Stayed 1 night

The room was clean and comfortable. However, if the stay was refundable, we would’ve left as soon as we walked in the door of the lobby. We checked in about 11:30pm on 9/5/26 and spoke with Dawn who worked behind the counter. She was extremely condescending and rude from the moment I stepped inside. I walked in and asked if they had a luggage cart. Before answering, she asked if I had a reservation and what my name was. I answered. She looked at the 21+ band on my wrist and said “No, but we do have some water” in a very rude and snarky tone of voice. I don’t understand what the correlation is between a luggage cart and water…she was being blatantly condescending. At one point, I was standing silently at the desk and she stopped typing to say “Do you have a problem?” I’ve never been spoken to this way by someone in customer service. I stood up for myself and told her she was being rude and she started making excuses (“I’m just trying to be considerate”) and very unkindly and half-heartedly apologizing. I didn’t notice any other guest being offered a free water and I was not offered one the following morning by other staff. The woman who checked us out the following morning was very kind, thankfully. I told her about what happened and she apologized on her behalf. Another member of the staff overheard and told me Dawn was rude all of the time. She doesn’t need to work with the public. Will not stay here again.

everything about the motel was excellent except the ac didn't work correctly. the maintenance guy was prompt and came up 3 times and would push a few buttons on the unit but never fixed it. and he acknowledged that it was not right.
