Good size suite with all amenities as expected. Only issue is hotel doesn't have a separate gym and must use the gym of Sonesta Hotel which is quite a distance away.

When we arrived we were hit with a 10-dollar-a-day parking fee. they had cars in the parking lot that had cobwebs on them. The noise was a bit much for the price we paid. there was not room cleaning service! we stayed for 14 days and had to hunt down the cleaning folks to get clean towels. I would not recommend this site to anyone. I have stayed at other properties and they were much better run. The folks at the front desk were slow to get things fixed the phone did not work. the internet was so spotty it was almost unusable and when we asked the front desk they said we should move up to the conference room where the signal was better.

We stayed for 4 nights. The room was nice. Clean. Parking was excellent, although it does cost an extra $10 a night that will deduct from your deposit. Overall a great stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and basketball area. The hotel is right off the freeway so very convenient location. And only about a 15 minute drive to Huntington Beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again.

The outside of the property was very nice, enjoyed the fire pit, and basketball court very much. It was nice to have laundry available. The rest was just very average. Nothing blew me away, it’s pretty loud from the highway being right there but, that wouldn’t prevent me from staying there. The wifi, however is terrible.

Perfect for 9 day stay with another family for softball tournament. The only thing is the hot tub and pool were dirty and would recommend they upgrade washer and dryer to be able to use an app or card rather than coins

I was a little nervous based on how mixed the reviews were, BUT oh how pleasantly surprised we were. This place is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I REALLY appreciated the king size fluffy pillows. Some hotels have those terrible throw pillow size pillows but these were perfect. The staff is friendly and so helpful. The breakfast was good. When we were there they had scrambled eggs. Sausage, bacon, yogurt, cereal, bagles, english muffins, toast and pastry muffins. Oh if traveling with kids, they will LOVE the pancake machine! There were even sprinkles. One suggestion regarding the property would be to power wash the stairs to the rooms. They are pretty dirty and imo it hurts your curb appeal. We will definately stay here again!

This property is multiple two story buildings (apartment style) without elevators. This information is not on the listing and which seems like Hotels.com issue. When I informed the front desk clerk that I had to have a first floor room he was put out and told me, "I'll see what I can do". We were preparing for a funeral and had multiple boxes, suitcases,etc and could not haul these items up stairs. He then acted like he did me a favor by "finding" a first floor room. The room itself was roomy which was nice. It was relatively clean but I think the age of the building made it feel not clean. The tub/shower combo was not clean, with marks around the drain. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having a full size refrigerator. Overall, the location is nice but I would not stay here again.

Impressed by the pictures, I decided to book. Really expensive but I thought it would be worth it. As we were putting our luggage away my daughter screamed from a spider in the restroom floor. I killed it no big deal. My wife was getting ready to shower in the other bathroom and it was full of ants by the tub. I called the front desk they refused to change us rooms and sent maintenance. He killed the ants with half a bottle of raid and sprayed the other bathroom were the spider was found. Now the whole room is smelling like pesticide and everyone is coughing. Next day in the afternoon another spider is killed in the kids room. Last day on our drive back to Texas my son is complaining about being itchy. I check him and his whole body is full of red bites! BED BUGS! I travel 80% of the year for work and never encountered this problem before. Its ridiculous. Even without the bugs this hotel is not worth the price! It is old and you can tell they don't mantain it. RIDICULOUS. First time at a Sonesta and last. NEVER AGAIN

The room was very comfortable and clean. The only complaint is dirty entry and upon entering the suite it smelled mildewy. We sprayed with disfectant. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the outside stop. I would rent again for the price.

Upon entering our room there were dead sewer roaches on the floor! The front desk came and removed them. Our thermostat was locked so the room was so hot in the night and we came home late to no parking spots available both nights! Our bathroom smelled like sewer in the mornings. The front desk was great but I would never stay here again! After the cockroaches we couldn’t imagine eating the breakfast!

The room is outdated and smells. I found five cockroaches in the kitchen, some crawling out of the garbage disposal, some in the dishwasher and one dead on the kitchen floor. The mattress on the king-size bed was caved in, in the middle, and the pillows were very flat. Spiders in the room and outside. The outside property is not kept up. Pullout couch sofa mattress is paper, thin. No room service unless you're there for longer than 5 nights, which is terrible. I was there Tuesday-Sunday and needed new bedding. Only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the spa and pool is nice and the breakfast in the morning is good. The breakfast hours are terrible though breakfast stops being served at 9 AM.

Dated rooms but clean, spacious, well equipped. The bed is quite comfortable. Wi-Fi is sometimes slow, have to sign in every 24 hrs but overall we were satisfied. Highly recommend. PS We were in block 8 with interior view, very quiet we got good sleep even we are light sleepers.

The suite was a good size and was comfortable for the three nights we were there. Our room was very close to the freeway, so it was very noisy, and we were not able to sleep the first night. I spilled some water on the kitchen floor and when I wiped it up the floor was very dirty. They do hold a $250 deposit, so we had to make sure that if we noticed any flaws or minor damage in the room to report it to them. We did notice burn marks on the carpeting in the bathroom sink area and we had problems with the hair dryer not working in the bathroom socket.

The service was great, and for a discount hotel, it's fine, but it is NOISY with the freeway noise just outside the window, and the sofa bed was absolutely horrific. My daughter slept on the floor instead. If you have earplugs and only need the real bed, you'll be fine. The jacuzzi was definitely a plus!

The room was really big and spacious! We had such a low rate we weren’t expecting such a great room. Although the sofa bed was on the smaller side , we thought overall it was a great hotel to stay at. Plus the continental breakfast was really good. If you're booking through hotels.com to stay at Sonesta, it is not an easy transaction. Staff was not friendly or willing to help us when there was some confusion about the one night day payment from hotels.com. Sonesta said that they've had problems with their system with Dave through hotels.com for over a month. I've never had any issue with hotels.com and we use them quite a bit. I think it is a problem with this facility. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Extremely rude midnight employee called us down for talking. We had been there all week and not caused any problems and kept to ourselves. One evening we were a little loud not realizing it, and he walked over to us and was extremely rude and hateful. Honestly have never had anyone act that way while staying at a hotel. All other employees were great. This man was working August 1st evening. If he had walked over and nicely asked us to be quiet we would've just gone to our rooms, it was very unprofessional and I doubt we stay here again,

Great location right off the I405. Anything we asked for was provided to us. Ground floor, extra towels, extra linens... Great staff. Grounds were nice with the exception of the dog owners that refused to clean up after their animals. Beautiful flowers littered the property. Great hot breakfast every morning. No complaints at all.

A long weekend stay to visit son and see a pro beach VB tournament in Huntington Beach. The room/suite was spacious, bed comfortable, enough amenities for our stay and breakfast every morning. What more could we ask for! The hotel was in a great location. We were about 15 mins away from the beach and minutes away from Seal Beach downtown area. It was great. Would definitely stay there again!

Good place to stay. It is close to beach. The drive is just minutes away. Good breakfast included. Would have been nice to see some different choices for breakfast. Change it up, same stuff everyday not so good. Dining area a little small for all the units they have, the same for the pool. Basketball court was cool. First time I see something like that. The bbq and fire pit area was a plus. Cornhole game was a good addition. Overall its was a good place. I recommend.

The room was clean, breakfast was good and ready early. My only issue was that I booked a king bed with a full pull out sofa and we were given a queen with a small pull out sofa. It was one night for us so we didn’t bother to try and change rooms.

We've stayed here before and plan to come back next year as well! We had an awesome stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful and everything was clean and in great condition. Breakfast was great and they always had everything available with little time between running out and restocking. The once a week service was extremely thorough! The only issue we had was having to get a new key card a few times when they stopped working, but the staff was very kind about it and made it a quick switch.

We were there for 3 nights. Breakfast selection is the same everyday. We got up for breakfast at 810 and some items are gone. Asked the breakfast lady about it. She says they are not replenishing anything once the breakfast items are gone. That’s not really a fair way to handle breakfast. Also, the items are exactly the same three days in a row. The other Sonesta ES suite I just checked out at least give an effort to give more variety but this one doesn’t.

This hotel was a perfect fit for our travel needs. The room was spacious and clean. Biggest wins-a dog-friendly hotel and the hot breakfast each morning. The only negatives were traffic sounds, as our room was situated near the highway, and the extreme discomfort of the sofa bed. When I brought the issue of the sofa bed to the gentleman at the front desk, he tried to come up with a solution but to no avail. I appreciated his effort, but thought maybe it's an issue corporate needed to be aware of. The mattress is so thin that our daughter could feel the metal frame under her. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
