Motel 6 Fort Bragg, CA

Great!

No maid service. Dirty tub. Leaky toilet. This place sucks.

Property was in final stages of renovation. So, outside was some issue. However, the rooms were updated and nice. Great value.

This hotel is nothing like the picture shown in the ad. I have stayed at Motel 6’s before, but this one was really bad. The room I stayed in was very rundown, and had a clearly dirty vinyl floor. The bathroom was in terrible condition. The room had clearly been smoked in quite a bit, and it just reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The windows did not open, and the inside air conditioner was louder than a Mac truck so I really couldn’t use it and sleep. I did not sleep well, and got up early and left as soon as I was rested enough to drive. I am hoping that they do some work on this hotel. It was really an unfortunate and depressing experience for me.

Room was not very clean. Floors were dirty, visible dirt on the walls. No coffee in room. When I arrived the room smelled like an ash tray and found the smoke detector in the fridge. They came and sprayed the room, replaced the smoke detector and replaced the fridge that wasn’t working. They also do not supply any shampoo or conditioner so come prepared. The employees were friendly and helpful. However I won’t be staying there again until the renovations are done.
