Nice property with traditional desert decor. Great cactuses and vegetation. Tasty restaurant and several pools. Some updates could be made to the gym. Some staff was great like the wait staff at the restaurant but others were lot great like the gal who works at the coffee bar. Up in the foothills so it feels a little more Scottsdale than downtown Tucson.

The property was amazing and very quiet/peaceful. The restaurant has good food, however it’s a little over priced. The drinks were ok. Pickle ball was fun, all pools were super clean, towels were always available

We had a great Memorial Day trip. The only hiccup was during check-in. Check in is at 4pm and we arrived at 5pm. Our room was not ready and we were asked to wait for it to be cleaned and inspected. The pool areas were fun for the kids. However, multiple umbrellas were broken and the pool was dirty Saturday night. Of course many people were swimming as it was a holiday weekend, but we had to ask for towels and the staff seemed to be lacking in numbers to properly maintain the pool areas and dining.

Property is amazing and has tons of amenities like multiple pools, tennis courts, walking trails, even horseback riding (just to name a few). Staff was courteous. Our room was much better than we expected. This is a great place for a family or other type of retreat.

What a cool place! Great views day and night, clean grounds and rooms, unique landscape with nature trail. Loved the pools and gardens! Great location that felt far out of town but was close to everything. Dining room could use updating but the food was good. Getting around is a bit confusing at first but you get used to it quickly. Would come back and stay here again!

A very nice resort. Spacious room, very good restaurant on site with many options nearby. Several hot tubs and pools also on site, plus tennis and ball courts. Also horseback riding. As resorts go, good value for the money.

Overall the property is older but kept up pretty well. There were several pieces of small trash in front of the entryway of the 6 unit complex that housekeeping let stay for 4 days. Also, there was a hand towel on the ground just off our balcony that I told a grounds person about but nothing was done. Appears they are short staffed.

I always stay at this wonderful hotel but this last stay was a little disappointing. The balcony was very dirty and the pool was so gross and full of black flys and bugs. Hopefully, this was a one time occurrence. Every other time it’s been amazing!

Dead insect (baby cockroaches in bathroom), Hair on floor. Dirty sheets. Found late in evening. My last stay also found bathroom dirty but I brushed it off off as a “one time thing”. Back to this stay; One phone in room does not work. Does not matter much but in a panic it may matter to someone who may need assistance. For the price, I expect a room in full working order, clean room, bathroom, bed. The food was good. Not sure I’d be back a 3rd time. Will see what management does to rectify. Changing rooms does not rectify the situation. Every room on the market; every time, should be “show ready” for the price. Families with kids who crawl around/barefoot or animals should consider staying elsewhere or inspect the room thoroughly before having free-range or settling in and letting guard down.

The room was spotless; guest services brought us to our room in a golf cart so that we didn’t have to tote our luggage; we were able to upgrade our stay to the Stargazer suite and really enjoyed the private hot tub; the patio seating at the restaurant/bar was amazing - we sat by the fire pit while enjoying our drinks all while overlooking the city of Tucson.

Property was OK, it showed its age, rooms were good, but the carpet was very dirty. I had to go back to Lobby several times because my key wouldn't work, I requested a Maintenance man on the third try. Food was average had the carne asada tacos.

The property had the potential to be beautiful, but there was trash all around our door and steps. The bed was supposed to be a king sized bed and it was a queen. There were termite tubes hanging from the ceiling in the restroom.

Our room was dirty when we arrived and we had to ask multiple times for our bathroom floor to be cleaned and they never adequately did. I accidentally stepped on an Asian cockroach enough to stun it and trapped it under a drinking glass until staff could remove it. They never apologized or accommodated the inconvenience and we still had one more night to stay, so we were diligent about our luggage so we wouldn’t take a friend home with us. The property and grounds were pretty and we enjoyed walking them in the evening. Great views of the sunset. Front desk staff was excellent arriving and checking out.

Cute set up- but did sort of feel like you are in an apartment complex. Rooms have potential but a little worn. Odd things were missing in the room- no trash can in the bathroom, no blow dryer and no iron but had an ironing board! It was a nice stay but far from grand.

We return to Tucson from UK often and have stayed in most of the large resorts but this turned out to be, by far, our favourite It was reasonably quiet being out of the busy season, but perfect for us. Rooms were spacious and beautifully clean, a special mention for the pillows which we wanted to take home with us they were so comfortable. The staff were friendly cheerful and always attentive. We felt well looked after and rested when we left. We didn’t find one thing to ‘complain’ about very unusual as we are hoteliers ourselves.

The ac didn't work in the first room we had and it was 86 degrees. After sending maintenance he said the room would cool when the sun went down! They finally moved our room and the next room the ac worked fine. Areas of the room was worn, paint scratched up on the woodwork and coffee tables, limited usb ports. Pool area at the main pool was nice. Beautiful landscape

Great stay, great room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Only things that were disappointing were that the sugar/creamer were wet or moist, so we opted not to use them. Plus, the adjoining door to the room next to us was paper thin. The people next to us blasted their TV until after midnight, which was extremely disrespectful and annoying.

It was a beautiful setting and good location for accessing hiking trails, dining, shopping etc. The property itself in general is a little worn around the edges, but the views in the outdoor spaces were beautiful so it helped. Our room was well decorated , clean, and very spacious. Overall it was positive.

Beautiful property, professional, friendly staff, room was lovely. Only complaint is the how much the floors squeaked in the room above us waking us up late at night when those guests moved around. At checkout the agent said they would try to get us in an upper room next time. That doesn’t really solve the problem for other guests.

Barbara Soto and her staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Every single staff member we encountered during our stay was extremely professional and a pleasure to speak with. Westward Look is a beautiful old school resort that had recently been remodeled. We had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious, and there are tons of really fun things to do in Tucson. We spent the day taking the tram up Sabino Canyon.

We encountered an issue our first night ever staying here. We had 2 hungry kids and ordered room service. We were told that it would be 40 minutes before we got it. We accepted that and after about 45 minutes called again and was told ohh I estimated the time wrong it will be another 15 min. Not very happy we decided to wait. Then 5 min later got a call back stating our order never got put in. Upset and very frustrated we asked to speak to the manager who was absolutely amazing, and stated he would have it right to the room and apologized for the inconvenience and offered to comp our meal. Once the order got there we were missing one and a dessert wasnt correct so we called back and he again rushed it right over and added in an additional dessert. Mario the food and beverage manager went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and happy with our stay. It was our anniversary the next day and we dined in at the restuarant and they brought is some champagne to celebrate. Overall, highly reccomend staying here. Most of the staff is very polite and accomadating. The room was clean and spacious with amazing views all over the property. We are from Tucson and had never stayed here but will definitely be back.

She was such a pleasure to talk with, and it's clearly evident that she takes pride in her job and goes out of her way to treat people with kindness and respect. We have stayed at the Westward Look several times….we have always enjoyed our stay until this time (March 11th)! We arrived about 10:00 pm (my in-laws passed away just 3 months apart & they were retired in Southern AZ)…after finishing up with last minute “things” at my in-laws house we headed to Westward Look to check in for the evening and it was easy & our room was clean and it appeared that it had new carpet! The bathroom was huge and we had a great view! We both wanted to sleep in for a bit…but, that changed fairly quickly! We heard our room opening and it was house keeping (about 8:40 am)… then about 30 minutes they tried again! I called the front desk to verify check out was still 11! Check out is @11 and not 9:00am We made sure to get out by 9:45!

Location was off the main roads by about a mile, which made it quiet. It is elevated which provides some amazing views for sunrises, sunsets, and nighttime lights. Very large spacious room.

Great spacious room with a very comfortable bed and easy parking. Nice grounds and the lobby oozes charm. However their food service is just awful. We had room service and mysteriously were delivered some terrible tomato soup instead of French fries with our sandwich and the soup was about two tablespoons full. Odd. Breakfast in the restaurant was nearly inedible. Too bad, because the restaurant is really charming too with a great view. I’d definitely stay here again but I would eat elsewhere.

1st impression very nice. Our room was clean and smelled good. The view was great at night from our balcony. Very quiet on this property. Plan your visit to eat at local dining not at their Lookout Grille. Disappointed in the quality of food. Also, if you want coffee delivered be ready to pay almost $25, not including our tip.

The resort offers a beautiful, relaxed environment with all the services and amenities needed to comfortably hang out and relax for the day. Rooms are spacious, attractive, and typically come with a patio/balcony with nice views. The staff is incredible, couldn’t ask for a better service experience. Had a pleasant staycation in a beautiful, comfortable environment. Restaurant had limited choices for lunch and dinner, but there are all kinds of restaurants nearby. Had great breakfasts there every day.
