Was put off by the fact that we couldn't check in early (at all). Then, we were moved to a different room because the one we were originally going to be in had a broken air conditioner (or so we were told). Then, we couldn't park in the assigned parking spot of our room because of street maintenance. And finally, the restaurant was closed both days of our stay. Other than that, the room was very nice and so was the location.

So, we love this place and have stayed 11 times over the years. This time had two issues that dampened how good this place can be. Wednesday the restaurant closed with no warning causing us to have to go into town for dinner after we confirmed by phone that they would be open. 2 hours unplanned when we just wanted to walk to the onsite restaurant and go back to relax. The second was the house across the stream from Junipine ran a leaf blower from 8:30am to 2:30 pm on thursday ruining any peace and quiet and that is why we come here. The combination of these events, made for a far less enjoyable stay and we'll be re-thinking weather we can get the relaxing time we hoped for here or not.

Restaurant is outstanding; chef is talented and inventive; all food we ordered was excellent Cons: Older, dated unit w non-working DVD or CD, broken frame for hot tub cover removal, no salt or pepper in the shakers Treacherous staircase to loft, making it only usable by children Handprints of some black substance smeared on wall on the deck Wi-Fi connection weak and unusable. NO maid service each day, despite $75 per person extra charges for each guest Junipine desk staff: Called 3 days ahead of arrival to complete payment in full, yet spent 30 minutes checking in while the staff tried to collect another payment because they didn’t know how to find it on their computer system (creating anxiety rather than an uneventful checkin) First set of keys we were provided were not for our unit, requiring us to return to the office Predatory pricing of water and snacks in office Staff was dismissive and impolite — when I checked out, neither of the staff present said ‘thank you’ or ‘how was your stay?’ but rather printed out a receipt and wordlessly handed it over. I would not stay at Junipine Resort again.

The setting is magical, absolutely beautiful. Close to Slide Rock Park. Too far from Sedona town to visit or go to restaurants easily. Cabins vary depending on owner and you never know if you'll get a good one or a rundown one. I've had both, and won't book again because of that. The onsite restaurant has good food, but doesn't serve breakfast. You have a full kitchen, so that's ok. The office sells some basic groceries. They do not have daily maid service and there are really no amenities.

It was a bit pricey, but the property was lovely, quiet, and clean. The staff were all responsive and friendly. The food and food service at the property restaurant were fantastic. My advice to travelers who need good morning coffee is to come prepared. The in-unit Kuering was awful, and there was no other coffee available on site in the morning.

The condo was obviously an incredible home at one time. At our stay however, we had a few issues. The floors were so dirty that walking on them made my bare feet black. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, so we had to go buy our own. The furniture, was probably pretty nice at one time but everything was very worn, scratched, dirty couche/ chair. Dining chair rips. Mismatched garage sale silverware. Everything just very overused and worn. The view off the back deck was incredible but didn’t make up for the beat up condition of the place. I’d stay in this complex again, just not this condo.

The unit was dusty. Furniture so old dirty plus had holes. Bed toppers filthy and old. Wall hangings that once were white were gray with dust. Granddaughter’s asthma was getting bad on the verge of a full on attack. We checked out and didn’t say the night. Front desk couldn’t help because we booked through Hotels.com. I don’t think I will be using Hotels.com because of lack of support from the facilities.

It’s 50 individually owned properties that make up the resort. For the price I paid, I would expect it to be clean but it wasn’t. Very dusty and bathroom shower floor was slimy, I wore shoes because I felt floors hadn’t been cleaned. I did like my sister and I had our own bedroom and bathroom but beds didn’t even have fitted sheets so it would come off the bed and get tangled under you. I liked it was 20 minutes from town but I would not stay again. Upstairs bedroom and bathroom had ants. Thick dust on ceiling fans . Major disappointment

The location is very nice. While the layout of the rooms were nice as well, all the fixtures were old - i. e. Showers, kitchen faucet, lamps… The floor was also quite dirty. I made the mistake of walking around in my socks and they got filthy! Given the price, I expected more from this place :(

Nice place , on a creek. Needs updating and room wasn’t checked when we arrived. Dirty dishes in dishwasher . Wrong room was unlocked slept in double beds first night. Patio unclean. Nit at all like the pictures. They comped us for the first night

These condos are not kept up. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned again. Towels, sheets, & blankets dirty and stained. Feces under the toilet seat and wall. Our feet turned black. I cleaned random places of the floor and each time the paper towel was grey or black. The outside is beautiful, however, the lodging itself is outdated and gross. I went to make tea w/the kcup machine and it appeared to not have been cleaned in a very long time. We stayed in room 26, 2 bedroom near the creek for 4 nights. I spoke to 3 people at the front desk and they blamed the owners of the condos and the cleaning crew. You would think as management you would accept responsibility and discuss the conditions of the condo w/the owner and address cleaning directly with the cleaning crew. I saw the cleaning crew’s equipment. The mop they use are not even for the wood like floors that our condo had. Food was great and so was the service! As beautiful the surrounding are, unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I visited Junipine 20 years ago with family and our stay was incredible. This visit was with a friend and we also enjoyed our stay immensly. Our room was actually a villa with a full kitchen, large living area, two fireplaces, large bathroom area with 2 counters and sinks, and a loft bedroom with a large skylight. The deck was large and peaceful, you can hear the creek and see trees and the canyon walls. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and beautiful.

This property is a bit dated, and a few things in the suite showed their age or didn’t work properly. However, there are far more good things that ultimately makes this a place I’d return to. The location is beautiful; the antique style decor is unique; the villas are huge; all the basics are provided (though don’t expect any high quality items or anything like that). Honestly, it’s more than reasonable for the price. The creek is awesome, and it’s nice to have a big balcony.

This is not your typical hotel/motel. Stayed 5/11/25, coming from South Carolina.. Beautiful interior with 2 fireplaces, large deck and creek views. Midway between Sedona and Flagstaff. Quiet and restful. Will always stay here in the future.

Pros: Spacious room consisting of living room, full kitchen, loft area, 2 wood burning fireplaces and a separate bedroom. Wonderful wrap around deck. Very clean. Peaceful environment. Cons: Mattress was not comfortable for me and possibly needed replacing. Restaurant for lunch and dinner was good but limited in choice and quite expensive. (Just in case you haven't brought your own food)

Great location and very convenient in Oak Creek Canyon. The rooms are a little dated and the water wasn't the hottest in the morning. Our unit was incredibly large and the balcony was great. Would highly recommend for a family if they want a larger place near West Fork or Slide Rock.

Given a unit with no heating and leaking toilet. When addressed the next day there was no sense of urgency. Finally they did eventually offer to move us to a different unit after two hours of wasting my vacation time arguing. We accepted, second unit was good and had heating. No apology was offered and no compensation of any kind.

I arrived at 1:30 I was told come back at 2:30, I came back at 5 and was told room would be another half hour. Then, the room was switched on me from a " Creekside balcony" to a deck over looking the parking lot!!! I did not stay over in Sedona to sit overlooking the parking lot. There was no compensation for the switch. The people in the lobby just looked at me as if I were crazy. They left soap on the shower floor..

This was a very nice property nestled in the forest near Oak Creek. Uptown of Sedona was a 10 or 15 minute ride which was nice. Would stay there again if back in Sedona.

Was put off by the fact that we couldn't check in early (at all). Then, we were moved to a different room because the one we were originally going to be in had a broken air conditioner (or so we were told). Then, we couldn't park in the assigned parking spot of our room because of street maintenance. And finally, the restaurant was closed both days of our stay. Other than that, the room was very nice and so was the location.

Our room was absolutely incredible nice,clean and comfortable and the property was well maintained. The restaurant was very good and our waitress was excellent however the bartender was completely rude unfriendly and dismissive which kind of killed our little vacation vibe but thankfully the rest of the staff was awesome and the food was delicious, wish there was more choices on the menu but the risotto was unbelievable.

So, we love this place and have stayed 11 times over the years. This time had two issues that dampened how good this place can be. Wednesday the restaurant closed with no warning causing us to have to go into town for dinner after we confirmed by phone that they would be open. 2 hours unplanned when we just wanted to walk to the onsite restaurant and go back to relax. The second was the house across the stream from Junipine ran a leaf blower from 8:30am to 2:30 pm on thursday ruining any peace and quiet and that is why we come here. The combination of these events, made for a far less enjoyable stay and we'll be re-thinking weather we can get the relaxing time we hoped for here or not.

Pros: Spacious room consisting of living room, full kitchen, loft area, 2 wood burning fireplaces and a separate bedroom. Wonderful wrap around deck. Very clean. Peaceful environment. Cons: Mattress was not comfortable for me and possibly needed replacing. Restaurant for lunch and dinner was good but limited in choice and quite expensive. (Just in case you haven't brought your own food)

It was a bit pricey, but the property was lovely, quiet, and clean. The staff were all responsive and friendly. The food and food service at the property restaurant were fantastic. My advice to travelers who need good morning coffee is to come prepared. The in-unit Kuering was awful, and there was no other coffee available on site in the morning.

While the accommodations were nice, the dining was absolutely horrible. "The Table" at the junipine resort was a waste of time and money. They only had two of the main dishes available and even those werent cooked properly. The margaritas tasted horrible. The staff at the restaurant were not attentive, you could hear the people in the kitchen arguing. The food tasted as if was frozen and not fresh. I ordered the grass fed beef dish, and the cut of beef i received was a sirloin strip that sinew in it. My wife ordered the sea bass dish and instead of sea bass recieved grouper that was raw with beans that were not cooked thoroughly. Total bill was over 150.00 for just the two of us and i was extremely disappointed and we will never go back to this restaurant again.

Such a wonderful, peaceful setting amongst the trees and along Oak Creek. It was a pleasure to sleep with doors open listening to the water flow. The unit itself was immaculate.
