Very pleased with our stay at SRL, the entire staff is super friendly, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the grounds were well maintained. We had a garden level room so there were no views from there but we were able to enjoy the AMAZING views from the wedding area since it was not in use during our visit. We didn't use the pool but walked by it often and it seemed very nice and well kept with a nice running water feature. Air stream trailer had great food and drink options and was also super affordable and convenient and the shuttle service made getting into town very easy. Would definitely stay at SRL again and look forward to returning.

There was No view from the balcony . The viewing area to which the property uses to mainly promote, as part of its marketing was closed off for weddings and we were denied entry. Lots of hair deposits in the shower cuticle and then had to pay resort fee on check out , which we weren't made aware of when checking in . Considering how much we paid to stay there we feel that it was over priced..

The staff is so friendly, they have free shuttle around 5 miles of the hotel and is enough, the view is spectacular, have pool and jacuzzi, free coffee, water , tea in the lobby, near the vortex, there is only one thing there is a $50 deposit and they charge you $4.99 each day for resort fee or something they didn't tell me in advance, and it is required to tell you before to do the reservation, well here in CA it is in that way. but other than that fee all is great!!

Really cute hotel. The associates were super friendly. We liked that the fact that they have free parking and the resort fees were minimal. The pool and jacuzzi were very relaxing and clean. This is a great place to come and unwind. We were pleasantly surprised.

Great location, extremely clean well appointed rooms, helpful staff. Missing a restaurant, although a food truck/bar is available. There is an excellent restaurant very close but dinner reservations are a must. No elevator or assistance with luggage if you are on the second floor.

Sky Rach lodge was a great start to our 3 week tour of the US South West. Easy to find after a long drive from Phoenix Airport, our room was comfortable and clean. A small bar with food was fine for our first evening meal, but people who want something a bit more special should pre book the airport restaurant a short walk away. It’s very popular! An outstanding feature of the property is a viewing platform on its edge that offers a magnificent view over Sedona and the surrounding hills, especially at sunset. Quite a few guests gathered here to watch the sun go down. The small pool is a nice add-on along with a hot tub that adds to the charm of the property.

the place was lovely but we booked partially because of the hot tub. when we got there we’re notified that it was out of order. no prior notice. we would have gone somewhere else if we had known ahead of time. 😢

Excellent room, fantastic grounds, staff, especially the front desk. was outstanding. Downer, the swimming pool and hot tub are not handicap friendly. Exceptionally steep steps make entering and exiting very difficult. No handicap ramp to the swimming pool. Must carry walker up and down stairs

Room was very nice, clean and up to date. No free breakfast, but they serve warm cookies around 7:30 a.m. to go with your coffee and there is an airstream that serves breakfast and wine and pizza at night, although if you are not too tired I recommend going to a restaurant because the pizza wasn't that great. We are hikers and were looking forward to the hot tub each night after a long day of hiking, but it was out of service for 3 of the 4 nights we were there. Keep in mind there is also no tub in your bathroom, so if the hot tub is out there is no option for a soak after hiking. Staff were friendly. Also keep in mind it is up and away from town so if you are tired and hungry it's a drive into town for any food that is decent. Plus side is you are already up on the airport vista for sunset views at night and they have their own private viewing area for you away from the crowds.

Property is absolutely beautiful! Stunning views, an oasis of landscaping, free shuttle service, and really nice rooms. Pool area was crowded and noisy. Quite unpleasant. Overall, property is really quiet. A lot of weddings going on.

It is a wonderful property with beautiful landscaping and dog areas. Everything is well kept. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfy. The front desk staff is super helpful and friendly. The property is very welcoming to dogs. There is no restaurant on site and the airstream is the only food source on the property. Their food is reasonably priced and edible. The only complaints I have are the room was a bit dusty and dust bunnies would stick to my clothes if they fell on the ground. Since we had a downstairs room, the upstairs guests could be heard frantically pacing back and forth in the evenings and less so in the mornings. But the heavy footfalls pacing back and forth in the evening for hours were as loud as a drum. Then there was clanging and other noise from upstairs. I decided the upstairs guests must be doing walking lunges with weights that they would drop after a few rounds. Obviously this is not the something Sky Ranch Lodge could control, but the upstairs guests were simply inconsiderate of us and we were glad to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at Sky Ranch Lodge! Beautiful location and views. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Grounds were well kept and pool/spa area was nice to relax! Close to trails and the best view spot in town! Will recommend and return!

Clean and quiet room. Beautiful views overlooking Sedona and from our balcony is was great to watch the changing shadows on the surrounding rock formations. The hotel gardens are very nice and quite a few of the unique plants are labeled. The beds are really soft and comfortable.

The location, staff, condition and cleanliness was excellent. Staff was extremely helpful, as was the free shuttle. The grounds are very peaceful and location near the airport mesa ideal. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view, comfortable beds, Clean. No elevator for upstairs rooms. Elderly need to book a first floor room. Hauling everything up the stairs for my older mother was difficult. Dog friendly. I do wish the patio allowed for my dog to be off leash but the wall between rooms on the patio upstairs didn’t go to the floor. My dog could get out and visit the neighbors if off leash.

Everything is right about this property, it is situated at right place, close to everything. Airport overlook is within a block, property in itself has a nice landscape, very picturesque and you can see the amazing sunset. Overall, I gave 3/5 rating because we stayed in two story building and roof/ceiling are paper thin. We could not sleep till 11:30 in night and we have to call front desk as we can hear loud stomping of people upstairs. It’s not the fault of people who were staying upstairs as the building is poorly designed and has bad acoustics. There are other buildings which are one story which might be a good option.

We loved the location. The beds were so used I kept sliding off the side all night. I tried to get in the middle, but still slid off. The pool was too far away to use. The table in the room had stools instead of chairs and were backless. It was difficult for me to sit there as having had back surgery I needed support.

Beautiful location. However the bed was not comfortable. Appeared that they stretched the life of a mattress by adding a foam topper. All this did was make you feel like you are sleeping in jello. Not good. Very difficult to get comfortable and turn. After all, when staying at a hotel you rent a place to sleep. It should be comfortable.

Nicely located, clean property. The rooms were spacious and the staff very friendly. However, the walls are too thin. We could hear everything from the unit above us - footsteps, conversations, and every time they flushed the toilet it sounded like a waterfall. Not our neighbor's fault but it kept us up both nights we were there. Would only return if we managed to get a single cabin.

Great location on airport road, easy to get to sunset spots, and several hiking trails without needing to drive. The room was nice size, occasional noise from guests above. Nice food truck to get a bite and coffee, tea and water available in the lobby.

We were woken at 6:30 am by a crew of roofers who were replacing the roof on the unit next to us who then moved to our unit. We were on the upper floor. When we left, we were blocked in by work trucks. I understand roofs need to be repaired, but I don’t understand being placed in a room where it was taking place or at least being warned. When I mentioned it to the front desk checking out, no apology for the inconvenience. You would hope for better service and planning ahead after paying as much as we did and from what was supposed to be a really nice resort. Very disappointed by the treatment we received.

I really liked the place and would have loved to come back however I did have an issue with a refund. I was unable to cancel even though I had an emergency that wouldn’t let me stay the night. I get there is a policy but as a customer I am upset.

Sky Ranch Lodge is absolutely stunning — spotless rooms, unbeatable location, and breathtaking views. But what made my stay truly unforgettable was the staff. Stefan noticed my graphic tee and recommended a local event I loved. Damian greeted me with the warmest smile and helpful directions every day. Mason was wonderful with my bags and continued to offer great service throughout my stay. Chris suggested Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park — the perfect easy walk for my limited mobility. The staff is so friendly, they have free shuttle around 5 miles of the hotel and is enough, the view is spectacular, have pool and jacuzzi, free coffee, water , tea in the lobby, near the vortex, there is only one thing there is a $50 deposit and they charge you $4.99 each day for resort fee or something they didn't tell me in advance, and it is required to tell you before to do the reservation, well here in CA it is in that way. but other than that fee all is great!!

This property is located on a beautiful vista and is her first with very pretty gardens and ponds. I would really rate it a three out of five stars the rooms are quite basic, and the woman who checked us in, was not friendly or welcoming, which did not kick our our visit very well. In addition, we were in Sedona for a hummingbird festival of which the sky Ranch Lodge was a sponsor(yay) but their hummingbird feeders throughout the property were empty, which for a hummingbird lover, like me was a little upsetting.

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Sky Ranch Lodge! From the front desk team to Larry on the shuttle, to the cleaning crew - everyone was so friendly and helpful, always ready with great recommendations or just a nice chat. The Airstream trailer on-site was a total highlight- their pizza was SO good we went back for it twice (and the salads were just as tasty!). The lodge’s pavilion is hands down the best place to watch the sunset—totally magical. And if you take a short walk down the road to Airport Mesa, you’ll get the most gorgeous sunrise views. Overall, it was fine. I appreciated the courtesy shuttle so I didn’t have to search for parking. Larry was friendly and helpful. The check-in staff were rude. It was not a good first impression. The room was clean and spacious. After the first night, housekeeping knocked on my door. I told them I would be leaving in less than 15 minutes. Instead of saying they would come back, they asked if I needed housekeeping. I felt obliged to say no.

First and foremost the views are tops. However; the world wishes to view the red rocks from the same top. Therefore, near sunset time, getting back to the lodge from day travel you must have patience to allow visitors driving up and walking to the cliffs for views right at the lodge entance. I was given a bottle of scotch at the ripe age of 18 years old from my first real job that the sewing machine factory at Christmas time. Everyone was given a bottle of people usually mix it with water scotch and water, but it is sucky. I mean it’s like whiskey you know what I mean I didn’t like it. I never had it since but you know I’ve had other things that or is it a scotch blend that I’ve had was is Drambuiwhich I don’t mind is B&B I don’t know I’ve had those I don’t mind drinking Drambuie or B&B or Yukon Jack even I’ve had Yukon jack and sipped it and I don’t mind that I don’t know what is Yukon jack I’ve had that except that

We loved this hotel and have already referred friends here. The views were beautiful. The room was clean and well decorated and comfortable with its own private porch. The staff was so friendly too. We took the shuttle into town both nights and the driver was personable and helpful with tips for town. The air stream trailer on site was perfect for a couple drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. There is a great restaurant in walking distance where you can watch the planes come and go. Also a good hiking trail just outside. Great spot to watch the sunset also. Would love to come back here again!

Great hotel with gorgeous views and excellent location. The sky king room was the perfect size, very clean, and comfortable. They have an airstream on site that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. It was delicious and reasonably priced! They also would deliver to your room. They have a shuttle service which is a gentleman named Larry who will take you to/from the hotel to areas in Sedona. He was always courteous and gave great suggestions for restaurants, trails, and things to do. It was great to be able to use this service instead of having to drive everywhere. We will definitely be back!
