We stayed one night. The room seemed recently updated and was clean and comfortable. We especially liked the dog park that was large, fully and safely secured. Not even a little dog would be able to wiggle under the fence. The breakfast and servers were great! The restaurant next door is Italian, and they deliver to the room and the food was hot and good! Thank you to the front desk for clueing us in! Great communication too. Grateful for the text that let me know our room was ready early, so we didn’t have to kill time waiting until 3 pm check in.

Great location for the casino and special events. Good parking. Hotel is a little old but maintained well. Room was clean but the carpet smells old and musty. Commode did flush slow so we did inform the staff before checking out. Breakfast was a hit! Friendly staff and the breakfast was great!

Not updated, small rooms and minimal necessities. If you book on Expedia or Travelocity, you get rooms in the farthest buildings facing the alley. Tight parking and doors are facing outside wallway. No elevators, 2 floors in each building. Much nicer locations on same street for same price. They dish up your breakfast plates cafeteria style. One plus, the biscuits and sausage gravy was awesome!

It’s an older hotel that is well maintained. It is very clean. Staff was great. The breakfast was good and they served you your food so everyone doesn’t handle the serving utinsels. The pool didn’t open until 10:00am but stayed open until 10:00pm.

Booked this property through Expedia. My cousin arrived to the property ahead of me and checked in to her room. There was hair in the bathroom and in the safe. The rooms were dark and the ac would not cool the entire room. There are hookers all around this area. The reviews and photos must be fake because they do not reflect the actual property. Expedia tried to get me my money back but was unable to reach the manager. I took the loss as I was not about to stay there.

It was close to the casino and had a great breakfast! The hotel itself was older but remolded. I felt like the room could have been more clean. There was mold in the air conditioner. It just needs a deep clean. Other than that it was good.

There is absolutely NO WAY that bathroom has been cleaned after SEVERAL stays. There was hair all over the shower walls, tub wall, toilet lid, toilet seat, bathroom floor. Different colors, lengths, ethnicities. As soon as I walked in I saw it everywhere it wasn’t like you had to get down and look. If someone had simply wiped it down (which I had to do with a washcloth prior to allowing my daughter to bathe) then it would have been cleaner than the condition we found it in. I would estimate it had not been cleaned in at least 3 stays. Unbelievable, very disappointed Oaklawn was booked but we won’t be back here EVER.

The room didn't look too bad, but it stunk like mold or mildew so bad I had to spray cologne into the AC vent so I could sleep. The area around the hotel is the main reason I would never stay here again, but the stink double confirms we wouldn't. The lady working the front desk was super nice and we didn't bother with the free breakfast, so can't comment on that.

Found hair in bathtub AND on bedside table. Was in a room that had adjoining doors to another room. Sound carried a great deal between the doors. Neighbors were noisy until 11:45pm. Carpet was dingy. Allergies were aggravated whenever we were in the room. Breakfast sausage was good. Fruit was fresh.

The bed was sagging and all 4 pillows were very flat. The air conditioner was extremely loud. Neither one of us slept very well. The shower was nice and the sheets were soft. The room did have a cute balcony.

The only thing I did not like about our room was that the bathroom exhaust fan was extremely noisy. Like, jarringly noisy. I meant to say something to the front desk but forgot. Other than that, everything was fine. I would not recommend this room for more than two though, as it was a bit small.

This is the first motel I stayed at in decades where the doors to the rooms were outside. STOP!! This was one fabulous place! Start with the staff. Absolutely fabulous! Situated two miles from the historic district of Hot Springs, it is situated on a very busy avenue with loud traffic. In our room? We heard NOTHING! The room was extra large, nice pillow-top mattress, great bathroom, convenient parking. Breakfast was excellent, numerous tables, well lit, and the TV down low. Cafeteria style, the hostess dished out the food with a smile. We will be back!

The front desk staff was delightful before, during and after our stay. They answered our questions, were courteous and very attentive to our needs. All the hotel employees were the nicest I’ve encountered and I travel a lot. The staff working at the breakfast area were very kind too. Breakfast was good although we didn’t see pancakes or waffles! The pool was clean and safe for kids, the hotel in conveniently located. The only thing I didn’t like was that the hotel rooms are outdated, but at least they were clean.

Room was neat and clean. We had a king room which was nice and spacious. Table and two chairs. Liked that shower and toilet separate room from sink for getting ready. Noise from pool and screaming children was distracting but desk staff went right out there after we called them and noise subsided. Would stay again.

I accidentally booked a smoking room and could not switch because no non smoking were avaliable. The smell was strong and we did our best to tolerate it. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a very nice woman serving the hot food. The breakfast staff was very hospitable and the food was better than average. The check in desk clerk was not very welcoming but the clerk when we checked out was much more customer oriented.

My husband and I stayed 3 days and not one person came by to check on the room for toilet paper, towels, trash or cleaning. I went to get toilet paper from one cleaning lady. I was very disappointed. Absolutely, NO service. Will not stay again.

Standard motel room, would have been OK for the price and appeared clean but smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke in a 'non-smoking room', we were both nauseous/had headaches from the overnight stay. If you're sensitive to this would not recommend. Note this location is across from the racetrack/casino, not walkable to 'downtown'.

This is a very nice place to stay. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. We had a double as we were with another couple. FYI you have to pay extra for a 2nd vehicle. Very hot and fresh breakfast that is served cafeteria style. It was all good. Our favorite thing about this hotel is we can walk right over to the casino and horse races.
