Nice hotel with good bfast. Hotel sits back off the street so it's a bit hard to find. Nice looking pool and hot tub but not warm enough weather to go into it. We ate at the sushi place near the street and it was great. Ask for the 10% hotel stay discount.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel appears to have been remodeled recently and has a nice lobby and rooms. I didn't visit the pool or gym. The room had a small coffee maker and refrigerator. There were no recycle bins, and the coffeemaker uses Keurig plastic cups. They are putting in Tesla chargers, which is fantastic.

Overall our stay was pretty good. Very convenient location. A lot of food places nearby. Easy access on and off the freeway. Was able to check in late. Great variety of breakfast choices. The only downfall I would say is to many Tesla charging stations using all the parking spots up front. Was hard to find an open spot where our room was located.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Pasadena, CA, is easily one of the best hotels I have ever been to. It may not be the biggest hotel I’ve been too, but certainly one of the best, and it had everything I needed. The staff were incredibly kind and very helpful. They have a pool, a hot tub and a fitness room there. My room was very nice, had everything I could ask for in a hotel room. Breakfast is complimentary with your stay, the food itself was good too with good variety. And the place itself, my room and all the hallways were very clean. I can tell it is a well-managed and well-maintained place. The prices were very reasonable as well. It’s also located in a pretty convenient area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Pasadena, or just in the LA area in general.

On a major thoroughfare, we were put in a separate building from the main building where you needed your key to access an elevator, then to access a gate, then to access your room, which was so far from the pool and fitness center we decided not to use either. On the positive side, the bed itself was firm, but very comfortable, one of the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept on and the staff were really nice. Go on balance I’d give it a good very good.

The last thing I like to do is give bad reviews but I need to share. The smell that came out of the air conditioner was not pleasant. I believe it may have to do with the filter? Not sure why that smell exist but I just wanted to share. I also understand breakfast is complimentary but I certainly enjoy pancakes for breakfast at each of your hotels. To my misfortune, your pancakes were not available on this day.

There were ants crawling up the wall the morning of our check-out. When I notified the front desk she said she would notify maintenance. That's it. It took another agent to step in and say that she would comp us $25 for our stay. Will not return to this establishment.

Aside from the hallways and my room having a weird smell (my room was fine after a day), overall it was a very nice hotel. The room was great, I loved the bathroom, and the complementary breakfast was very good. Would definitely say here again.

Comfortable Beds. Quiet. Easy parking. EXCELLENT Breakfast--and they let us eat cereal before it was officially open on Sunday because we had to catch a plane. Very helpful. There should always be a grab-n-go option for those who need to leave early. Thank you for that.

The room had 2 double beds that weren't very comfortable, but rather decent, room is not very spacious, shower pressure wasn't that great, it was quiet at night, parking was easy and accessible, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion dispenser were available in the bathroom and it had a good HOT breakfast. The front desk employees weren't very friendly or welcoming. They were average. The lobby area had some sort of remodeling going on. It was an overall good stay, but nothing over the top. It's about a 25 minute drive to Universal Studios Hollywood.

This is my second stay in 2 weeks. This time, we were not in the main building, but across the upstairs patio, above a restaurant and nail salon. NICE ROOMS!! It was quiet, very clean and very comfortable. Plenty of room for 3 even 4 people. Not cramped at all. Breakfast was again, very good. Nice hot breakfast - choices of scrambled eggs v cheese omelette, potatoes, sausage links v patties, oatmeal, cereal, various breads, juices and coffee. Add to this very nice customer service, this is absolutely one of my favorite stays in my years of travel. Don't let the parking lot fool you (there's quite a few Tesla charging stations); this is absolutely a 5* stay!

Overall the rooms were clean and nice but the first room did not have hot water in the bath/shower…they had us move to another room. That room had a toilet that overflowed after one use…offered to switch us again but it was 4 of us and alot of luggage so we decided to stay put but they brought us a plunger and I was able to get the clog undone. The staff overall was very friendly. One man at the front desk seem to watch everyone and everything, in an uncomfortable way but he never said anything rude to us. I would stay again & just hope no room issues next time.

staff wasn't able to phone a cab for us, they said they don't do that so we registered for uber so we could do that furniture in the cafeteria badly torn and worn food in cafeteria was low quality I have taken some pictures that wold shock you all the drawers in the room were open in the morning as the building is not level and they slid open in the night no towels in the sink area, had to go into the bathroom to get a towel to wash hands and face. a simple towel rack would have eliminated the situation. garbage cans were not where they should have been so we asked for another one grab bar in shower should have been placed on the other side (left side of the tub) nothing to hold onto when getting in th shower or tub. bar was behind the curtain and beside the toilet. toilet paper roll came out of the wall used Kleenex found behind the pillows on the bed. safe deposit boxes were not safe at all. they're 4-6 small boxes as used in a bank vault that had to be opened with a key, and shared!!!! They told me they watch when people want to get things out or put in but if someone needs them at the front desk they will not be watching. Very comfortable stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Great reception upon check in. Delicious hot breakfast. Friendly, professional check out by Pricilla. She anticipates needs and delivers. She should be Employee of the Year. This was one of several stays at this hotel. We will definitely book this hotel again when we come to Pasadena.

Our stay was great - no issues except that when my husband went to the front desk to check out this morning at 4:30am before his 7am flight, the front desk representative told him he was not allowed to check out before 11am because that is the check-out time.

The staff at this Holiday Inn was extremely nice and helpful. When staying in Pasadena, I would prefer to stay downtown but prices were really extreme during this weekend and this hotel had a good rate. The room was clean and everything worked great.

We usually love Holiday Inn Express and Suites hotels, but this location was more like a Best Western. The front desk staff was great, the building was older, elevator wasn’t working upon arrival, and breakfast was terrible.
