Room was very clean. Adequate towels were provided for our 2 night stay so we didn't have to go back down to the desk. The desk clerk when we checked in was very friendly & helpful. Gave us some ideas for dining, which was excellent. The pool was very nice. (Clean, perfect temperature & right by our room). Was very refreshing after hiking & sight seeing for several hours. The room was unique, not just your run of the mill

We loved our stay! Staff is very friendly, provided goodies in the lobby, and a satisfying breakfast. Our room was upstairs with a fireplace, balcony, and beautiful canyon views. The room was decorated nicely with unique touches. My husband went into the nice pool and hot tub.

Southwest Inn is a charming and comfortable home away from home. We stayed in the Anasazi suite, a spacious king bedroom suite with a living room area with a fireplace and large bathroom. I loved the fireplace and Southwest decor. The boutique has amenities including a hot tub and heated pool. Parking is available right by your room. There is breakfast available in the same building as the check in desk. My only wish is that the bathroom had hooks or towel bars. I would definitely recommend booking here for your stay in Sedona!

We’re very happy we chose this location for our first trip to Sedona. Our two-night stay after Thanksgiving was perfect. The room was comfortable, spacious and two doors down from the hot tub. We were able to use the hot tub at night and it was clean. We visited the pool area and it was also clean. Breakfast was good as well. We preferred staying at this location because it was just outside the busy downtown area, and we truly wanted to relax. We ate at an amazing Thai restaurant (Thai Spices) down the street for dinner one night. The next night we had pizza at Gerardo’s Pizzeria. Be prepared for a long wait, but it’s worth it. The hotel is also great because you can easily access multiple hiking locations very easily.

The location of the property was good. The bed was good and the gas fireplace gave a nice ambience. Only thing I'd ask at this price point was that each room have at least one reserved parking spot. At night coming back from the evening it was challenging finding a spot.

Room was very nice. Had a fireplace (106° in Sedonna) and came with a complementary bottle of wine. Very comfortable and accommodating. No microwave in rhe room and the "gym" is a complete joke. It looks like a repurposed 8x10 utility room barely big enough for the treadmill that didn't work and a mat on the floor. There were two 5lb and two 1lb dumbbells and that was the gym. I would highly recommend Southwest Inn as a place to stay so long as you don't need a workout on site. Wonderful staff and an automated receptionist from 6-11pm. Would definitely stay there again.

My new favorite place to stay in Sedona. Right at the end of 89 in West Sedona. Multiple restaurants next door to walk to. Easy parking. Comfortable cozy room, coffee refrigerator soap etc provided. Missing microwave. Strong AC, it was 111 outside, we were good. Lobby always has snacks, muffins, fruit water coffee tea. The rooms face east so sunshine is immediate and early. The pool was decent to swim laps in, I was alone there. Large table and chairs with recliners to rest, shaded area, lots of trees. The spa worked wonderful, my muscles were relieved after sight-seeing all day. But the spa did have tiles fallen off needed replacing. Excellent breakfast, eggs, cereal, fresh yogurt machine with fixings nuts etc. Bread, bagels. Juice coffee tea pancakes etc. Good selection. But on second floor, use stairs no elevator. All the rooms have outdoor private patio facing the parking lot. Lots of stairs to climb though, no elevator. My major issue booking company charged daily $30 resort fee extra above the going rate. The office said they never do that.

Leaking sink on floor, bathtub and shower with hair on sides/walls, old bits of plastic food wrappers on carpet. Had to remind them I was to get the VIP gift, received a bottle of wine with no opener. Said they would call me when they found one, never called. Unable to switch my leaky faucet room because they didn't know how to work the system. I asked for a discount, do I am waiting on the manager to call....it's been 24 hours.

The view was lovely, although in our unit it was somewhat obstructed with trees and power lines. The entire property was very clean and well maintained. Our room was modern, well appointed and cozy. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations about area restaurants. Pool was very nice. I would certainly stay here again.

The staff is VERY friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is convenient to trailheads restaurants and spectacular red rock views. Room was clean and spacious. Balcony relaxing with views of red rocks. Pool and jacuzzi clean. Breakfast offered eggs, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, sweet rolls, juice , tea and coffee.

We were very unhappy with our experience at Southwest Inn of Sedona. The problems we encountered- 1)the bed bounced every time my husband rolled over, it felt like a water bed, 2) the socket next to the bed was coming out of the wall when I went to plug in my phone, 3) the shower filled up with water when I showered, so much so (2-3 inches)that I had to put a bath mat in the shower so I wouldn’t slip, and 4) the cleanliness was not up to par with the cost of the room. To top it all off I had to deal with a virtual assistant to get a refund for the remaining days of my reservation. We do not recommend this property.

Disappointed in this stay. Almost $300 for one night and the fireplace didn’t work, long hairs all in the shower, dead roaches in corner of bathroom, light full of dead bugs, filthy light switches, etc. Overall the place needs a facelift and definitely better cleaning practices.

Upon arriving at the hotel, there were no staff readily available and so we were checked in via a computer screen with someone in the Philippines. This was a lengthy process and the key that was machine generated did not work. We had to try and find someone to speak to in person Which was challenging. When we went to our room, there was a strong odor of wet dog. The pull out couch had dog hair all over and smelled terrible. There were cockroaches in the room, something that looked like ashes on the floor, and hairs on the bed. The room was unclean. We reached out to staff about changing rooms and were placed in a smaller room. This room smelled better but also had cockroaches. We reached out to Expedia for a refund and to at least be compensated for the change in room sizes but the hotel denied our request. We were also promised a bottle of wine upon check in that we never received. I would avoid this hotel due to lack of cleanliness.

The Southwestern decor in the room was amazing especially the moonlit headboard. We had a spectacular view, the bedding was great, and we got a great recommendation for what to do. It is a very unique place that I highly recommend.

The bed was not comfortable, the sheets were polyester which held in the heat, the shower floor needed a redo. The ventilation system was loud. They try to spruce it up, but it does need an update. Location was nice. Did not use the pool or the hot tub. Breakfast was just OK, coffee was weak. Check in was easy.

The room was decorated nice and was clean. We had an upstairs room that had a great view and balcony. The overall look of the hotel was also nice/above average. The breakfast buffet was great. The Hot tub was also great (we didn't go in the pool). The only things I can think of that would be a negative was the traffic noise was a little loud and It would have been nice to have a microwave in our room. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

We loved this place. Great location with amazing views. The room was generous, had a fireplace and large balcony with table and chairs. Bed was very comfortable. Drawbacks- bathroom was nice but had a small amount of pealing paint, Brocken wall tile and no towel rack next to the tub/shower. Also, a microwave would have been a good addition.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights, for a special trip together. We arrived at around 8:30 pm , after a long day of travel, and I found it off putting to deal with a kiosk and a live video of a woman (from the Philippines) instead of front desk person. I had requested to be in a room away from the road but our room was the closest to the highway; I was told no other rooms were available, which was a bit hard to believe given the almost empty parking lot.. The road noise was loud at times, especially early in the morning. On the plus side: The room was large, clean, nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. The location is convenient for hiking and dining. Parking is free and plentiful. I tried calling the front desk during daytime hours several times with questions related to our stay and the line was always busy. The lack of anyone onsite after hours and the lack of phone contact to the front desk at any time made the experience feel quite impersonal- and I wondered what a guest would do in case of an emergency. I had carefully read the hotel website and the list of amenities, so was puzzled that no robes were in the room despite that being at the top of the list. Going out to the hot tub in the almost freezing temperatures would have been much more pleasant with a robe! When I finally found a human at the front desk one morning and asked about that, she was surprised to hear it was on the website as an amenity and that the hotel was “working on getting robes”.

Rooms are very nice with the the exception of the wall heater/AC units which were excessively LOUD. My daughter was in a second room and it was the same,we both had had to turn the units off to relax or sleep. Everything else would be 4-5 stars. There is also a huge amount of road noise from the hiway

Everything about this little gem was wonderful. We first met Hope when we checked in and she is a true professional. Hope is incredibly nice and resourceful. We took her advice on eateries and she was right. Then on our day to check out, we met Jessica who was also incredibly nice and a great employee.. This place is beautiful, small and quaint but perfect for anyone to stay.

Check in took a really long time. I was principally given the wrong paperwork. The property was a little run down although very tidy. The location right on a busy street with no setback made it a bit noisy at times. The included breakfast was less than stellar although it was one of the reasons I chose the inn. There was nothing wrong with the hotel but I would not call it great.

To my surprise the shower did not work and there was No Walter in the faucet I talked to the front desk lady and she said that she will try to call maintenance but never did. She told me that the manager “will try to call me “ and never did I guess the manager never TRIED This is not the way how you treat the platinum members!!! I won’t recommend this hotel

The location and hotel were beautiful. Sadly, the reasons for the low rating is due to reimbursement of charges via 3rd party (hotels.com / Expedia). I fully booked and charged my cc prior to my stay well in advance, however, I was charged again ‘on site’ prior to booking in. I was told the charges would be reversed, however, on my cc statement I see that the charges are not reversed, so I am doubly charged for a room that is not worth the price. Do NOT recommend staying here unless my issue is resolved ASAP. Thank you.

The property has a virtual check in machine that simply does not work. I checked in around 10:30PM and as it was late I was helped by a virtual lady. The communication was poor, her micro wasn’t working, it took a while but she finally managed to print the room keys, which were not working so I had to come back and start over. Annoying process. I was traveling from Las Vegas and they have such an amazing and friendly check in virtual machine at the hotel… Be aware to arrive early to your check in!

The check in process was great. The gentleman working the front desk was so kind, helpful with local recommendations, and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and chocolate. We liked the room and because prices in Sedona are so inflated due to demand, the room was better than we expected. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and the location was conveniently close to anything you might need!

This hotel was a nice find. The staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable. It was conveniently located close to hiking trails and restaurants making it easy to access both quickly and easily. The hotel is off of 89A which makes it a bit noisy if you'd like to sit on the patio but the rooms themselves blocked out the noise. We would stay here again.

The perfect location for a weekend get away or business trip. Hotel was located right along scenic route 89, and within walking distance from several dining options. The gentleman who assisted me with checking in was very helpful and kind. The view was spectacular, even from a lower level room.

The property had a really nice view of the mountains and was located near trail heads just down the road. We found the bed too firm and sleeping was not comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good except no meat options like bacon or sausage for the continental. Overall we had a great stay.

Was very nice and clean. Was very disappointed with the breakfast service. My wife went at 7:25 as breakfast area is open at 7:30. She wanted to get coffee the girl working said it would be 10 more minutes. She came and got me and we went back in 10 minutes, coffee still not done. We ask girl working she said it would be 6 more minutes. We waited and waited we were only ones there and it’s upstairs. My wife goes as gets girl and ask about coffee she goes in room where coffee is made we waiting and waiting literally 10 minutes goes by and we walk out and have to go buy coffee down street. Not much for breakfast either.
