Upon entering this establishment I was created by a kind young lady who was a new employee. She was warm and welcome. She was able to find our reservations quickly and get us our keys promptly. I room was very clean no random hairs on the bed or in the bathroom. The breakfast was sooo good and so was the coffee. Overall I would most certainly stay there again. One thing to note is this is not on the beach however you do have free private access to the beach with a code the hotel provides we didn't figure this out until we had already paid the 10 dollar parking. but that was on us not the Hotel.

Property was alright. Bed was not overly comfortable for a 3 night stay. We typically have good luck with Fairfield Inn properties. The pool was out for renovation which we did not learn until check in. It was raining over half our trip so we were left with the work out facility for entertainment. Very small fitness center but it worked. We were extremely disappointed with the pool being closed. We would not have booked at this facility if we would have known. ( Booking through Expedia vs direct with Marriott ) Beach access was a nice walk. Also convenient location for grocery store and essentials. Hotel renovations left the elevator floors filthy. Likely will not be booking here again.

The property doesn’t state or inform people there is little to no parking for their guest. They use their parking lot as a public pay parking area. When you inform the staff you’re a paid guest without parking they state they know parking is an issue and don’t care they tell you to find parking somewhere else & say you can walk back to your room that cost over a eleven hundred dollars for which is unacceptable. The cleanliness, friendliness of staff & breakfast was all great. It would have been an overall excellent stay if the hotel had parking for their paying guest.

I liked the staff, they were friendly. However, I got hurt the first day at the pool. I was trying to get out of the pool and the handles were loose, and I slipped and hurt my leg.Pool and spa were extremely old and need to be redone. I paid way too much money to have to deal with broken things that the hotel is not fixing.

The only reason for the markdown was the pool being out of service for maintenance.My son loves to swim no matter the weather. The close proximity to the beach was great and the room itself was nice with a great view of the pond. There was an alligator for our viewing pleasure. We were within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The bathroom had mold all on the walls, the ceiling, and around the tub. The beds were very uncomfortable, the iron didnt really work, the ironing board was broken, the balcony furniture was dirty and spider webs were everywhere on the balcony as well. The furniture . I never will stay there again.

When my guest and I entered our room we were met with garbage on the floor , hair in the tub, the passed guests room keys still in the room and Dirty pillows and sheets. We called down to the desk for help. The man at the desk was apologetic but explained that all the maid staff had left already. He came up to the room and changed our sheets and pillows which we had to assist. Staff was nice but the rooms were disgusting

em and be sure our reservation wouldn’t be CXD. Checked in and got to room. It was never cleaned between guests. Heap of dirty towels on floor. Beds unmade. empty Bottles and trash on the floor. Dragged our luggage back to front desk and employee never even apologized for inconvenience. Just remarked oh really and took my key card and issued another.

Our first night we noticed the beds were a bit sandy. It’s a beach town so we looked past it. Wasn’t until I pulled the sheets up a bit further the second night that a pair of someone else’s socks fell out the bottom on the bed. They didn’t change the sheets! That is not something I can look past. It’s disgusting and unacceptable!

Property is not clean or maintained. Our room was not ready on time or even hours after. We arrived at 6pm and it was not ready. It actually was not even cleaned when we were able to check in. There were cotton balls and Kleenex’s on the floor. Handprints on the mirror (all over) a dirty t shirt in the pull out bed, and hair in the tub. Breakfast had nothing by 8:00am. Completely out of everything including plates.

Pool wasn’t clean. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. The room floors seem dirty. Whoever cleans the rooms did not do a good job. The staff was very helpful once checking in.

Our stay was below average. I rate it a 3 because the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I also enjoyed the lake behind the hotel with turtles and a crocodile! We stayed 7 nights. The internet was awful. Streaming Netflix almost rarely worked for us. Every time we turned on the TV we needed to reset the TV to get sound. The staff was nice. They ended up swapping our tv out without telling us or following up. The GM suggested that I call the third party streaming service to troubleshoot connectivity within the hotel. I recommend the hotel for a short-stay only. Our room was supposed to be cleaned every other day. It got cleaned 1x during our stay. On top of all this we were placed in a room that was different from what we booked because the hotel said ‘they sold our room’ before we arrived! Thanks nice staff.

The AC was extremely loud and kept me up most the night. The tv in the bedroom worked half the time. The room door would close all the way unless you pulled it or pushed it all the way closed. Very low water pressure in the shower.

Stayed over weekend of 7/25-7/28. On the 27th when we return to our room realized anything that wasn't in our closet was gone. We were told cleaning staff had confusion earlier in the day and must have taken by mistake. We had to leave on our flight the next morning and was told I would be contacted. After a few days with no contact called back and left contact information again. Still have not been contacted back. If clothes and shoes would not have been in the closet we would only have had beach clothes, wallets, and phone. I would expect better from a Marriott property. Keep this in mind before staying. Lost souvenirs, some change, food and water from fridge, phone chargers, tooth brush, toothpaste, and a small cooler.

What was good about the stay and property is the staff to start with. When arriving there on the 3rd of this month. I was told that there was no reservation in my name. It has been canceled in April. I canceled the reservation with the third party, which was charging much more. I made reservation through the hotel itself, which i do not know how this reservation was cancelled, even though Expedia sent me a confirmed email. Rara waited on me, who also made the discovery of the cancellation and how my money was taken, which still have not been handle as Expedia said they would. She was very helpful and professional about this situation. Then she got one of the General Manager, Felicity, involved. They worked together to get my husband and I in a room to celebrate our anniversary. Their willness, professionism and caring mannerism made this situation turned a bad situation into a successful situation. Fairfield, you hired two awesome individuals to be part of your team. KUDOS, to Rara and Felicity! The property, itself, was nice and clean. Central located in an area that we could walk to different stores to buy groceries, souvenirs, our phones carrier, buy things for the beach and even two ice cream parlors. Keep hiring people like Rara and Felicity and keeping an Awesome hotel clean and relaxing. Have a good day!

Was told day before we could check in by 3. Arrived around 3 and was told 20 minutes. Came back around 4:30 and was told a few hours. There was a waiting list. Checked again at 5:30, room still not available. Was told by front desk clerk they would take $40 off the room for the inconvenience. Also heard them tell other waiting guests this. When we checked out the next day, no discount was applied to our bill. I asked the current desk clerk and he didn’t know what I was talking about and said he would check with the other managers. Still never received the discount. Hotel was nice, staff had some major communication issues across departments.

Nice, conveniently located hotel. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable king bed and clean room. My only complaint was breakfast. 6:30-9:30. We came down around 9:00am. There was no coffee at all. We asked about it and were told the machine in the back was broken. Several people asked and were given different answers. The food area was a mess, with spills and trash on the floor. There were 2-3 workers standing in the kitchen area, laughing, etc. Several customers were standing around waiting on coffee- never got any. The hot food was a messy pan of eggs, only 5 sausages left, and in the pan labeled “biscuits” was French toast sticks. There was also gravy but nothing to put it on. The eggs looked bad so we looked for hot sauce (most hotels have it available) but there was none. We always try to stay at a Fairfield Inn but we have never encountered such a terrible breakfast experience.

Breakfast is my favorite meal, so when I can get a chance to have it cooked for me, I take it. But this hotel goes above and beyond in that area! They really know how to appropriately appreciate the most important meal of the day! There were so many choices and every one was as delicious as the next! The facility was super clean and nice, our rooms were perfectly spotless each time they cleaned! The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was even better than I thought it would be. We were looking for a moderately priced ”just somewhere to stay” and got even more for our money than we knew. The hotel has access to the beach!! That wasn’t even listed on the site but was such an awesome bonus! Walking distance to Walmart, souvenirs, ice cream, restaurants and everything in between. The pool and hot tub area are quite dated but they back up to a lake with gorgeous views and local wildlife, so it balances out. With a dedicated and controlled parking lot, we never had a problem finding a close spot and never waited long for an elevator. Overall, great vacation, mostly because of this hotel!

The check in and check out process were easy, and the staff have great customer service skills but that’s where all the perks end. The beds are rock hard and not back friendly. The beds could use either a new mattress or a mattress topper to alleviate future issues for other guests. The breakfast needs some help, as the sausage patties were consistently overcooked and tasted like a piece of paper after one bite. The elevator needs serviced and sounds as though the cables are about to break. If these issues are resolved, I bet this hotel will be up there with the other 5 Star hotels in the area! The cover photo of the Fairfield in Orange Beach needs to be updated on all search engines as it is not that facility and very misleading.
