The hot morning breakfast was not gourmet but definitely adequate and above what other hotels in the area offer. Biscuits, gravy, potatoes, makd your own waffles, cereals and toast. Pool and hot tub area was clean and not crowded. Staff were all friendly with every interaction.

Older hotel, but everything is kept up. The pool is wonderful. Wish the mattresses were softer but that’s my preference. Breakfast was good. Parking was no problem. Staff was amazing.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very very helpful. The breakfast was nice. The only downside was that our stay coincided with football and so there were lots and lots of young boys in the pool late at night. But we still had a wonderful time. Their hot tub and pool were clean And relaxing after a nice day at the beach.

I’ve been to the Seabird many times over the years. The staff are friendly and responsive. It’s clean and quiet. I especially enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub. This last visit the pool and hot tub were closed daily from 10 to 3 for maintenance. If you looked through the window there was never any maintenance going on that I could see. I was disappointed. The pools should be made available; that’s the main reason we go there.

Front desk staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect for my needs. Besides that, the room itself was... questionable. The bedsheets, the blankets, and one towel had some sort of stain on them. The bathroom was clean except for the black mold on the ceiling. The walls are paper-thin, so we could hear the family next door and whenever someone was walking above us. I thought it was really helpful to be able to text the front desk, so when I realized we did not have a 'do not disturb sign,' I let them know we did not want room cleaning during our stay. Even though I did get a confirmation next, we had someone come in every day. It was a little odd because they wouldn't clean everything, but would do things that made it obvious someone had come in. That made me a little uncomfortable. I do hope they update some details of their rooms, because I did think the price, location, and workers were very nice.

We were given a room farthest from the office with a strong and unbearable chemical smell. It also appeared to be the only room where the door opened directly to the open street on the back of the building. One had to walk around the building to get to it from the parking lot. The place was nearly empty and we could not understand why they place us there. We complained and were given a room close to the office. The hotel was nearly empty. There was no reason to place us where they did initially. I am certain no one would like to stay in a room that appears unsafe, where any person walking down the sidewalk has direct and immediate access to your bedroom door. No fence or separation from the street traffic.

This hotel should be condemned. My room was crawling with bed bugs — I woke up covered in bites. Management shrugged it off like it was nothing, offering no apology, no refund, not even a change of room. The sheets were stained, the furniture smelled, and the overall filth was staggering. To charge guests to sleep in an insect-infested room is beyond unacceptable — it’s negligent and dangerous. If your health and sanity matter to you, avoid this place like the plague.

Do not stay at Seabird! The staff was rude and very disrespectful inconsiderate! I was laying in bed it was around 10pm when I noticed a bed bug crawling on the pillow case! Once I called front desk to let them know of the bug situation the employee was nice about it and wanted to give us another room, shift changed and I get a phone call they refunded me and told me I had 30 mins to leave. At this point my kids are sleeping. The guy wouldn’t give me his name and threatened to call the cops if I didn’t bring him keys and leave premises. Thankfully Expedia gave us a refund right away.

Overall this lodging was average. The room was clean. The room we were in needs updated. The mattress was terrible and sagging. No AC, old heating unit. Room did get a tad stuffy at night and your by the main road.

The beds were not very comfortable. The mattresses were not soft at all, breakfast was ok but the hours for breakfast was 6-8:30am a little early ending. It is pretty close to everything which is nice. The place is cozy and good for a short stay.

It is a roadside motel in a cute area. The doors are a bit tatty and the walls are very thin, but it served its purpose. The main issue was that we booked a Queen bed and what we got was smaller. It was a full by US standards at most. When I flagged this with 2 different staff members I was told it was double, then it might not be a real Queen (not sure what that means). Apparently this wasnt passed on to anyone so when I contacted Expedia there was no luck in refunding the difference between the cost of a double and what we paid for.

The room is nice. I thought the bed was OK. My wife did not like the bed. We also heard a lot of noise vibrating sounds that kept us awake at night and we were facing highway one so we heard all the road noise and trucks. In the front. We heard a chipper chipping wood on our last day from the back.

The rooms are pretty big, the beds are comfy, lots of parking and I let the hotel know that we would be arriving late, she said no problem the office will be closed, but she notified the night person to expect us late. Check in was easy.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast had good options, the room was very clean, and it had everything I needed: a microwave, refrigerator, even a fan! I liked the pillows and the slanted headboard. There’s nothing fancy about this place, but it had everything I needed and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

The hotel staff was amazing John at the front desk and the young man that greeted us when we first got there. John took care of the front desk and made sure everyone had what they needed for the breakfast 😋 very nice young man. Very animal friendly. Our smoke detector went off because it had a low battery. My daughter has Grand malseizures. I called The front desk at 5:30 in the morning. He was there by 5:35. We also have a marvelous view in the king size bed upstairs 221 corner room Also a very nice indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The people in fort Bragg are wonderful!!

Hotel recepționer lady from the afternoon when we arrived was very nice and same for the lady when we left in the morning. Additionally, the TV we were not sure how the remote works and maintenance gentleman was very helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Very nice pool indoor for a hotel relatively not expensive! Definitely we will stay here again!

The good: friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was pretty comfortable. Everything is old but ok. The bad. The TV came on several times throughout the night. The remote was left on the dresser so it wasn’t like someone turned it on accidentally. I was taking a shower and all of a sudden the wster stopped flowing. It took a few minutes before it came on again. The ugly: We locked ourselves out of our room at night. I walked over to the office and the very friendly night clerk asked me what room number I was in then proceeded to activate another key card. I wasn’t even asked for my name, let alone to show ID. I was very uncomfortable that anyone could have claimed to be in my room and would have been able to get access to it. I won’t be coming back.

When I asked about an early check in, the Hispanic female was very short and bordered on rude when she said to “come back at 3 but I make no promise since check in is at 4”. There was not more than 3 cars in the parking lot and this was at 1 pm. When we returned, there was a new lady at the front counter, a white woman who was incredibly pleasant and friendly. She has a couple of children currently playing baseball. Anyway, she was awesome. Full of information and helpful and just friendly all around. The area is a little rough. Shady people all around. The neighbors to our room were up all night smoking weed with their small children in the room but other than those things, it was a good stay

Our stay at Seabirds Lodge was comfortable. The place’s clean and the staff were friendly. Although the room is adequate, it could use some updating. I would definitely consider staying here again when I’m in the area. I actually chose this place because of their pet friendly policy. I wish they have more area for dogs. Their free continental breakfast is from 630am to 830am. Only 2 hour window and very early at that. The food though was decent.

Nice and clean, comfortable bed, Just one down , hotel advertised continental breakfast 6.30-830 am, wheat I came 7.50 everything was gone even coffee, other guests are surprised too and not happy, we asked the concierge and answer was we out it eggs( c’mon out off eggs an cooked sausages that need to warm up, coffee to. If advertised please deliver. (People choosing hotel with breakfast for convenience)

Very friendly and helpful staff! Check-in was fast and easy. Check-out was even easier. Good hot breakfast with waffles! We'll stay there again. Other family members intend to stay there on future visits instead of the last hotel they used.

It is quite pricey, and the apple juice they served at breakfast was watered down. There was no waffle dough available either. They asked us to check in online by uploading our passports, selfies, and credit card numbers, which I don’t understand. I’ve never seen a hotel do this, and it could easily be done when we actually check in. If possible, I would suggest skipping Fort Bragg.

The breakfast could easily be improved. The sausage was fine, and they had some small homemade muffins which were good, but eggs and coffee were flavorless and cold. Would be nice to have one or two stands to store luggage.

Easy, quiet transition and good amenities. The only issue I had was the cold potatoes and eggs in the warmer. The lady said we start shuting things down, or wouldn't get new food or warm it back up. It wasn't closing time for breakfast. Management needs some improvement for that. Other than that, it was a great stay!
