Good: The pool was nice. Plenty of hot water and good pressure made for a nice shower. Bad:The kitchen was not stocked well and we had to ask for a sharp knife, an extra plate and a couple other things. After being spoiled by AirBB stays, this was a real step down. And the place is getting a little threadbare. The TV only has cable, no Netflix etc. And the remote only allows up down arrow movement, so you have to scroll endlessly. OVERALL: The pool and the shower made up for the other shortcomings, and we'd stay again in a pinch.

Although the hotel had a few nice amenities like a beautiful heated pool, and nice cool ac, room darkening curtains, first floor rooms upon request, a comfortable bed and large bathroom, it also had some issues with cleanliness (dirty carpet that turned our feet black), damaged vanity and drawers, outlets that didn't work, a nightstand only one one side of the bed, no hangers in the closet, no alarm clock or clock of any type and dirty grounds with quite a bit of garbage floating around. We would stay again in a pinch. We liked that our service dog was allowed to stay without a charge.

Perfect hotel for a quick over night stay for our family. Rooms were great and the beds were comfy! The pool was nice! No breakfast but there is an ihop right down the road. Would stay here again!

Property description and pictures showed the open pool and pool area, but when we got to the location. Pool was empty and closed. Would have been nice to know - especially because there are many other hotel options in the area.

Was not worth the price. Shower leaked, bathroom floor was not clean (had other people’s hairs), and the bed sagged in the middle. In general, it looked like the room needs refinishing. Drywall patches left bare, paint was old, trim was broken in places…

Bed was super comfy though sheets had some minor stains. Floor was dirty with dead moths and maybe something that looked like mouse droppings near the AC unit and around the bathroom area. Was acceptable for the price and as I was just staying one night.

We went for our honeymoon and the first room was atrocious, but there's no refunds if using a 3rd party so we had to settle with a room move. The first room's fire alarm didnt even work. We were moved to a second room that ended up had a partially busted AC unit and cleary wasnt cleaned thoroughly as we found a lighter and months worth of dust behind the bed. The hot tubs in the rooms were also poor in condition and while the tubs were relatively clean, the pipes housed unmentionable residual material that i don't want to think too hard on. We left a day early because we had had enough. I cannot recommend this location in good faith.

The hotel room was nice. Check in was easy and the workers were nice. Only problem was how thin the ceiling was. I was sleeping when I was woken up by the loud noises of the people upstairs. Called the front desk so they could take care of it. It eventually stopped, I’m guessing because they went to sleep, but woke me up again at 545 in the morning. I definitely think half the problem was the ppl were just loud and probably had kids, but the other half, was definitely how thin it was. People with kids should be placed on the ground level, so the people below them aren’t woken up. The workers did handle the problem the best they could, however.

I would say this place was certainly safe as I had a bicycle and a motorcycle in the back of my truck and they made it through the night unscathed! It was reasonably quiet and being in the back building I didn't really even hear the train. The air conditioner unit in the room worked well but it was a bit noisy. I liked how they renovated the bathrooms. They used the space really well. The bed was comfortable. It was all clean and it was quite affordable so really nothing to complain about! I was a solo female traveler who arrived after dark and felt safe the whole time.

I booked a room with two queen beds for 1 night. The bed is clean and comfortable. The space of the room is too small because of the fit of 2 beds. The front view of the hotel is terrific. I can see an overview of Flagstaff from here.

This is an old hotel with a few updates. We stayed in a king room (not a suite). It smelled like smokers had been in the room. The bed was comfortable and the linens great! Pleasant and efficient staff. Good lighting in both of the rooms. There was no closet or any place to hang clothing or jackets. The WiFi was ridiculously slow and erratic, which also impacted the TV - which also was less that good (no guide, etc.) There were no towel bars or rings in the bathroom. There was a gap in the bottom of the front door (had a lizard in my boot the next morning), the main lock didn't engage, and the shower curtain was filthy on the bottom.

I would never stay her again. I stayed in the room for 30min. The bathroom was not that clean, the TV did not work and the AC cut in and out and was loud. Went to tell them about the TV and they said " Oh that happens, Ill send someone to fix it". I mean really! That happens? What place says that? When I went to get a refund because the pictures do not match the room I selected and all the other things wrong. They said sorry we dont do refunds. I was there 30min! And when I said you know this is how places get bad reviews. The front desk person said, " well you gotta do what you gotta do". I guess they dont care about what there customers think to try and make things right. Well as a medical traveler I know alot of medical professionals who go up to flagg to do long contracts and I will tell them all to avoid this place. Gotta do what I gotta do!

I've stayed at this property around 50 nights throughout the years. It's always been solid overall. This visit didn't go that way. I stayed for 3 nights and it was good as it usually is. However they started knocking on my door at 9am when checkout was at 11. I was woken up and asked if it was still 11 to get out of the room. She said yes and left. Well it was a bit after 10 and I had fallen back asleep and they knock again. Come on! Fast forward to 10:40 and I was using the bathroom when they knocked again and then walked in the room when I yelled Hey I'm here. I was considering staying another night but said nope and headed back home. I love the property and the rooms but this left me a terrible taste in my mouth moving forward.

Overall, I do have to say the the property was decent. We stayed only the one night. The AC was working great when we got into our room the 1st day, but as the night went on and we didn't need it at cool, the unit never shut off. It was comfortable, but something was wrong. At 9am, we were woken by housekeeping knocking on our door, and even attempted to open it. Even though we were leaving that day and checkout was 11am and we announced we were still in the room. Also we found a dead roach in the Keurig. At checkout, I informed the front desk, and she literally said nothing. No apologies, NOTHING. Shame on her. Good thing we just needed the room for a place to lie or head. Wont be going ban back there again.

Upon entry the property was clean and I didn't see any shady activities. That helped to feel hopeful and safe with my family. The first room had a food smell (maybe fish) it was so noticeable upon opening the door. The front desk was very accommodating and kind. The new room 120 was clean and it smelled like it was cleaned up. The room had a working refrigerator and microwave. That's convenient upon arrival and for our family with allergies. We need those amenities. We greatly appreciated there's a Fry's grocery to walk to. We had a relaxing stay and got good sleep to leave at 5am. I left the keys in a basket near the front desk. The property is big, with a pool (didn't try out due to the timing of day) and there's a little sit down patio (needs attention for a cleaner and with possible plants) I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 stars but the property needs to be refreshed inside, there was a towel or clothes hanger and it was coming off the shower wall. The base boards were dusty. It is not bad but it's not a 5 star rating. I would consider again for future visits.

We were pleased with our accommodations and super thankful for the good customer service we received. After a 6-hour Amtrak delay for our arrival, we finally rolled in shortly after 2AM. The gentleman at the check-in desk was polite & friendly and even helped carry our luggage up the hill, up the stairs and to our room…so helpful considering the exhaustion we were feeling!

The place is easy to find and well kept up. There are many eating places nearby in all directions. The main concern is that a freight train line passes just across the street from motel and the trains are frequent and noisy - even throughout the night.

The hotel is nice for the price, a little dirty in some areas but overall it was a good stay. Very close to downtown Flagstaff, we walked to the bars/restaurants and walked back at night and felt very safe doing so.

Unique shower & bathroom but had no place to hang towel except if used the rack for clothes hanging in bathroom. Only 1 trash can in king sized room & bathroom wirh not enough towels for 2 people that it was reserved for. No on-site food.

My husband and I stayed here with our two children during our roadtrip. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable, but my biggest complaint would be the way the kitchen setting is advertised. There is a stove, and cookware was supposed to be provided. There were plates, bowls, cups, etc... but very limited options for cooking. There was 1-2 small pots, and nothing else. A full meal could not be cooked with that if you wanted it. We were hoping to run to the store and make a decent meal instead of eating out, but that was a bust. I also was frustrated when I called to get linens for the sofa bed and they said they would have to see if they had linens and pillows. There's a sofa bed for a reason, to sleep on... so it wasn't a question that my children needed both on the bed. Other than those two minor things, we didn't have any major issues. I do not feel that the room was worth $300 being that we stayed in much nicer facilities along the way for much less, but I guess that's the area.

At first glance, rooms seemed clean and decent then as you see small details, you start noticing how they failed cleaning certain things. Our room had a kitchen and thir were items missing for kitchen use.
