Didn’t get promised parking credit. Staff was excellent. Bed and hot water excellent. Towels rough. Soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers hard to operate. TV/Wifi good. Restaurant good. Convenient to freeway and West Side shops and restaurants. Elevators a bit slow. Parking $40. Their Circle Club doesn’t apply to Expedia reservations. Swimming pool area needs more chairs.

Amazing place. From the minute we parked with valet to the second we left everyone was so welcoming! I stayed for 5 days for my son to attend camp. Everything I needed was offered here. Daily breakfast included with an included tip for the servers which is very much deserved. Beautiful views from the top floor restaurant which offers happy hour daily and dinner. The pool is perfect with a beautiful set up. I used the gym everyday. It’s small but has everything you need to get your workout done.

It only had two elevators with 17 floors and one of the elevators was down the whole weekend we were there. It took over 15 minutes to get up to the breakfast at the 17th floor because of everybody trying to get there we were forced to have to use stairs multiple times to climb 17 floors, we were never told it was out we were never told we could get a discount due to that we were charged $40 a day for valet parking because there’s no self parking. Everyone was cramming in the elevators and it would stop at every floor just to close the doors to go up to the next floor and nobody could get in because it was already packed. I feel that there should have been a discount offered for the inconvenience and they never was

I like this hotel because of its proximity to UCLA and the Getty. They offer free Uber rides to multiple locations including the aforementioned, which is a huge perk. Calling the hotel to get a ride back was a hassle, I was put on hold for 6-7 minutes, but anyway, I appreciated this service. The free breakfast was mediocre like in most U.S. hotels, and the main server and greeter (the breakfast maître d'?) seemed to be in a hurry to get me and my sister out of there. We couldn't enjoy our tea and the views post-breakfast despite the restaurant being about three fourths empty and breakfast time continuing for another hour. I also noticed that others weren't quite treated this way, but hey, I could be mistaken. Poor walkability, but I managed to take a short after-dinner walk anyway. Overall, a solid choice based on location and amenities.

Needs some serious remodeling to deliver the claimed standard. Dirty room, leaking plumbing, bad smell. This is a disappointment and the price is not justified. Very noisy as the freeway is close by and windows outdated.

The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast menu was one of the best I’ve experienced in a buffet. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable. I generally stay closer to UCLA for medical appointments. Parking is expensive (compared to free parking at the Tiverton) but I look forward to staying here again.

This hotel was like an oasis in the middle of the city. The room was immaculate and obviously recently renovated. The bathroom was super clean (thank you for the liquid soap!) and the breakfast was wonderful. Everyone I interacted with from the desk staff to the valet who parked our car was super friendly and made us feel welcome. I will definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends who will be going to Los Angeles.

The property was outdated and looks to be an old Holiday Inn or something. The sheets and counters were dirty. The bathroom door was broken. You could see build up on the shower head. The property has a nice uber policy to/from the hotel. Overall the property is outdated and dirty, but is close to UCLA and has a great Uber policy.

The room surfaces were not clean. The carpets were filty and stained. Bathroom could have been cleaner... the wall outlets by the bed were sticky and not clean, same as some stains on the walls near bed and Bathroom. The a/c unit had a dirty filter.

Room and hotel clean. Paid extra for skyline view room, skyline view did not consist of LA skyline but opposite side behind the hotel - view of an apartment building and a parking lot. Elevator scarey, got stuck twice and elected to use stairs to climb several flights. Balcony/window does not open - sealed by hotel. Very loud freeway construction, not quiet at night for sleeping. Price does not include all taxes & fees, parking is an additional $40.

The staff were all great, especially the ones working the busy breakfast rush at the restaurant. The bed’s were comfy and room was clean. My dislikes are really just personal preference and style. It was a valet only option for parking, at $40 per night. This hotel was also dang near on top of the LA freeway so the road noise was very loud. For the price the rooms were quite small, especially the bathroom. My least favorite thing was the lightly frosted glass bathroom door so no privacy for whoever is using the bathroom. When I’m a mom staying with my teenage son, not the greatest! Also no secondary mirror in the main room so more than one person can get ready while the other is in the tiny, not private bathroom. It’s LA so again, it’s really just personal taste. It was a unique building and I’m sure many people that like city life will enjoy it, it’s just not for me.

Room was noisy - on the freeway side of the property. There was a lot noise that sounded like it came from a walkie talkie that awakened me. Couldn’t get back to sleep! Also, the adjacent room 1012, which just had a door between it and my room, had space under the door so light from that room shines into my room. I had to place a large towel at the door to make the room dark.

The location and staff were amazing. The architecture is cool. This is designed to be a boutique hotel. Having said all that the elevators were broken most of the time during our stay. The hotel rooms were very small. I noticed the finishes in the hallways. Paint was chipped. Wallpaper was peeling and the wall sconces. The shades were cracked and broken. This hotel is not designed for families. I don't know why people would bring large groups of children. To a hotel like this? The mini store in the hotel was not open during our stay made things inconvenient. They also don't take cash. It is a cash free hotel.. the location can't be beat. The staff are really nice, but they seem powerless to improve things.. I asked for a room not facing the freeway and they couldn't accommodate me. Overall, the hotel is just average. It could be so much more with a little attention to detail.!

Really nice hotel overall and very good value. Two things to note: 1. Their valet parking is basically required because there’s no easy parking near the hotel. It’s $40 a day. 2. The room can be quite noisy due to it sitting right above the highway. Our room is on the highway side so it’s really loud. Try asking for a room on the other side if you can. The breakfast is very good and overall an excellent hotel.

Love this hotel but my favorite thing about it was that all the rooms have a balcony but they’re locked now so you can’t use it. I’m a big fan of air circulation so that kinda sucked, but overall a great stay! 9/10

Overall a fine stay with funky architecture, small but functional rooms, convenient location, very fast valet service, and a nice bar. Check-in is odd as you're forced to sign an agreement to not bring in alcohol of your own (I wasn't really planning on it this particular stay, but what hotel forbids you from drinking your own booze in your room?!). The rooms have balconies but the doors do not open, but no bother as the balconies looked tiny and uncomfortable anyway (the aforementioned agreement also had a clause about a fine if you attempt to open the door and go onto your balcony).

The hotel internet and Wifi was intermittent and slow in all rooms. Speedtest confirmed. The hotel also describes the ability to upgrade the internet service. The hotel admitted they are having issues with their carrier Spectrum and that it is a problem. I had no choice but to leave after one day because of work necessary to do.

Really disappointed with our stay. The room had a strange odor and was located directly on the side of the freeway—by 4am it was so loud it felt like we were sleeping on the freeway. We asked to be moved and were told no rooms were available on the quieter side, which didn’t seem accurate. Rooms are very dated and the pillows are basically throw pillows. When we requested more, it took over two hours to get them, and when I offered to go pick them up myself, I was told I couldn’t. Customer service was poor—Dominique at the front desk acted like any request was an inconvenience. We also asked for a late check-out due to the terrible sleep disruption and were told the hotel was “fully booked.” Oddly, I was able to go online and see plenty of rooms available for the same night. They advertise free breakfast but automatically tack on a mandatory gratuity, which feels deceptive. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are newer, quieter, and better priced. Would absolutely not stay here again.

My experience here was disappointing. Staff was not willing to give extra towels for a one night stay. The staff member mentioned that housekeeping was gone and could therefore not give any extra towels to patrons. However, staff should have accessibility to clean towels even when housekeeping is not there. Additionally, even though our check out was extended, housekeeping was not informed and knocked on our door 3 times with each time us mentioning that we were checking out late. Communication should be enhanced with staff to prevent this issue. Staff were slightly rude. Will not be staying again.

We've stayed many times and have always been pleased with the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the location is great. However, we had a terrible experience this time. We had two rooms - paid for by the same credit card. Late at night the the front desk called my colleague and told him there was no credit card for the room (despite the fact that the other room had a credit card on file). The agent from the front desk was rude and mean when my colleague (who was asleep) offered to come to the front desk in the morning. The agent threatened to call the police immediately. Overall we had a horrible experience.

The hotel is right off the I-405 highway. We choose this hotel because it is near The Getty Center. They offer free Uber rides to and from The Getty, which is a plus for us and the traffic is horrible on the side streets around the hotel due to closures on the 405.

One night stay. Check in was easy and convenient location to the Getty Museum. The carpet in the main room was torn and needed repair. Room had everything that was needed. A bit remote and I was traveling without a car so I used rideshre. Breakfast was delicious was great views around the area.

I was very happy about having access to the pool and loved the view, food, and ambience of the penthouse restaurant! I didn’t realize there was such a generous buffet for breakfast! The omelette chef was superb, and the rest of the hotel staff was very fine as well. Zak our server was very personable when my sister and I had scallops (yum!) for dinner.

The bathroom was extremely small. The breakfast was an adventure. Firstly you would be lucky if you could find a free table and the staff although they were very helpful they were only one or two for the whole restaurant. And we had to pay extra 5$ for the service.

Loved the view from the top floor restaurant and enjoyed the breakfast, especially the cooked to order omelets. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Valet parking with unlimited vehicle access was a nice feature and worth the $40./ day. They even provided an Uber at no charge to various areas around the hotel (we used for the Getty museum and saved the parking fee). Very convenient location to access west LA, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina Del Rey, LAX, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood, Universal Studios and so much more.

While the location is convenient, the rooms are quite noisy - you hear the freeway all night. The bathroom is cramped and would be hard to maneuver in if you are larger than average size. And although breakfast is included for a nominal charge, the best item - an omelette bar - is very very slow. There was a wait of 30 minutes to get hot eggs of any type. Other hot options were pancakes, potatoes, and oatmeal.

The views are great, included breakfast is the best! Custom omlets... $5 service fee. rooms are small, carpet in room was stained. $40 daily parking fee was a bad surprise! Daily wine tasting (complimentary) was nice. Daily was nice. 10 min to UCLA Med center.
