Great place to stay. Right on the beach. Lots of great restaurants close by. Wonderful breakfast. Pool was closed for repairs but it’s done now and is impressive. Enjoy!

We stayed two nights for a girls trip and had the BEST time. The property is CLEAN, the employees were friendly, and the location is perfect. The pool bar was a nice perk too!

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They were really nice. Had to be moved to a different room because toilet in room above ours was leaking and the tv didn’t work. Good view when moved to the second room. Breakfast was okay- would have liked a better variety of options with breakfast meats.

The staff was excellent. Always went out of their way to ask if I needed anything and to see if they could help me. My room was spotless. Everything looked great and seemed brand new even though the hotel has probably been there for 20 years. I will stay there again.

The 2 things that shined out about this property....but only 2. The staff who were friendly and helpful and the access to the beach. Now where do i begin. First off at 130 in the morning my wife found 2 german roaches in the bathroom. We called desk to ask for bug spray which the young man promptly brought to the room. He didnt change rooms because it was late and we thought it was a random thing. He said if we wanted they could do it in the morning. I saw the maintenance man and told him about the roaches and asked if he could spray it well while we were out for the day. Well i don to ow whether it was sprayed or not. When we came back to our room in the evening, they didnt even clean our room. Now we fully wanted and expected our room to be cleaned. So once again called front desk and they could only provide fresh towels at that time. Day 3 of our trip and they came into the room at 830 to clean and we weren't even up yet. Then they called about 10 and asked if we still wanted our room clean and of course we did. Saw another baby roach in the bathroom. I asked for a little comp to make my wife feel better about her freaking out on the roaches. I wanted a cabana they have at the pool, but they would not do that. They offered 2 chairs and an umbrella at the beach. We took that and headed to the beach. We came back and started packing to leave. I got up this morning and saw another roach crawling on the bed i just got out of. Gross Worst Holiday Inn experience ever!!!!

Room was by the elevator so it was a nosy area . Entering the hotel there’s an immediate smell which continues in the room. Poor water pressure and the faucet for the tub was hanging on for its life so you have to be very careful when turning on the shower head. Multiple rolly Polly’s in the bathroom .

The tiled floor in the room was very sticky. The beds were comfortable. The walls in the room are very thin. The room next to us had the tv on loud throughout the whole night. My wife and got very little sleep. The morning breakfast was very good.

This property is not new. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff upgraded us to a sea side room, which was a wonderful location. The bath fan was very loud and toilet was a low old style. Hallway ceiling tiles stained and out of place, handyman's work!

Overall good experience. Clean rooms and common areas. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located on the beach side and super convenient to Wal-Mart, Publix, souvenir shops, and entertainment. Our one complaint was they need to upgrade the mini refrigerators. They are old models and even when turned all the way up they don't get very cold nor do they have a freezer section. We have an infant and needed to keep milk/formula cold so resorted to using a cooler to be safe. Outdoor bar would benefit from an upgrade as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfy bed, spacious room and clean. Staff was friendly especially the chef and housekeeping was on point. Our room was cleaned and restocked within an hour of going downstairs. Pool was great and the towel system was a big help.

The hotel was good, not great. It needs to be updated a bit- like take the carpet out of the rooms. The sink in our room was broken and we made 3 requests for it to be fixed, but it never got fixed. The location was excellent and the pool was nice. Breakfast was also good. The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was a solid 4/5 stars. I would stay there again.

Tv was broke when we arrived. Hotel sent a tech to change it out. Once changed out the problem was something other than the tv. Tech says i will research and come back waitied for a few hours and never did. Chevk with fromt desk said he was gone for the day.

We had to leave for an emergency. I forgot two pieces of clothing, a wedding band, pillow, and beach umbrella. I have called the hotel three times regarding this and they say they’ll call me back. I still haven’t heard back from them. I also purchased the travelers insurance. We only stayed one night and the emergency was something we couldn’t help. So now I’m out almost $800 and a few of my belongings. Management still hasn’t contacted me. I even asked for a partial refund if $100 and wasn’t given that. We aware if you have to leave for an unforeseen emergency that you will not get a partial refund, and if you leave your belongings they’ll act like they can’t find them.

I never leave bad reviews and I won’t start today. This place me and my girlfriend stayed once before and had a great time. This time however they were overbooked so although we drove 2 1/2 hours to stay at this hotel we were told we didn’t have a room even after booking weeks in advance. Luckily the lady at the front desk already arranged another place to stay at for our trip for us at the best western which ended up being nicer rooms and breakfast so I appreciate the staff at holiday inn helping us stay at a hotel even though their facility was overbooked and couldn’t accommodate us. 5 stars for the staff.

Staff was super helpful any time we needed anything. Breakfast was pretty good, but can't really complain about free continental breakfast with hot options. The private beach access was great and the option to rent an umbrella and beach loungers was convenient and fairly priced. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay again!

I was a little disappointed that our room was not ready at check-in time. Then, our room keys did not work. I went down to the front desk and the clerk (very friendly) did something to the keys and sent me back up to my room. Whatever she did to the keys didn't work, so I had a to make a second trip down. I was informed that she would have to get someone from maintenance to help us get in our room. Forty-five minutes later, we finally got into our room (hour and a half after check-in). We were in Orange Beach for the Outlaw Music Festival and ended up being two hours late because of our room issues. It was just a little disappointing.

While at the property close to 10:00 pm.The next thing we know someone is trying opening the door repeatedly. We had both the bottom lock and the flip lock engaged, also the do not disturb hang tag on the doorknob.Now its one thing to knock, but it sounded like they were trying to break in the door. While they were trying to push the door past the flip lock, we both loudly said “Hello”. I opened the door keeping my full body weight against the door not knowing who I was going to encounter.It was maintenance saying that he came up because we were in someone’s room or to see why it was bolted shut.We had checked in earlier that day. While I understand things can happen this was not “OK”.If the door is locked,with the hang tag on the door and flip lock is engaged clearly someone is in the room.I received a call from the front desk saying they had a glitch in the system and to verify my last name. After the brief question of my name they hung up.The more I thought about it and our hearts racing I tried calling back to the front desk multiple times and no one would answer.I was concerned that someone now had activated keys to my room.Called my husband who also tried to call to the front front desk without answer. Their response was that Maintenance went up simply to see if the room was empty. No apology given. ALWAYS identify yourself and knock. I don’t say this often but I doubt I would ever book Holiday Inn Express room.

Great staff, Brianna welcomed us with a warm smile and greeting. Everything went so smoothly when it came to checking in, it literally took less than 5min. She had her stuff ready and together for us! Best features would have to be that You can walk right out on the beach, close to several great restaurants, it’s next to a Walmart, and Alvin’s island. Plus some adventure parks. Definitely recommend staying. We will be coming back! thank you team. :)

I liked the friendly environment, access to the beach, and the pool was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. The actual hotel could use a fresh coat of paint, but it was fine considering it's a beachy getaway hotel. I would stay here again.

Great location right by the beach. Most if not all visitors seems to have kids. There was allegedly some racket somewhere but we stayed during spring break week, and did not notice anything unusual. Devin make great drinks at Sandbar and beach is 20 second walk away.

The pool was dirty, with a layer of grim and who knows what around the entire thing. Once I noticed it I didn’t go in again. The food was bland and the drinks were watered down and over priced. The hotel was very noisy and most of the staff were rude. I usually love holiday inn expresses but this was a disappointment

--Staff was great from check in to check out. Very courteous and friendly. Breakfastvwas not so good some mornings you would go down around 8:30am and there was not antpy food they were always seemed to be short on drinks. Milk was always seemed like they couldn't get it. This needs alittle attention. Beside the breakfast situation the stay was great .
