Pool was very small. I believe there were 9 chairs in total to lay on. The rooms have shared seating outside the rooms so really no privacy unless you are sitting in your room. When we checked in we got a room on the 1st floor. We needed to take our luggage (lots of it) down a steep sidewalk to get there as there are no elevators. The best part of the hotels is the view and we enjoyed sitting at the restaurant listening to live music. But you can get that at most of the hotel in Sedona.

Sky Rock Sedona has beautiful views from the property. The staff and maintenance crew were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We booked our stay through Expedia, and we were disappointed to learn that some of the amenities listed were no longer accurate (no free transportation service, no refrigerator in rooms, no free continental breakfast). Bar prices are high, we paid $42 for two cocktails.

Loved the Morning meditation and yoga ! The moon was beautiful from every angle of my Room ! The location was near most of the hiking trails I came for , the food and shopping was amazing I would absolutely stay here again !!! Only down side was parking is 35$ a night not included in your room charge

Pool area needed updating. Not sure I understand why you have to pay for parking. Not the kind of place you don’t drive to. Just a terrible way to gauge guests. View was excellent and sunset amazing.

Amazing views. Rooms are average even after the renovation. They forgot to clean my room the first night. Breakfast was not good. They didn’t have live music a few nights and that was nice. Any room close to the lobby is loud w the music until 9 pm. Front desk folks were nice and accommodating. Pool is not a good location nor is it particularly nice.

I like the service at front desk during check in. The complimentary shuttle is great! We used it to get around town, it saved us the time of navigating and looking for parking. The rooms face beautiful red rocks, gorgeous!!

So disappointed in the pool. Only 9 chairs for a hotel that accommodates 100+. And no room to walk around pool. Pool looked dirty. Hot tub was dirty. The pool looked like it’s under construction. Very disappointing. I would have stayed somewhere else for the money. I want a partial refund.

My room was clean and smelled really fresh. It was also very comfortable. I found the property to be very quiet. I got great sleep each night. I had no concern about safety. Dining and shopping was just a short drive. Additionally the staff was friendly and housekeeping was excellent. I enjoyed my stay.

Door didn't have a proper door seal. Let the light in and a few bugs (stink bug and some flying ant things). The smoke detector also blinked every 10 seconds. Bed was not comfortable.

Considering the price of the room, it was disappointing to find several things in disrepair (e.g., the shower fixture, wall decor, exterior electric doors, and even the room door). It was also difficult to locate the room number, and the walls were thin enough to hear conversations from neighboring rooms. Depending on which staff member was at the front desk, the level of hospitality varied, and at times, I didn’t feel very welcomed. That said, despite these drawbacks, this hotel offered the most stunning view of Sedona out of all the places I’ve stayed. I especially enjoyed the breakfast accompanied by live music and the breathtaking mountain scenery.

The property itself was nice and had an amazing view. The rooms however were very uncomfortable due to the noise. The walls at this place are so thin I could hear the person next to me sneeze and take phone calls. In addition one morning I was woken up so early to what sounded like moving furniture at like 5 am. I called to report it to the front desk but it continued for almost an hour. I was hoping for a tranquil stay but it was lacking for sure. I had noise issues almost daily. Knowing the walls are so thin I also felt uncomfortable to do anything in the room besides sleep. I would not stay again, unfortunately. :(

We loved our stay at Sky Rock! Staff was amazing and the room and hotel in general was very clean. There were only 2 things that did not live up to our expectations. The bed was not very comfortable, lacking support with body divots on each side. Also, the room had adjoining room with a door that had no sound proofing. We heard every cough, sneeze, and word from the people staying in the adjoining room on the 2 out of 3 nights we stayed. Please consider upgrading the mattresses and somehow sound proofing the doors to enhance the experience for future patrons.

I made reservations for 3 VIEW rooms with balconies well in advance. When I arrived, I had 3 rooms no view and no balcony. There was no soap or shampoo in the rooms. When I went to the front desk the girl was less than helpful and didn't seem to care and told me I could speak to the manager at 8:00pm that they would call me. I was in the bar and at 8:00 pm I went back to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager which she said was not there. A gentleman who was in the bar serving smores stepped in and said they were sold out and he was sorry. I said I paid for 3 view rooms and if they did not have them I should get a refund. They gave me points through bonvoy. The next day they moved 2 of our rooms to view rooms. He tried and I am grateful for that but not a great experience. The hotel has amazing views and a great bar with great bands.

Booked a King room with a patio that was supposed to have a view of Sedona. When arrived they only had a Queen room, no patio, and the one window had a view of the parking lot. The front desk receptionist was friendly but blamed it on booking with a third party and could not provide the room I reserved and offered 35$ off for parking. She also was to add Marriott Bonvoy points but as of now nothing has been added. The room was nice but not at the price I paid for a king with a view, almost a bait and switch when you booked the best and provided entry level for the same price.

Multiple complaints but the biggest issue we had was around an unanticipated charge for parking. It clearly states on the Hotels.com description is “free parking”, upon checking in no mention of charges for parking was made. Upon receiving my bill, we were charged $35/day for parking. Other more minor inconveniences: Rooms did not have a microwave, a pretty standard convenience. Our door handle was malfunctioning and obviously needed replacement. And finally, the rooms don’t really face the right direction to enjoy the view. The Mountain View rooms have their front door facing the mountains which means they only have a small window near the entry way that has a view. The issue is that you can’t really keep this window open because of the shared walkway and the constant foot traffic. Because of the way the hotel is built, most Mountain View rooms share this trait. Finally, if you have heavy luggage, good luck getting it to your room on the first or second levels. No elevators here. You have to lug them down stairs to the rooms in this three level hotel.

Check-in took almost an hour. They said they were "in transition" and long story short gave us a room upgrade because of the long wait and difficulty in obtaining a room. Breakfast of avocado toast consisted of a tiny smear of avocado on soggy toast covered with greens that were a day old or older. During breakfast, staff vacuumed the area near us and left a dusty cloud for several minutes. Why? It was the busiest time of morning. Except for one lady, staff was not friendly (especially the bartender), and didn't seem very well trained. Customer service at this resort is a problem. Views of Sedona red rock cliffs were superior, but not worth the experience we had.

Loved the property- location, gorgeous lobby with amethyst wall, great staff- Molly, Austin and Maureen! Live music in lobby with a great singer! Deck views are gorgeous! Rooms are clean and spacious with great views! The only negative was our AC unit. Super noisy, like a plane at take off, and it cycled on and off all night- we did call the front desk, maintenance person arrived immediately. He set the unit to cool properly, but the noise was not something he could control. Upon check out we chatted with Austin, Asst. Manager, he comped a charge on our invoice in apology, and said they have the unit serviced or replaced. He also gave us his business card and asked us to call him personally when we returned! My husband and I visited Sedona to celebrate our wedding anniversary and selected SkyRock Sedona for our hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Molly and immediately felt at home. Molly was so warm and accommodating from the jump — congratulating us on our anniversary, providing us with helpful insight / recommendations for off the beaten path experiences, and continued to add several special touches throughout our stay. Come nightfall, the desk was managed by Cali — another exceptional employee of SkyRock. A local to the area, Cali had great ideas for our next adventure and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The positive vibes didn’t stop there — from Braden + JJ at the bar to Cheryl (whom, by the way, makes THE best guac) and Cheryl throughout the facilities making sure fires were lit, pillows were fluffed, and our every need was met (no request too big or small). We reference all these exceptional individuals by name because by the end of our stay, they felt like close friends we had known long before we arrived to Sedona. This level of exceptional service complemented the stunning 360* views of the red rocks (we recommend the sunrise side) and we highly recommend this hotel for individuals, couples, and families alike looking to take in the breathtaking scenery. What an amazing experience at this resort! I must mention JJ, the bartender, and Keele at the guest desk. Both of them made me want to return. After a tiring 3.5-hour drive from Phoenix, I expressed my frustration and exhaustion to Keele. She empathetically listened and provided me with a free parking pass for my stay along with a complimentary drink, all accompanied by a warm smile—a wonderful start to the trip. Braden, whom I met at the bar the first night, somehow remembered it was my 60th birthday two days later, even though I hadn't mentioned it again. He was fantastic. Having frequented bars for many decades, JJ stood out as the bartender I want to visit again. Despite my nightly indulgence, she was attentive, efficient, and polite not only with me but with everyone. Despite her busy schedule ensuring every guest had an awesome experience, she kept the bar and tables spotless, yet always gave the impression of undivided attention. Her exceptional service alone makes the resort worth visiting. Beyond the staff, the breathtaking view of the red rocks from the deck, combined with the nightly and morning music, makes this place truly special. I can't wait to return. Special thanks to the morning lady and young Hispanic man who provided great service each morning before 7am!. JJ and Keele have me eager to return ASAP

We generally liked this place. The $35 a night for parking wasn’t made clear. The staff at the desk was kind of snarky and not helpful with things to or places to eat. They basically handed us a map. Highly recommended WEST SEDONA. Uptown is busy. Food reservations are a must! Overall a good stay at Sky Rock.

Horrible rude mgmt. Arrived without working phone /TV.Managervrude would not address. We wanted a refund and go to a much nicer Sedona property for less but they refused. We left 1.5 days early and they even charged us for overnite parking when we checked out. Horrible place. I will let everyone know..as we are big LA travelers Room was suppose to have a view..

Rita M. was the front desk manager when we checked in for our anniversary. We were given a room that was completely different than the description online. She could have cared less. She argued with us till midnight. We ended up having to leave the property and go somewhere else. Horrific experience . DO NOT STAY HERE.

Upon arrival, the hotel was over booked and we were down graded from a king view room to one without with two queen beds. We requested twice the front desk look into some type of compensation. They referred us to the manager. Over our three day stay the manager did not have the courtesy to contact us at all. We are still waiting.

The hotel has wonderful views of the famous Sedona red rocks. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Live entertainment almost daily was also a nice touch. The biggest downfall is the food. They advertise a restaurant, but it is just a bar with food. The menu is good, but the food itself is not and the wait time is exorbitant.

Nice hotel but a little over priced. Parking is 35.00 a night and breakfast is extra. Small buffet, no real restaurant on site. Views are amazing. Think you can get better value to your money elsewhere…just my view.

I was very happy with our experience. The room was comfortable and clean. I did not have any noise complaints and we stayed Friday-Sunday. We enjoyed the live music and the cold drinks from the bar as well as the scenic view. It was a wonderful experience and we will stay here again. My only complaint were that the drinks were overpriced.

Great property! The bar/restaurant area has a great view and services up a great breakfast with complimentary coffee. Rooms were clean and spacious snd also had great views. They were also kind enough to offer me a late check out at no cost. I’d recommend and I would book again!

The hotel is lovely and excellent value. The breakfast choices are limited and bland, but the Coffee Pot restaurant is a 5-minute drive and very reasonably priced. So this isn’t an issue. The rooms are nice. The picture I posted is of just outside our room. The staff are very helpful and nice. I’d come back
