Property has been repainted with a nice color scheme. The common area carpets could use a deep cleaning. There is no elevator to access the second floor. The king bed suite has a nice kitchenette area.

We needed to extend our stay and the staff worked with us so we didn't have to move rooms. All of the employees were super friendly and nice. A very clean hotel! The pool and hot tub were always clean too:)

Great trip with comfortable beds, very clean. Great customer service! The coffee pot stays on all day! Great location as well. Walkable restaurants. Clean grounds, ice machine works, towels were fresh with no stains! No elevator available at this location.

Stayed here to check out Lake Havasu with my husband and we had a wonderful time. The room was large and comfortable, the pool was lovely and so was the hot tub. We would stay here again.

Friendly staff and nice and clean. Decent breakfast options: pancakes, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and pastries. Be sure to call the hotel if you are booking from Hotels.com. Requested accommodations and notes are not passed on. However the hotel was able to accommodate on the fly. Thankfully! No elevator available, but downstairs rooms have ADA accommodation

This is going to be a mixed review. I'll do the good first. It's convenient and for the price, it's fine. We only needed it for a single night, and it accomplished what we wanted. The pool was nice (and very warm since it was 101 outside), as was the jacuzzi. The staff was incredibly accommodating and very kind at every turn. Check-in was very smooth, as was check-out. Everyone who works there seemed to enjoy doing what they were doing and being available to travelers as needed. So, that was great. Now, the bad. The original room (107) had some kind of odor in it from the moment we walked in. I initially thought it might've just been cleaning supplies or something like that. But, the bathroom floor vinyl tiling was not "flat" in all spots and wavy in many spots, especially next to the shower. This usually means that water/moisture has gotten under there and what we were smelling was probably mildew or mold. I was going to let it go but it just got to be something too noticeable. So, I went to the front desk and mentioned this to the woman there. She was incredibly nice and immediately switched our rooms. The new room was mostly fine, expect the refrigerator didn't work. That sucked but we kept what we needed to be cold in the ice chest in the truck. The room aside from that was fine! Bed was comfy, AC worked. Couches could probably do with some replacement and updating, they do look worn, but they were fine for a day. Overall - fine but needs work.

4 stars because of the price and location. It was a nice suite with a mini fridge, microwave and hot plate. The living area was nice to have. The bed however, was very firm and not too comfy. The tub also had not been cleaned and had at least 10 long black hairs all over it. The towels had hair too. Housekeeping also only half made the bed when they did the daily service. Overall we would come back but would check the room for cleanliness before settling in next time.

Small hotel, very clean with friendly staff. We booked the premium room with more square footage. Kitchenette was well stocked with utensils, bowls, plates, etc. Very quiet unlike some of the larger, franchise hotels. Will book again!

I have never seen a place where the floor itself was the tripping hazard. They tried to get cheap vinyl planks to adhere to the concrete floor but it wasn’t working. The flooring was buckled and not adhering at all. You can pick the flooring up if you wanted. It’s cupped so bad the it has at least a 1/4” bow in the middle. Also the back of the Direct TV remote back had been taped together a dozen times and he left it apart on the bed every day for four days so they could a least retake it but nope it was still not even taped back together. If elder person or handicapped remember that there is no elevator. Even the staff throws the Landry from the second floor to the first floor into an empty cart. So watch for that.

Overall this was a good value. Parking is somewhat limited for big vehicles with watercraft trailers. It may have been recently lightly remodeled but our room of #105, had recent water damage. The laminate flooring is badly buckled and is a tripping hazard. The breakfast is your typical low-budget fare. The king bed was very comfortable! This was a quick stay for us and I would suggest another hotel if you plan on a longer stay.

The lay-out of the room was very different and spacious. A wall dividing the sleeping area and the other area serving as a lounge and dining area. There was a wet-bar, mini-frig with a freezer compartment, cabinets above and under with a hot plate, pans, and silver ware in the drawers. In addition, a microwave. Extremely well furnished. An opening in the center of the wall allowed for a flat screen TV to swivel for both areas. The breakfast furnished is not much, continental style, but OK.

Everything very good about this place. Only thing I am not 100% with was the mattress. Mattress a little firm and border line on feeling the springs. Overall really good place especially for the price. Would for sure stay there again however only for a short stay because I don't think my body will handle for more then a couple of days on that mattress.

Best value in Lake Havasu. Rooms are all large rooms with divided living room and bedroom. Kitchen has a sink, microwave and Kurig style coffee maker. Excellent service every time I stay there. Awesome for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Suites. The suite was more spacious than we expected so we could spread out a little and were comfortable eating dinner at the table in the "living room" side of the space. The room was clean, including the bathroom, and the bed very comfortable. We made use of the pool and hot tub, and enjoyed breakfast before we left. The breakfast wasn't extensive but was adequate, with hot pancakes and several cold options. All in all, a great value for the money and a very convenient location as well.

3 days before I was going to check in my mother had a stroke I called them and explained what’s going on and the manager told me oh well it’s pass the cancellation date sorry, wow zero compassion at this place and i been staying there for over 10 years I will never stay there again terrible service. It’s an unfortunate situation and they could care less.

Hotel room had a strong order. When the front counter Manager, Jason, was notified of this order we where told they clean all their rooms and it wasn't there before we arrived. I informed him well it was so maybe they need to follow up with housekeeping. Jason then informed us we are being charged $100 dollar cleaning fee. I was floored since we had let them know of the order being present and we where not the cause of it. Jason said yes you are. I asked for a follow up call from the General Manager, Sarah, but was never contacted. Jason also said we where black listed from the hotel. When I said we have been staying at the hotel for the better half of a decade with no issues and have spent up to 16 nights a year with them it fall on deaf ears as Jason didn't care, nor did he want to listen. Stay away! They will falsely accuse you of things you didn't do and charge you for a service they failed to provide.

First time using this hotel. Very slow check in & we were the only ones checking in. Requested a room (twice online & in person) for accessibility & thankfully checked the room first before unloading all of our baggage. Room was not, so I had to have a new room reissued. Sweet gal, just took too long & she was not a newbie (she said). Check out time: keycard was not programmed to check out time (noon) but 2 hours earlier, so we couldn’t get into our room after leaving the property & coming back to get our bags. Went to the front desk to have someone remake a keycard & got lots of questions about it. Needed an ID but it was in the room. We are not sketchy looking people & just wanted to checkout. So another process as she escorted us to our room so we could get an ID, yet felt like a criminal in doing this. Hubby tried to make light of it but the gal (different one) was not too hospitable. Spacious room & kitchenettes are nice. Mattresses 70% on comfort & beds are low to the ground (seem lower than normal). We didn’t mind this but some people may need higher especially handicapped (as my hubby is). Clean crisp linens & towels. Food didn’t eat because we pack our own. 7/10 is my rating :)

The property and the people were good! The issue that destroys the whole holiday is when you use a Canadian credit card to reserve the room and pick the option to pay upon arrival but yet the hotel charges your Canadian credit card before your arrival date and you get stuck paying a 1.44 exchange rate! Their attitude to correct the issue was nonexistent! Unfortunately, that will prevent us from ever staying at this hotel again.

Very happy with the stay. Great friendly staff, and good value for the money for the room. My only complaint is that the furniture is pretty worn - you sink quite far into the couch when you sit. But it is relatively inexpensive compared to other properties. Clean and safe. It's not near the water and doesn't have views if that matters to you - it doesn't really matter much to me and I knew that going in. Would recommend.

First time at this hotel. Everything was okay. We have stayed at other hotels that included breakfast, but included hot breakfast. Island Suites only provides coffee, pastries, juice and fruit, like apples and oranges.

I enjoy staying at Island Suites. I come to LHC for medical appointments and this is my go-to foraccommodations. All the staff I have interacted with are professional and friendly. My rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The noise level is mild and/or short lived. The pool is clean! The mini kitchen has and electric hotplate and stocked with equipment to prepare simple cooked meals of my own. There is a dorm-sized refridgerator with top freezer separate from fridge. There are dishes and utensils too. Along with the standard microwave and coffee maker, there is a kitchen sink with towels and dish soap. The breakfast is mostly carbs so I didn't have much other than a yogurt and took banana nut muffin for an afternoon snack. I think I saw hardboiled eggs too. Many bread options. There was also fresh fruit, but I had my own. Dry cereal and oatmeal packs. The small dining area was exceptionally clean.

This is a very nice hotel the staff is nice and the everything is clean. The rooms were spacious the pool is good and the rate is affordable. The breakfast was lacking the only hot option is pancakes and they were not great. They did have yogurt hard boiled eggs and pastries though. I will definitely stay here again.
