Highland Country Inn Flagstaff

This motel is perfectly located right on Route 66, making it a very convenient stop. It’s a family-owned business, and the owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating, which really made our stay enjoyable. The price was very affordable, and while our room was simple, it felt cozy and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and the room was exceptionally clean—one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. We even saw the family out sweeping the parking lot by hand, which shows how much care they put into maintaining the property. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this motel to others.

Staff were very nice, amenities were great! I did not expect that the quality of the shampoo, conditioner and lotion (small, single-use size containers, not wall dispensed) would be so much better than the ones I get from 3-4 star hotels! Keurig coffee maker and newer LG TV, towels were fluffy white and clean, likely new or replaced often. NGL, i expected rough thin towels, so this is much appreciated! I liked the shower head, the water pressure was perfect! The beds were comfortable and the whole room was clean, bathroom is nicely updated. I slept well and did not hear the busy street noise! I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area. It may seem small and dated on the outside but its definitely a great place to stay. No free breakfast but I knew that in making the reservation because we had planned to leave early anyway and wouldn't be able to avail of it. Highly recommended!
