We once came and there was no parking so the front desk said to park in the handicap This was not walking distance to any food or grocery, so we had to make sure we got whatever we needed before going back to room at end of night.

Good but tight parking, especially for a 3/4ton truck. Amazingly pet friendly! Have us a very sweet goodie bag for the dog. Nice big clean rooms with a homey feel. Great views and value!

Nice balcony overlooking estuary and waterfowl. Convenient location at north end of town with easy drive to restaurants and downtown core. Excellent room. Parking is a bit cramped on the narrow lot, but adequate.

Very disapointed with: (1) Property Internet server blocked my access to Contra Costa Food Bank, most likely somone inexpericed IT novice put restricition on the server to block gaming sites etc and but affected legitimate sites. They should state in their hotel ammenites that they offer "limited" internet. I would have not booked this properity if this was disclosed when booking. I never had this issue with other hospitality venues. I will not go back. (2) Paking is limited and difficult to exit without multiple turns, recommend they restict large trucks NOT to park on lower levels where cars have to turn around to exit.

Check in was easy. The room was large and clean and we had a nice view from balcony. Our only complaint is lack of parking one night and we would have liked more towel bars, rings or hooks to hang bath and hand towels. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location with the estuary right out back and viewable from some rooms. We loved that the rooms are divided among separate buildings, making it seem more homey and quiet. Our room was very clean and modern, nothing outdated, with all the amenities we needed for a weekend trip. The only downside was that parking is very limited, especially when coming back to your room in the evening when everyone else is. Also, although the showers are wonderful, the water pressure was lacking and it took quite awhile to rinse my long hair.

The staff was very kind but cleanliness was lacking. Walking up to our room the hallway rug and stairs were filthy. Looked like halls hadn't been vacuumed in months. Opening the door to our room we were hit with the most pungent smell of BO. The room smelled terribly. The bed headboards were visibly slimy with head marks. It was pretty hard to stomach. Then the noise. There was another hotel room below us with men screaming all night long. From 11 pm until they finally quieted at 5:30 am. We could not sleep a wink. It's not our job to confront other guests so we suffered through the screaming but we really wish the hotel staff had intervened with the guests who kept everyone else awake. And provided us a more hygienic stay.

I was honestly disappointed with the Beach House Inn. We stayed 1 night. For the price, the cleanliness wasn't what I expected at all. There was black mold in the shower grout, coffee marks & makeup marks on the bathroom counter which meant the counter obviously hadn't been wiped/cleaned appropriately, & under the sheets on the beds there was a ton of black/brown-ish speckles & chunks! No idea what they were, but I hope to god they werent bed bugs! The internet kept going out for a couple hours at a time on all our devices in our room. The front desk staff (as polite as they were!) said they "haven't had any problems", but also have no access to reset the router for their guests, which boggled my mind! One more thing to mention: there is a significantly big gap under the entrance door to your room - with the fact your door is facing an indoor hallway that you share with 4 other rooms, don't expect a lot of privacy from noise. The door also doesn't have a secondary lock for security. The patio slider door also doesn't have a wedge lock if you open the door at night for a little breeze (on top of having no AC or fan in the room, especially on Summer nights!!). The screen slider door had no lock whatsoever. Overall, I'd try my luck elsewhere, especially if staying more than 1 night!

The building itself is what drew us in. Clean, coastal, smoky grey…attractive. The inside was another story. It was dated. There was a strong offensive odor. Carpet? Wallpaper? Drapes? I don’t know. The bathroom had beige towels and horrible dispensers. No AC. Couldn’t leave the window open because it was near the street. Loud! Staff was friendly.

The view was nice and the staff on check in was really friendly. Room had a strong perfume snell we couldn’t get aired out. There wasn’t any noise barrier you could hear everything especially if you are on the bottom floor you can loudly hear the people above you. Wifi barely work and neither did the cable tv. When I called to get it looked it I was asked to unplug and plug it back in and if that didn’t work then they didn’t know what could be done. Good for a quick stay but I’m sure there are better places in the area. Not worth the money

It was a very solid place to stay for our honeymoon with only three very small complaints - beds were springy and uncomfortable at times, you could hear your neighboring rooms quite well (however everyone seemed respectful of sleeping hours), and the wifi was nearly non-existent so we had to use our phone data quite a bit... however, we had a blast! It's walking distance to nearly everything in town and a very easy place to check in/check out. The few employees we saw were nice, but I like that it was like our own mini condo away from home. Also, loved seeing the ducks on the estuary

The Hotel was beautiful, clean and conveniently located. The beds were hard...could have been a bit softer. The woman that checked us in was not too friendly. When we asked about a good restaurant, she said that they were all good. When we asked about glass beach or any other questions about the town, she was short with us. A friendlier greeting would have pushed you closer to 5 stars.

This was a great hotel stay- the bed was comfortable, we had our own balcony, and we got a special bag for our pup, that included a sheet to put down on the bed for her, some treats, and some poop bags. Very thoughtful! We were also given a huge list of local restaurants, with favorites and dog-friendly places noted. It was easily walkable (~15 minutes) to Glass Beach and to the nice trestle bridge walking path. Very clean room. The staff were all very nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

The only reason I gave cleanliness a 3 is because house keeping doesn’t clean the room during your stay. I prefer places that offer daily housekeeping service. The front office staff was very friendly and even offered a few dining recommendations during our stay with them. The mattresses in our room could use some updating due to a bit of sagging in the middle of the bed as I’m sure they have a busy location. Other than that the stay was pleasant

Thought we’d give this place a try on our annual trip to the ocean side town of Ft Bragg and we really liked it. There was a fair bit of road noise, but you got used to that pretty quickly and that’s not the property’s fault. EVERY staff member we interacted with, was incredibly nice and super helpful. The rooms were large (there was three of us), the beds were comfortable, the showers hot with good water pressure and it was a genuine surprise to find somewhere like this, for such a reasonable price. We’ve stayed in some complete dumps in this town but this was a nice surprise and well worth the price (which was actually really good). We will absolutely be return guests.

Everything was excellent stay wise for our family and dog. The literal only negative was the young chick working in the mornings … she was rude the day we showed up and rude the days we left. The lady working evening was amazing, polite and helpful. I wish I’d have remembered their names

We were surprised by how much we enjoyed this hotel. The balconies that overlooked the estuary were lovely for enjoying morning coffee. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was great having access to a bbq to make dinner. The coffee that is available at the front desk during office hours was good. . It was a short walk to the beach. Definitely recommend walking across the footbridge that was formerly a train trestle to see some spectacular views of the ocean.
