Was not expecting a motel (all the rooms opened to the parking lot). The parking lot did not appear to be striped to code as at one point I had to back up and straighten out several time just to get between the rows of cars without causing damage. It was not worth the extra $10 you had to pay for parking. Breakfast was just okay and the dining area was very small. I was initially concerned about the level of road noise as the rooms were less than 75' from a very busy road, but the insulation worked fairly well to dampen the noise. The room was fine (bed was comfortable and furniture seemed to be in good condition), but you could see the hinges on the bathroom door were rusted and needed replacing.

The area and location are perfect. On another note, parking is pretty small, cramped, difficult to park with a small to med suv. Bathrooms pretty small, no fan or heat exhaust… other than that, it is a good hotel

This hotel is located on a busy intersection that made it hard to sleep. The room was pretty small and the a/c unit was pretty loud as well. Also, the parking lot was extremely tight AND you have to pay them $10 a day to park your vehicle. The free breakfast was also limited. The staff was really nice and the room was clean.

This was very good for convenience and location. The parking lot is small ,the unknown charges of park fee was unexpected, however the gave us the parking for free, the bed was HARD,The pillows were decent. Not a bad stay for air travel

It’s good for a nite but if you want to spend time by the pool nope I don’t recommend it! Pool was dirty, pool furniture looked like it was in its last leg and it was dirty. By the pool area was dirty and bird poop. The chill area on the top floor well was dirty they really need to upgrade. Breakfast very basic coffee was not good. The price was ok for what you get!

This property does not look like the advertised on line photo. Our room was on the second floor. Carting our luggage up 15 steps to the second floor was challenging. No elevator.

Terrible experience at Comfort Inn San Diego Airport. Room 212 had a serious cockroach problem, with about ten roaches running around overnight. Staff's response was unhelpful, offering spraying without much concern. Had to cut my stay short for safety reasons. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Not what we expect. They put us on the side of the kitchen and housekeeping. In the morning they are noisy we woke up early due to their chitchats and closing the door and knocking our doors and we dont know why. We expect that we will go to the big comfort inn but its look like motel.

For it being a motel, I honestly had no real complaints about my room. Amenities were up-to-date/modern, the bed was comfortable, A/C was blowing perfectly in that hot San Diego weather. However, there were some strands of hair on the bed when we checked in which was off putting. Also, there was a huge spider in the bathroom that disappeared before I could try and let it out the window or even kill it so for all I know, it could probably still be somewhere in that room. Anyway, the older gentlemen who checked me in when I finally arrived after midnight was so kind for giving us cookies & thanking us for staying with them, and the area was not that bad. I love how close it was to everything I needed, and there was even a 24-hour deli right next door. Although, I will say the parking lots are a bit too small for my liking. I rented a Ford Bronco and we could barely fit through the lots. Unfortunately, I didn’t try any of the complimentary breakfast since I never woke up on time so I can’t comment on that. Overall, I’ll give everything a 3.5/4

Make sure they clean your bathroom door plus handles and everything that you may touch in your room, my bathroom door had a little bit of blood on it when I checked in.This room also gives motel vibes in my opinion it should’ve been cheaper but I’m glad I only booked it for 1 night.The staff are friendly and breakfast was ok oh yeah and the parking lot is very tight so make sure you arrive early

My family and I stayed her for our trip to SeaWorld. Location was close, we were roughly 5 miles away from the park. The views of the marina were nice. The breakfast was decent- waffle pouring station, yogurts, cereals, coffee/juice. The rooms are not very clean hair on the counters, debris on the floor and some unknown substance in the bunk bed. I spent a great deal of time cleaning and sanitizing. We will not stay at this property again.

Room and bathroom very small, bur nicely renovated and very clean , we had to take turns to use the bathroom. Breakfast was good, waffles, cereals, eggs and sausages, yogurt, bread, English muffins, apples and bananas. AC worked good but was quite noisy. Patio and pool could use some more chairs or decoration but was OK. Staff was very nice. The best part was you cross the street and can walk fro miles around the docks on nice board walk with shops and restaurants and it was nice and without the homeless people. We loved the area.

The stay here was exceptional, especially the service from Carmina (not sure if I got it correct) at the front desk. She was extra helpful and always so pleasant. all the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Cons: I was charged a difference in rate from what I booked, which I did think was unacceptable since the rate I paid on Expedia is what it was at my time of booking and I don't think I should have been charged any additional if the rate changed during my stay. A change in breakfast options would have been nice.

I arrived several hours early and the staff was kind enough to allow me to check in early which I really appreciated because I was exhausted from a long range fishing trip. As usual the room was exceptionally clean. No issues. A big plus for me is that there is always good coffee in the lobby. They use an insulated dispenser so the coffee always tastes great. They also offer a very nice breakfast with a wide variety of items. The Comfort Inn is my new go to hotel whenever I am in Point Loma, which is several times per year.

Jesse at the front desk checked us in. We went to our room, it was late and after travelling all day we were exhausted. In bed sleeping, we hear Jess’s voice from front desk, fumbling with a key in our lock and then OPEN OUR ROOM DOOR! I yelled, she left and then called 20 min later, apparently she gave us wrong room!!!! She said it was “ok, we didn’t have to move” (like we would in the middle of the night)

Check in was easy and quick. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but the staff were very attentive to keeping things replaced and clean. There are other restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. We stayed here the night before our cruise ship left. It is an older hotel, but we had no complaints.

We stayed one night over 2 weekends getting in late on one weekend and leaving early the next. Jackie was a great hotel attendant/hostess by making arrangements for a taxi pick up to the cruise port and ensuring we had a place to drop off our luggage on the return trip, as we enjoyed the sights and shopping at Old Town San Diego. With this type of customer service, we would not think twice about where to stay during our next visit. We cannot express our appreciation enough for Comfort Inn at The Harbor Airport and Jackie for making our stop and stay a great experience! 👍

So I'm going to brag on this property. Is it a four-star Radisson? Obviously not. You might drive by and think oh that looks sketchy. But it's actually a fantastic property, mainly due to the fact of the care given by the staff. I made a last minute reservation last night around 11:00 p.m. because my original booking didn't work out. They got me right in, gave me two delicious welcome cookies, The front desk manager let me know he was available 24/7 if I needed a single thing. The room was old but it was clean. Sheets were clean. Pillowcases. It was a very comfy bed. But they went above and beyond when they called me today and let me know that I had left my Kindle in the bed. And they're going to hold on to it for me while I'm in Mexico for the next two days. And when I come back on Thursday I can go pick it up. That's amazing service. Yes, if you leave something at a hotel, you can call and see if they found anything. But I didn't even realize I had left it. They found it and called me and that was just above and beyond service and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also, it's conveniently located right by the harbor and right by the airport.

This was a great location within walking distance of many restaurants and Shelter island. It is pretty busy on the road next to the property so the cars were pretty noisy until late. It is a dated building and pretty humble but had clean rooms and the staff was very friendly.

The room was nicer than the outside looks. Clean as well. The breakfast was lacking in availability. I think they were short staffed for the amount of guests that were there.
