Rooms are basic, very clean and parking is right outside room. It has everything we needed to come back and relax after exploring the canyon. There’s a fridge & coffee in room. Most important for us is the comfort of the beds. These did not disappoint. Staff all over the property were friendly and helpful. Great location to general store and shuttle stop. We were a little worried with some of the reviews but we were very happy with our stay and will stay here again if we come back.

The location and scenery surrounded by nature were beautiful, but the facilities were quite outdated.

Rooms are just OK but for the price you should get Wi-Fi and a microwave oven. Outside could use a little cleaning around the buildings. The cafeteria needs to improve the quality of their food. It’s not very good overall. Don’t get a room anywhere near am exit door. They don’t close softly and you’ll hear banging all night.

Obviously location is key when staying at Yavapai Lodge - it's ideally located for the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The rooms are clean and practical, only minor inconvenience is a lack of a lift to get to the upstairs rooms (a pain with suitcases). Overall the facilities were good and great that you could park the car whilst exploring the canyon via the shuttle buses.
