Room didn’t get cleaned but once - had to go get my own towels. Trash piled up.

Decent stay overall. The staff were the highlight — friendly and helpful, including the team at the ground-floor bistro. However, the rooms felt quite dated and are in need of modernization.

Bar staff was excellent and very friendly. I was originally placed on the 4th floor facing the highway. The room was humid and hot. The carpet was damp. The next day I ask to be moved. Staff could have been more polite and understanding in honoring my request, but I was able to move facing the court yard on the third floor. The rest of my stay was great!!

This is a very nice place to stay in Old Town, walkable to everything there including the Transit Center and super convenient by car, right off the highway. The only downside is it is right next to the highway, which is less than ideal from a view, noise, and air perspective, but everything there is good. Use street parking unless $30 a night for convenience of not worrying about it is worth it to you. Turn your wheels curbside when you street park, even on the flat, or you may get ticketed by the unique fundraiser the San Diego police department runs for the city on that.
