotel was under construction so there was a fair amount of noise. Also hall noise was fairly loud in the room. The side door near the hotel laundry was supposed to be locked and need a room key to get in but it was unlocked 24 hours per day. The room was good and clean.

Staff was very helpful. Hotel was conveniently located and was, generally, very peaceful. There were power issues our final morning that led to multiple instances of power going out and a fire alarm sounding each time it went on, though I don't think the hotel could reasonably be blamed for that. The gym is currently out of commission, but the pool was nice. Our room had a phone but there was no phone jack so it didn't work at all. We went to the front desk directly to get the additional towels we needed. The shower handle was also a little tough to manage, but all in all it was a pleasant stay.

I will say the staff was friendly and helpful. The first room we got there were stains on the sheets. They moved us to another room. They gave us complimentary breakfast for the following day. What we didn’t notice til the next morning was the terribly dirty bathroom floor and unvacuumed carpet. We were staying in the old section while the other section was being renovated.

The pictures on the website make the hotel look a lot more nice than it was. The room was dated and the pillows were small. I did not bother taking my socks off. The bathroom had mold.

First, reception checked me into an already occupied room which they fixed. The room and overall facility was really humid and they needs a central AC system. None of the towels I used air dried. The little wall units just don’t work well even when turned down low so it smelled musty. When I stay at Courtyard by Marriott, I expect a higher tier of service and quality than a discount motel.

The layout was terrible. Elevator was in one corner of the facility (not near the entrance) and our room was in the opposite corner. Ice machine same area as elevator and didn’t work. Had to find another machine. AC didn’t work well at all.

We wouldn’t know. They did not have a room for us and were sold out when we arrived to check in after midnight. I had called the hotel directly earlier in the day to comfirm our reservation and to let them know we would arrive late around 12am. They stayed at that time that we were all set and she noted it in their system. The desk clerk on arrival was very nice and tried to call other hotels but all were sold out. She said she had spoken to her manager about it and he didn’t know what to do other than find us a room somewhere. She showed me were it was noted on their computer late arrival. . As you can imagine, this caused us a great deal of stress and aggravation after driving from Memphis. We were exhausted and just wanted our room. The clerk finally found a Marriott with a cancellation and we had to drive back about 20 min. Our son had to sleep on the floor because they only had a king bed! We had booked a 2queen room. This is absolutely unacceptable for Marriott- we have been Marriott Bonvoy members for many years. We expect compensation from Marriott for our inconvenience!

The woman at the front desk told me no rooms were ready yet for check in (it was 3:00 standard check in time) she told me she’d let me know when housekeeping had rooms available. I sat down to wait. 2 minutes later another front desk worker joined her and a woman came to check in and she checked her in. I was confused. Another couple followed immediately after same (other worker) checked them in.. so I got in line to see that worker and sure enough. She checked me in. Very unprofessional of the other worker who clearly just didn’t feel like checking people in.

After checking in I found there was no toilet paper in the room and the tp roller was laying on the sink counter. Had to take the roller to the front desk to get paper. Had a two night stay and our room was not serviced. Had to empty the trash bag and place it in the hall and go to the front desk to request more towels. Upon checkout I spoke with the manager who told me she would email me regarding compensation. Never heard from her.

It is an older property. Clean and staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Could not have been nicer. This is a good property, just needs renovating and I think that they may be doing that. Great location, I felt safe (traveling alone female). Near all the restaurants and convenient to Highways. There were noise issues (kids from a soccer tournament) that were addressed by front desk and taken care of. I would stay there again. Again - the staff went over and beyond!

Only one elevator and it was not convenient to our room and it was very very slow. The first room they put us in was already in use by another guest. Then they only gave us one key for two people for the next room.

The room was far from the lobby and the parking area. The room temperature was unable to be adjusted. The bed linens were small for a king size bed. The room was clean. TV remote batteries were weak. However , a new remote was requested and delivered to the room the next morning. This property is conveniently located by the Gallaria and restaurants . All employees were very courteous and helpful.

This was a quick overnight trip. The Courtyard was convenient to restaurants and the venue we were visiting. The room was clean and everyone was very friendly. The overall building was a little older but the lobby area was updated.

We were on a road trip around the Deep South. Needed to stop one night in Birmingham, AL. Chose this hotel because of location and the fact it was walking distance to a restaurant. What a great choice we made! The hotel was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant across the street was fab too!

I should have known better than to book with Courtyard when traveling. They do not have certain things in the room that I need, like a microwave. I bring my own food to save money and Courtyards are not good with refrigerators, freezers, or microwaves. The freezer is the smallest I have ever seen and it barely fit my ice packs. There was food to buy in the lobby, with a microwave that I had to share with all the other guests who needed it. There is a very convenient fitness center and nice pool. The rooms are big, nice high ceilings and the AC worked great. I got a good night's sleep and the pillows and bed comfortable. Skimpy on towels, but I did not bother to ask for more. I had to switch rooms due to a bad smell. The next room smelled a bit better, but not sure what is going on with that. It smelled like body odor and I had to spray perfume around. Front desk girl was very sweet until I had to change rooms. People must not be very nice to her. You have to pay for breakfast and their bistro seems to be understaffed, so do not be in a hurry to eat or leave. It is expensive, but enough to eat and very tasty. I only ate breakfast. The area around the property had some litter, but overall clean. The lobby is nice, clean and comfortable.

It was ok for the price. Seemed like they may be in the middle of a renovation. All of the elevators were down, which was super inconvenient, especially getting out luggage up to the 3rd floor. Also, it seemed like there was a restaurant and read as if their were deli sandwiches in their "market." The restaurant was only open for breakfast. The "market" had a very small selection, much smaller than most and there were no sandwiches, only snack foods. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no hand soap for the bathroom sink. We requested some but were told they had run out. We bought 2 croissants for breakfast at the hotel bistro and they were stale snd hard. The hotel coffee was cold and stale also. The entrance closest to our room wasn’t working so we couldn’t get in that way.

This property is under construction, which is not advertised. There is no continental breakfast. I was excited about the Starbucks, but they made all of our drinks wrong. The elevators are very far from the lobby, which is inconvenient. The side doors do not lock at night. Our phone didn’t work in our room and our bathroom door wouldn’t close. I told the staff and they didn’t seem to care because nothing was done about either. Our room wasn’t cleaned and there were no garbage bags in the trash, so we had stuff piled up our amour room. It was absolutely not worth the price. Stay somewhere else.
