Parking is plentiful, but tight. The area is not the best, but lots of convenient things nearby (restaurants, Trader Joe's, freeway). The front desk ladies were helpful and fast. The breakfast was nice...there were a few options and fresh fruit and coffee (yes!). If anything wasnt great it was that the man next to me was a smoker and several times went to smoke out of his room, but really close to my window. Yuck.

A perfectly fine hotel for an easy stay. The hotel doesn't have a lot of personality or ambience, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was good -- freeway access and a few good restaurants across the street. Free parking, too, but watch out, the spaces are small!

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. It did feel safe ultimately but with an open gate and outside doors I wouldn’t recommend solo traveling. The pool was unfortunately down for maintenance.

This hotel was very clean. Upon arrival late at night, lobby and window were closed with a sign stating (be right back in 10 mins). A gentleman standing in the parking lot approched me trying to start conversation and asking me to charge his phone. Even though there are cameras everywhere, I did not feel safe as my children were with me. This could have been avoided had the attendant been there. Pool was semi clean, hot tub doesn't work, rooms are impeccably clean, and the breakfast is superior. The attendants were nice and helpful. Very clean budget motel with great breakfast, dated non working amenities, and sketchy guests/visitors.

There was a substance sprayed on the floor and the bed that gave my daughter a rash, hotel staff was unhelpful in telling us what they spray to sanitize. Dead bugs on the windowsill and spills on the walls. Dirt built up in corners and floors were filthy-had not been washed in quite some time. Pool and hot tub were also filthy and full of dirt and debris. Had to go to front desk and ask for an article of clothing back that was taken from our room when the cleaning staff went in to clean while we were out for the day. Would not recommend!

This was a nice find. Clean, nice room. Comfy bed. Hot tub and pool were great. And breakfast was plentiful and tasty, not just a continental breakfast. Highly recommended!

Review excellent, but I don’t see when I stay in room is not really clean and night time so noisy from A/C and refrigerator also some time water from next room or second floor so loud. I request but they don’t really take seriously and just say give discount. Nothing I can do. When I check out they ignore discount. So never come back is so bad to do like that in business .

The room was dark and there was an old smell in there. I found some trash behind the desk where no one had cleaned. The breakfast area was very pleasant and the food was satisfactory. There was not a lot to walk to nearby.

Thank you for the safe, clean stay. To have a fridge but no microwave was hard. The fridge froze my milk and yogurt on Min. The bed was great and heat was nice. The staff was excellent.

Had a decent stay at Best Western Pasadena inn. There are two best westerns right across the street from each other. The room was clean. I was on the second floor and had to use noise cancelling sounds because the walkway made a noise every time someone walked across it. The bed has a metal base and it sounded like I was closing a file cabinet if I bumped into or when I turned over. The water in the shower barely got to lukewarm but it was functional. Pasadena has a decent bus system and the Metro station is nearby. I took the metro to Hollywood for a comedy show and it took an hour. The LA Metro is an adventure, you see things which would make the NYC subway blush. I did not utilize the breakfast and instead chose to visit nearby restaurants.

We booked this location because we thought it was a good price for a 1-night stay. This is the last time I try to save money on lodging. The service was not an issue; the staff were polite and friendly. The free breakfast was as expected. The room was a whole different story. Upon arrival, the room looked clean and spacious. It was simple, with only the bare minimum of soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which we were okay with. However, all the issues kicked in at night. The king bed was so soft that any time either of us moved, the other person felt an earthquake of movement on the other end. Our AC made awful droning noises and kept turning on and off, so we never got used to the sound. The walls were paper thin. At 4 am, a truck pulled into the parking lot and blared rap music for several minutes. It was so loud it was almost like a speaker was outside our door, and we were on the second floor. At 6 am, we woke up because the neighbor was coughing for over 30 minutes. At 7 am, we woke up due to traffic noise on the main road parallel to the inn.

Property location is on the eastern edge of Pasadena and as such is in a less desirable part of town. However, it is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was simple but acceptable. We enjoyed our one night stay.

I expected a Best Western to be a hotel with indoor entrances. This one is not- it is a motel . Parking is adequate. I did not use the pool. The room has a mini fridge but no microwave, but there is one you can use in the laundry room. Not so quiet here. There was a lot of traffic and helicopter action the first night I stayed. There was also a lot of light shining in, but the curtains were effective. I was pleasantly surprised by the large variety of breakfast items available: fried eggs, real bacon that was tasty, hash brown potatoes, 3 kinds of cereal, toaster waffles, bread and a pancake maker, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee piping hot. Being a gluten free person I was able to have a good breakfast without having to bring my own food. There were dining options right across the street- a Mexican restaurant and a sushi place. One suggestion for management would be to tone down the air freshener in the room. I could not pinpoint the source of the fragrance. Even after airing out the room the smell lingered. I ended up leaving the window open.

Staff are always helpful, efficient and friendly. My room was very clean. This is an old property, and so everything in the room reflects that. Breakfast is free, and there’s a good variety of foods there. Coffee was very good. The location is convenient for me; just off the 210 freeway and 25 minutes from Burbank airport in good traffic, and there are plenty of restaurants within 10 min drive. There’s a Sprouts within walking distance. This is my “go to” hotel whenever I’m in LA on business. It’s not fancy, but safe and comfortable enough for me.

Decent stay. Price was good for what we got. I was looking for a place within reasonable price with breakfast and a pool. The kids loved hanging at the swimming pool. The simple breakfast in the morning made it easy for us to eat something to prepare for our long drive for the day. The girl who was stocking the breakfast area this morning was very friendly and sweet, talking to my kids about their outfits and favorite characters (Sonic and Spidey) and talking to everyone who walked in. She needs a raise!

Nothing was wrong -- nothing was astounding. Just a regular place to stay. Don't expect much from this place. Bed was comfortable, bathroom seemed clean. Breakfast spread was pretty great for continental -- had a waffle maker coffees and juices, yogurt, eggs, and breakfast sausages. Pleasantly surprised but beyond that there wasn't anything really astounding.

The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The bed is pretty hard, but for some people that is a plus. Breakfast was maybe a bit better than average. Eggs, bacon and potatoes. And they have one of those new pancake makers along with frozen waffles. Good selection of syrups including a sugar free. We stayed on a weekend, so I don't know about weekday breakfasts.

Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable. My family stayed here for 2 nights and all 4 of our backs were sore afterwards. Also, tissues were not available even after we asked. Also, the breakfast was not great. The waffles and Nutella made it edible. Coffee was okay too.
