Excellent hotel; my only criticism is that the bar closes early despite it being a Friday night after a game. We came back after a dinner at a nearby restaurant and found it closed at 11pm.

Our stay at The Omni was fabulous. Location cannot be beat, especially if going to Petco Park. Our room overlooked Petco on one side and the bay on the other. Love the walking connector bridge directly from the Hotel to the stadium. Great pool and spa...and fitness center. Very cordial, helpful staff.

The ultimate location for anyone going to a Padres game! Do not second guess this one!! I loved the baseball theme throughout with the decor. The was amazing with two pelotons! Rooftop pool was beautiful! Wish they had coffee available to guests in the evening

Nice clean and roomy rooms but Beds are small, full size. We enjoyed the stay overall. We just had an issue at the pool. We were four families with 8 tweens and they all got bad cuts/scrapes on their toes from pool floor which also smaller then expected. They had some discomfort and pain for couple days which was so inconvenient. Staff was very attentive and gave ointments and bandages which was very nice on their part. We would return just hopefully pool floor is better!

Staff was wonderful, rooms were nice and clean. Balcony with either a city or bay view is a must, we slept with the doors wide open all night. Parking garage across the street was a nice perk to avoid expensive valet fees. All in all we enjoyed our experience and would surely stay again next time we’re in San Diego.

Beautifully newly renovated and decorated for the holidays. We enjoyed the comfort and sense of being joyfully welcomed. Flavored waters, fruit, and smiles and places to sit by a fire pit watching the sunset on a rooftop.

The parking was very expensive if you did valet, but there was a parking lot right across the street from the Omni hotel, which was a little cheaper or if you were lucky enough to get a meter otherwise everything about the place is fabulous. I love it I will go there again.

The staff was FANTASTIC at the Omni! We were upgraded to junior suite for our 10 year wedding anniversary upon arrival and given complimentary drink vouchers. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and kept so spotlessly clean! It was also so spacious! And the view of downtown was so cool! My husband was able to workout in the state of the art gym and use the hot tub this morning and said it was the perfect way to start his day. There were some very loud next to us and the front desk staff helped rectify that issue to the best they could, which was so appreciated. Such a nice getaway for 2 parents looking for a nice night away!

The hotel has a sewage issue, the drains smell pungent. Had to change rooms, the new room had the same smell. The linens are poor quality and had tears in them, there was music late in to the night. The only good thing was the food and the staff. Hopefully they can resolve their issues.

The hotel itself is nice and extremely convenient if you have an event at Petco Park. The room was clean but the bathroom had like a sewer smell to it. The safe was not working in our room but the view was great. I would stay there again.

First time staying here; best hotel shower ever, per my husband, who is fussy with his showers. Per me, best hotel king bed ever - supremely comfy. Love that the sliding window opened for fresh air. The whole hotel seemed newly renovated, stylish, pristine; friendly staff. Fun indoor/outdoor bar. Nice pool; hubby enjoyed the fitness center. Walkable to everything - Gaslamp Quarter restaurants a block away, convention center two blocks, Rady Shell/Embarcadero Marina Park/walking path along the Embarcadero less than half a mile; Seaport Village a mile. Hotel is literally attached to Petco Park via its own walkway. Will definitely stay here again!

Got the single king room on corner of bldg. 18th floor. Spectacular view! Modern design leaning toward minimalist yet with all amenities. Trolly station just outside hotel. Connected breeze way to MLB ballpark. Amazing nightlife in the Gaslamp District. Great way to experience a lot San Diego has to offer.

The hotel is in a nice location near Gaslamp district. Walking distance to shops restaurants, marina and downtown area. One minor issue is the windows are not sound proof. We were on 5th floor and could hear the cars and the train passing by. Higher floors may be more quiet but the windows should be sound proof.

My husband and I lost our cat in August and I lost my momentum for planning this trip. The concierge was so helpful with everything, including transportation, directions, and restaurant recommendations. Our housekeeper wrote me a note thanking me for her tip and greeted me every morning with a friendly good morning. We had a lot of bags and the bellman was always available to help us with them. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the staff. The area is convenient and we plan to return for a baseball game. We loved our visit to San Diego.

Outstanding customer service team welcoming guests at the front desk. Jacob was professional and friendly, going above and beyond to rearrange our complicated reservations, ensuring my entire family had their preferred room type. Before we could ask he called ahead to make reservations at a nearby restaurant. He made sure the local market had specific items we requested during our stay. He and the entire team were a pleasure to interact with. It was the perfect trip to Sunny San Diego, the Omni was our favorite part.

Close to the ballpark and to the gas lamp district. Room service was horrible. We placed a breakfast order and it was never delivered. After going back and forth with the front desk and restaurant for over 3 hours, we finally cancelled our order. We would’ve cancelled it sooner but they kept telling us it was “almost ready” and would be delivered “soon.”

It was a nightmare the minute we tried to check in. They didn’t have our reservation and couldn’t find it anywhere. I gave them our confirmation number and they still couldn’t find it. The girl helping us turned us over to a manager, Diane Soto, who didn’t talk to us about what was happening. We were just standing there in the dark. It was 3:40 and we were supposed to be somewhere at 4 and I told her that and she replied, “ Well, check in isn’t until 4 anyways, so you can come back”. I was appalled. Then, when we got home, we noticed that she charged our card even though we had already paid through the website and we told her we had! It took 3 phone calls and over a week to get the money reimbursed. We definitely will spend our money elsewhere.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The service was very good. My only ding would be anytime I made a a request for something complimentary (ironing board, housekeeping, etc.) it never came. But room service was good, the room was clean, and I would stay here again.

Staying at Omni was perfect! Staff was amazing. From Valet, Check in, Bellhop & Front Desk services. Everyone was kind and helpful. Room was clean and view was great!! Bought tickets for a baseball game so the hotel connected to the ballpark was 10/10!

First time staying in San Diego and the Omni staff are definitely a big part of the positive experience. My flight arrived at 10/00am and once I got to the hotel, they didn’t even blink at the request for early check in. The room was ready and they welcomed me with no extra charge or any of the other nonsense other hotels practice. Super positive experience!!

My wife and I loved this hotel. The location was ideal for Gaslamp fun and even better for going to a Padres game because there is direct access to the ballpark for hotel guests. The room was fantastic, clean, and smelled great. Vibes at the pool were great. Loved the coffee at Fres.co, drinks at Ace Porter, and the Tiki Social poolside pop-up at Tortuga was off the charts. Excellent service, too. A perfect home base for our first visit to San Diego -- and hopefully our next visit, too. Just one request: Put a chair on the balcony. :)

The location of this hotel is why we chose it. They have a sky bridge for perfect access to Petco Park away from the crowds. It’s also right in the heart of the Gaslamp District. The downsides were these: -the room’s air conditioning was below standard. We were unable to cool it sufficiently for a good nights sleep. -the cost of breakfast in the small hotel restaurant was much higher than expected ($60 for two people)

It is a good spot with good rooms, the only bummer was the large homeless population around the hotel, but it's California so I guess that's to be expected. The food was good, but the menu options were limited, especially for the place that is open in the afternoon/evenings. Very focused on alcohol, not so much eating.
