Very family friendly. 7 pools. Pools that accommodated children. Family friendly center with activities, games, movie theater.

The gym was well equipped and clean!

It was a lovely property, but we got stranded at the main hotel our last night there after having dinner. We were told a shuttle would come for us in a few minutes but it never arrived. We waited for an hour, then had to walk in the dark to a pick up spot where Security got us. The property needs to invest in more shuttles and drivers with more frequent pick up times.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The villas have everything you need! Check-in was quick and easy, and my kids loved every minute of our stay. The villas are stocked with all the kitchenware you could want, plus laundry in-unit (they even provide a couple packets of detergent, which was a nice touch). The bathroom setup was perfect for a family—there’s a huge tub where the kiddos could watch the bedroom TV while they splashed around 😂 and a separate shower, which made bath time a breeze. The pools were amazing with so many options! We mostly stuck to the one with the bar and grill—super convenient, and the food and drinks were 10/10. There’s also a cute kiddie pool and a hot tub, so it worked for all ages. Another highlight was the recreation area—a total lifesaver in the heat. There’s a kids’ room with tons of art supplies, soft toys, a little playhouse kitchen, board games, and a TV. The teen room had a ring light, charging cables, and comfy lounge chairs. Outside, there was a pool table and yard games like Connect Four and cornhole—and even a little free library. Such a thoughtful touch! I was having such a good time that I actually made it home without one of my bags 😅 but the process to get it back was incredibly smooth and stress-free. If we had brought our gaming system, the villa setup would’ve made it really easy to connect. Overall, a fantastic family getaway, I absolutely will come back!

Property charged $25 parking(per night). for each vehicle we had. Total of $150. Expedia does a poor job letting clients know about this hidden fees. I am very disappointed with both Marriot and Expedia.

Beautiful scenic property in the Palm Desert area. The 1200sqft 1 bedroom is beautifully furnished, with full kitchen and large bathroom. Also has a very nice balcony with mountain and golf course view. The pool area with cafe and full bar are also excellent. Only complaint would be that the pool water was a bit cloudy. May need to run pumps a bit more when pools are crowded to keep the water sparkling clear…

No restaurant or bar except at the pool which closes early. Remote if you don’t have a car. Room was extremely small. Not even a bottle of water. An issue since the sundry shop was a 15 minute walk from my room. If you get assigned a room on the second floor, there is no elevator. They were nice enough to reassign me. Outdated bathroom with a tub shower.

Friendly staff. Property has several pools. Took the free shuttle to the JW Marriott, saw their beautiful grounds, and multiple food options. Our patio right on the golf course (nice views)

Great family vacation. Rooms are spacious and clean. They have everything you need. Main pool can get a little crowded but they had plenty of chairs and towels available. Also loved the food at the pool. The kids activity area was a lot of fun too.

Our duvet had blood and the sheets were stained. Of course it was not until the second day that we found it out. Pretty gross to have laid in the bed with someone else’s blood. The jacuzzi particularly has a green tint. This was our second time staying here and the pools are not clean.

The rooms were comfortable and worked well for our family of four, but the pull-out sofa was extremely short, my 11-year-old daughter’s feet hung over the edge. There were no additional rollaway beds available for my son. The pool was crowded and not very clean. Housekeeping is not provided daily unless you pay extra, and there’s no option for late checkout. Even when they house cleaning came she didn’t even tighten up the sofa bed and left it messy. There’s no market on the property and no decent dining options aside from the poolside restaurant. If you stay in Villas II, you also don’t have access to the amenities at the J.W. Marriott.

There was bug in the coffee pot and housekeeping got me another one. Did not want to make coffee in our room after that everything else was great love the activities and the pool area people were so nice. The market store was nice too. A little overpriced but ok the checkin and checkout was great

Clean property and safe 👍

My recent stay at this Marriott property was unfortunately my first negative experience after about a half a dozen positive stays at other Marriott locations. Several issues arose, starting with check-in. We weren't informed of the $25 daily parking fee, nor were we given WiFi instructions. Worse, our room's bathtub and vanity area had a bunch of small drainage worms around it. While the staff attempted to address the problem, the worms repeatedly returned throughout our four-day stay, despite assurances that the area had been cleaned. The overall cleanliness of the room was also subpar, with hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, and fingerprints on the kitchen cupboards, refrigerator, and windows. The daily "tidy up" service, which we only received once, was minimal, consisting of little more than a quick made bed. Lotion and coffee refills were also neglected. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and tried to resolve the worm issue to the best of their ability. The outdoor grounds were well-maintained and attractive. The hotel's proximity to the JW Marriott was a plus, as we spent most of our time there, enjoying its pool area. The small market and gift shop near the lobby, complete with a Starbucks, were also convenient.

Our shower was dirty. It had hair all over it and the water was either scalding hot or ice cold. If I took a shower before my husband, there was no hot water for him. I took scalding hot showers and he took ice cold showers!! So that was pretty crappy. Otherwise everything else was good. The room was nice besides the hair all over the shower. That was gross. And there was no conditioner had to ask for some. The property was beautiful and the golf course was gorgeous.

BED BUGS. Walk up to first night with a bunch of bite marks in my legs and arm spotted a bed bug casually walking in my bed took a video, called from desk reported staff and manager came over and manager was trying to convince me that it’s not a bed bug and had zero explanation on my bite marks. I pulled up an image on google and compared my recording to the images I had and confirmed it was bed bugs. Management convinced me it’s not and they would have brand new sheets for me 3 hrs later a last comes by to change sheets for the pull out couch and not the bed I told her it’s for the bed and not the couch and she looked at me and said the order was to replace the couch sheets not the bed. I called front dear spoke with Julie 4 times before and was told someone will come by to change the sheets, security came by and took a report of my bite marks and provided me with a band-Aid. Not a single staff member apologized for the incident, that same night since sheets were changed we went to sleep and I woke up to even more bites, we decided at that point to pack up and head out even though room was fully paid for an additional 2 days. I got to the front dear to check out around 12:45pm and was given the biggest attitude by employee telling me check out is at 10am, I’m thinking what difference does it make if I’m leaving early and room is paid for already I told her I’m leaving early because I’m tired of getting bit by the bed bugs and nothing is being done about it. Will upload pic.

Love staying here BUT it has changed. They no longer clean the rooms everyday, they also charge for requesting towels after the first request, parking is 25.00 per car. Glad the worker received a pay increase but don’t cheat the consumers.

The room is clean and spacious, so it's good for a family of four to stay in. There are various tableware and plenty of room, so it's convenient to make food. But I heard there is a sofa bed, so it's a little uncomfortable.

We stayed at the desert villas with our kids and had a great time. We had a 2 bedroom villa which was very spacious and having the full kitchen was great to have so we could make our own meals. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit so we could do laundry. The pools were big and it was nice having the restaurant and bar at the big pool. The only downside was we went in July so it was extremely hot and the water in the pools was so hot and not refreshing. We figured that would be the case so we made the best of it. The beds were very comfortable and the black out curtains throughout the entire villa made it so nice for sleeping in. We will definitely stay at the villas again.

The hotel inside was nice, beds are comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the spacious villa. Its large, airy rooms comfortably accommodated our family of six, providing plenty of personal space. The full-size kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, allowing me to prepare a variety of meals with ease. Every aspect of the villa, from the plush sofas in the living area to the cozy bedrooms, contributed to an extremely comfortable and relaxing experience.

Nice stay. Be sure to book a villa not the room. Room is very small and does not have the same amenities as the villa.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Multiple pool options that are easily accessible. Only complaint is that the a/c fan was pretty loud.

The place was pretty empty as it was a very large resort and school was back in session . We had two villas and they were in the same buildings. Our unit was very hot, AC didn’t work. Instead of moving us they told us they’d be there within 40 minutes to fix it. Waiting 40 minutes in 100 degree weather was not convenient! The AC was loud when it kicked on. Woke us up several times at night. Annoying, why not just move us from the beginning? Oh well, only two nights. Otherwise fine.

While the condition of the hotel was good, the property felt outdated for the price and, honestly, felt more like a retirement community than a resort. Amenities were nice with many pools throughout.

A+++ property!!! My favorite place to stay in Palm Desert! The people, at the front desk, are exceptional!

As soon as we got there , went to check in , as we were about to leave the annoying lady was trying to sell us to go to a workshop . We were already tired and just wanted to go to the room. We were staying there 3 days (2nights) our towels were soaking wet they wouldnt replace them for us , we had to purchase them ! It’s a family community but there are better hotels that we have stayed at that are still family friendly and more cozy. We don’t plan on staying at this Marriott again .

The resort was clean and had great amenities for both kids and adults. That said, the check-in experience was a letdown. The front desk staff came off as cold and unhelpful, and we felt like a burden just for arriving. They also made an error with our room assignments, costing us nearly an hour to fix. It’s a shame, because the property itself was nice—but the poor service was enough to turn us away from coming back.

Super friendly and helpful staff and absolutely beautiful property. We stayed in one bedroom suite - spacious, clean, lovely view from our balcony, quiet, all around perfect! Property also had daily activities like wine tasting, live music, pickle ball etc. Definite 5 stars and we will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property, but when I checked out, there were 2 bar charges on my bill that weren't mine. I told this to the check in/out counter person, who said it would take a while for Marriott to get back to me on it. I haven't seen anything yet, and I'm not entirely sure that anything was even passed along (no documentation provided). I will call Marriott corporate offices to check on this.

Updated and super clean rooms, large property with lots of areas to swim/hang. Close to Palm Desert shops and food.

Entrance was difficult to see and Google maps kept trying to get us to the JW Marriott hotel side. Once we finally arrived and got use to the winding streets we we had a fabulous time

Very nice family friendly resort. If you are looking for a spacious villa, this is a great option. In quick driving proximity (less than 20 minutes) to many stores and groceries and close to many Palm Springs/Palm Dessert locations as well. I didnt love that they suddenly started charging $25 per day for parking - that should have been mentioned up front before booking.

We like your property because of it's location. Easy to get to shopping , walking trails and restaurants. it is also very quiet.

Very clean! Nicely decorated room. Golf course looked immaculate. Only small complaint is having to drive everywhere for meals. Onsite dining is minimal and was a little bit of a walk for our location. Front desk personnel were friendly. Check-in was a little slow but not too bad.

Front desk employees were very friendly. Great customer service. Overall great experience. Wish they offered more food options/restaurant. Only restaurant/bar was by the pool and they close early. They do have a marketplace and able obtain other food options there. Pool area could be updated. Villa was very spacious. I would definitely come back.

Not a lot of food options

The villas are ok, there was privacy. The pool was ok for the villas around them. FOOD wise, you have to drive out for meals, we did not find restaurants on site. We stayed 3 nights, and no one came to clean the room, no fresh towels. The price was very good but I would not stay there again.

Expected a bar and restaurant on property. Had to use a shuttle that only ran every 1/2 hour in 102 degree heat, and the shuttle was not very close.
