Best Western Plus Oceanside Palms

We checked in close to midnight. Staff was helpful and informative. Room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast which got us up and running. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again when coming to town.

I want to start by saying that all staff were very friendly and welcoming. It didn’t matter what time of day we would pass by any staff walking through the hallway, they would smile and greet us. Staff kept the front lobby and dining area very tidy. We even saw staff tidying up around outside. Despite the great staff, the hotel room was okay and just outdated. Lighting was terrible. The room just felt really dark. Don’t get me started on the bathroom lighting. Girls, bring some extra lighting because putting on makeup was a bit challenging. Truly nothing special about the room. I had booked a room with a kitchenette but was bummed to learn that they had taken out a mini stove four years ago. That’s on me, I should have paid more attention to the details in the description of the room. It did throw a wrench in our plans of having at least two meals in during our stay. The kitchenette only really offered us a slightly elongated table to eat at and a huge fridge/freezer. For the same price, I could have booked another location with a kitchenette that has a stove. Lesson learned for next time. I will say this continental breakfast was excellent. Great options. That was the biggest highlight of our stay.

Good breakfast, clean room. There is a large construction site next door, but not was quiet.

It was a pleasurable experience staying at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Palms. The property was clean, quiet and a short drive to City Hall.
