The fitness center only had 1 treadmill that kept a shutting off from over heating. The machine would shut off after 3-4 minutes of using it. It would not restart immediately after. I asked the front desk and was informed they do not know what to do and maintenance is unavailable.

The location is very convenient to restaurants and the harbor. Ample free parking. The rooms are a little dated but just fine.(There appears to be a newer part of the hotel but we didn't stay in it.) Staff was friendly and went an extra mile to help locate a jacket I lost on the property. Breakfast was OK. I'd stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Since then, there has been made some renovations, mostly painting (elevator was still smelling paint so did wonder if it was still wet). Old worn out furniture. If you want housekeeping, you must ask for it the day before. Used to be ok during COVID, but nowadays that's just strange not to talk about that waiver they ask to sign at check-in! Breakfast mostly white and sugar, not a single protein containing item. Didn't try the pool, but it looked quite small. Wifi slow but useable.

The room was clean, painted, but dated. The breakfast was filling but lack of hot items and the guests were left to their own devices and using serving utensils for whichever they wanted. The parking was good and free. The toilet flushes are loud.

They need to update their info on an airport shuttle. It was disappointing they don’t because the many travel companies said they offer a shuttle, and this is why I booked this hotel. I was upset at first, but the staffing saved the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful with great customer service. Way to go! I’ll be back.

Old hotel but rooms have been upgraded. Our room was in the other side and took us a minute to find our way to the lobby for breakfast but it was good once we did. Lots of exits so we were able to get to our room faster. Rooms have been upgraded and comfortable. We went end is Sept so the pool was pretty cold so we couldn’t use it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Less than a block from the marina

I entered, walked upto the desk, and the first thing out off the (one) man's mouth is, "Give me a minute." Not the best customer service. I appreciate they had vending. The elevator barely held, two bags, myself and a small dog. The only thing upgraded structurally is the lobby. Deceiving. You have to walk all the way to the end of the hotel on what looks like 20 YO carpet for this tiny elevator that doesn't look like it's gonna make it up one floor. For the money, this place is a rip off.

On line indicated free shuttle to airport. Wrong. They haven’t had that service in 3 years. Property was not clean. Room was not clean and on parking lot felt unsafe for 2 women.

The gentleman was very nice when checking in, but unfortunately, the restroom was very dirty, smelled of urine and a lot of dirt in the corners and pubic hairs. There was nobody available to come clean the floor. When we called to ask, they did say that we could come down and get a mop, but nobody could mop for us. Not much else to say.

We were 'welcomed' by being told because of COVID we would get no maid service over our 4 night stay. Can i just say SAND, hello? Elevator was not centrally located and only fit 2 adults and 2 rolling suitcases. Lets talk about the room. First it was clear the room was closed up for awhile. Window A/C unit was not on. Took one full night for it to actually cool. I ended up leaving a laundry list of things wrong with the room. Big gap at bottom of room door, so much so it created a heat draft while trying to use the a/c Bathroom door knob falling off Bathroom door would not latch, it was clear it was broken into Slow drain in the tub - which made it so slick I fell the first night Mold in the grout in and around tub Settings on fridge wouldnt work. Drinking were freezing and ice cream was melting. Free parking for guests and anyone else who wants to hang in the lot. Morning of checkout, which we had to leave at 4:30am, there were at least 6 vehicles without a parking pass and two vehicles with people sleeping in them. For almost $200 a night, its not worth it. Husband came home sick as im sure the a/c unit was blowing mold on us.

It's good for the fisherman but for my family we found it dirty weird smelling and every morning there were worms crawling on the ground the place really needs to have some upgrades. I would recommend going elsewhere

The room was very large and it was nice to have two separate sleeping rooms but the property was not very clean. I did not have socks on and had all sorts of dirt sticking to the bottom of my feet. We stayed for two nights, and our room was not cleaned at all. We did not receive clean towels, and the garbage was never taken out. The breakfast was very minimal, fruit, waffles, cereal, juice and a few breakfast breads. I chose this hotel because it had 8 for a review. I think I would give it a 5 out of 10. I only used the elevator once and then always used the stairs because it was really dirty inside.

There was an airport shuttle van outside the hotel but they said it was cancelled. The elevator was so small I could barely get in with my luggage. And it was filthy and paint splattered everywhere. The hallways were dirty, carpet dirty. Room stunk even after we left the windows open for 10+hours. The sheets were stained (or un- cleaned) with hair in it) and there was stains on the walls and towels! Gross and unacceptable. They offered us a different room, we packed up and moved into the new room they walked us into, then the keys didn’t work, only to find out they gave us the wrong room. Had to pack up again and move, new room was on a loud busy road!

The property is old and outdated, and given the nightly rate, it should be renovated. It does not visually resemble a Wyndham hotel. The check-in process needs improvement; although all information was uploaded online, additional details were still required during check-in, and we had to sign paper copies of documents. I stayed in a king-size bedroom with a balcony. The bathroom was extremely small, the bed was uncomfortable, and there were visible dirt stains on the sheets, pillowcases, and chairs. Additionally, a book titled "The Teachings of Buddha" was on the nightstand. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

This stay wasn’t great,it started off bad because the first room they gave me the ac wasn’t working. Then they switched me to a different room and 2nd room was fine but unfortunately the wi-fi didn’t work,the only real positive of this place the location was good since your not very far from downtown but in reality you should spend the extra 40 bucks or 50 bucks to stay in a better hotel.

Room was on street level right at the sidewalk. People walking by at night. They should charge half price for these rooms and should have alerted me to this when I made the reservation. Maybe I’ll get a little sleep tonight now that I’m back home. Definitely do not recommend this Ramada facility.

Great location, close to the fishing landings, good parking. 2 nd floor room was comfortable but when the quests next door used the shower early in the morning it was noisy. I would stay at this hotel again, the staff was friendly.

The staff at the San Diego Ramada (Airport) were friendly and helpful. Gaby field a call from me the day before I arrived asking if they have an airport bus shuttle. They don't, but the hotel has arranged for a $10 fare from a local cab company. (The cab fare from the airport to the hotel was only $12.) the hotel is very close to the airport (no more than a 5-minute drive) and is walkable (15 minutes) to the Shelter Island Harbour. Other friendly staff included Brenda and Harvey. Brenda was most friendly and graciously accommodated an early check-in and arranged for a taxi pick-up for me. Harvey was also friendly on my early morning departure. The hotel is an older property, but for the most part was clean and comfortable for a budget-range hotel. The flooring had been replaced in my room with vinyl plank. My room had a fridge and microwave and the bed was very comfortable with multiple pillow options. The room has an air conditioning unit, but as is usual in San Diego, the weather was mild and I was able to sleep with the windows in my second floor room open allowing me to sleep with fresh air. It was quiet outside and I slept soundly. The room had only one cleanliness issue (attention needed under the toilet bowl rim) which I shared with Harvey on my departure. If not for this, I would have given the stay a "5." I would stay at this hotel, again.

Would not recommend to any of my friends. It appears it’s a franchise of Ramada and the owners haven’t really done anything to bring it to date. There was no mention that the maids wouldn’t clean the room and you had to request clean dry towels from the front desk.

Checkin took 30+ mins because of an issue with a customer in front of us and only one staff member on the desk. Overall the hotel had a dirty feel to it. The area was noisy. The room needed the AC on to be comfortable but the AC was SO noisy. Didn't sleep so well as a result. On the + side, being near the airport was convenient for an early flight.

The front desk staff at check in were nice and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Other than that it was an unpleasant stay. The worst part was the homeless person who stayed outside our bedroom window and yelled throughout the entire night and banged on the window every night for the 3 nights we stayed there. Traffic is very loud making it difficult to sleep. We also found bugs in the bathroom. I would not recommend staying here. I will not be back.

The room was a lower average rating. The flooring was a bit dirty and details of the physical room were old and poorly repaired. The toilet let out a sewer smell. I could tell that the toilet wax ring was blown out and let the sewer smell in. They messily just caulked the base to the floor. But the bed was clean. I did like that all bedding was very white and visibly clean. The mattress and pillows were actually very comfortable. The people above us on the second floor had a kid that ran and stomped so loud the ceilings shook all morning and night. As for breakfast, it was a bit lacking. The only warm food offered was making a waffle. The coffee was not real brewed coffee. The coffee was instant coffee in hot water served in a large coffee dispenser. It took me a minute to figure out why it tasted so strange. That was a big disappointment. The location is good if you're looking for local places to walk to and eat. If you're only looking for a home base to come back and sleep, this place is fine.

We had a nice stay at Ramada. Very close to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World, and an easy walk to have a meal at nearby Dennys. Room was clean, nice shower, comfy bed and an onsite great breakfast which is included with delicious easy to make waffles.

I appreciated the easy check in/out process and how quiet the rooms were. The breakfast area although basic, provided many staples similar to the larger chain hotels. It was a quick and convenient stay!
