Great hotel to stay in. Nice and peaceful. Basketball court helps out with kids.

Loved the location and that the pool is heated with a jacuzzi and basketball court!

Pool was good.

I was changed car parking fee which was not seen while I was booking - disappointed. I can understand if the hotel located in downtown where parking space is limited but, this hotel locates in Mira Mesa and there is no issue in parking space availability. Free breakfast was poor quality and had limited options. Holiday Inn is much better than this Morriott.

Needs some refreshment. Missing choices at breakfast. Nonsense daily fee for parking. Room service minimalist with no cleaning on long stays.

Do not agree with the parking fee of $20 a night. Saw a lot of people parking on street.

Love the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the property and rooms. Parking fees were expensive ($20/day) and was not disclosed on the website.

The studio room was great. Nicely equipped kitchen with stovetop and full size refrigerator. Friendly staff that provides everything you need, breakfast was wonderful, fun sport court with basketball and pickle ball.

Very outdated property. In need of major upgrades. Our room felt dirty and had dirty carpet smell. The refrigerator was broken and making loud noise all night. The bed was worn out. Went to the pool, I had to use the skimmer to clean the leaves out of the water. Will not return unless it’s renovated.

Not clean at all. We found a used towel hanging next to the shower curtain. Toilet was also not clean. The extra sheet even had red stains. Parking space is very limited even though we paid for parking. Not pleasant experience. The front desk staff Tanner? was not friendly. When I gave my feedback about the dirty towel, he just said “you can just leave your comments at some apps, and our manage will take a look at.”. I was disappointed at his response because what I expected was: Sorry about that. I’ll report this to our manager and enhance the cleanliness. Good part: Breakfast and breakfast serving staffs are very nice and friendly. Overall: Not a pleasant experience and will not stay in this hotel again.

Stayed in two rooms during my stay because the first room was filthy. Had little kids walking around and their feet were black from dirt. There was also mold in the shower. They had us moved, only to a room that also had mold in the shower. Called back later to let them and they said engineering came by and confirmed it wasn’t mold, but it very clearly was. Hotel rate was fair, but I’ll probably spend more elsewhere and not have to worry about where I shower.

Great affordable property. Older property, but they clean it well. Would stay again!

The TV in the living room and bedroom did not work. The living room TV had a busted screen from the bottom left corner to the top right corner. The sound on the TV in the bedroom was faulty and kept going in and out. The kitchen sink was dirty. It had sticky stuff all over the handles. There was mold in the shower and the microwave was not wiped down and had food on the top inside of the microwave.

Clean room..n friendly staff

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and had a couple of issues. The bathroom sink was clogged and I had to request a plumber to come and fix it. It took him an hour but the issue was resolved. Additionally, there were several small flies in the room. I would find them dead on the study table and bed, and the cleaners would leave them there. The cleaners did a very poor job in cleaning the room and only vacuumed once upon request during my 2 week stay. There were very limited breakfast options for vegetarians. Lastly, after I checked out, I saw a charge of $600 and $300 on my credit card although I never got any room service nor purchased much from their market place. I had laundry done twice and was charged $20 everyday for parking my vehicle, but that still should not result in a $900 charge. I had an ok stay at this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it for the price they charge. I paid around $2600 for my stay, and on top of that was charged an extra $900.

Hotel staff are very nice from the front desk to the kitchen. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Our room was not very clean with long hairs left in the shower and dirty closet tracks. The bath mat was so frayed it should have been taken to the trash.

Good experience with no high expectations. It does feel outdated with the hallway and inside the room. It definitely needs renovation. The sofa bed is not comfortable at all. Recommend getting 2 beds instead. It’s a clean property. The breakfast is subpar but it’s free. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Our stay was good and it was really close to places and parks we wanted to visit. The beds weren't very comfortable and the rooms could use an upgrade, particularly the furniture.

The bed was very small and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was too loud and too close to the bed. We woke up by the noise of the air conditioner several time at night.

We enjoyed the setup of the room. It was a great size and had everything we needed. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and offered a great selection. We noticed was that some furniture was very worn and peeling. The refrigerator was dented in several spots on the outside. This gave the room a less clean look although it was clean. Otherwise it was a great stay. We would return again.

Bathtub paint was chipping and falling off. Furniture seemed clean but super out dated and made the room feel dark

We booked a two-bedroom suite. The room is big enough for six people, and the kitchen is clean and convenient for a family. The staff are very friendly.

Property and rooms were very clean. Room wasn’t very spacious, we had a one bedroom and it was cramped with the king bed. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable as was the sofa. It creaked and was not very firm. The dining chairs padding was worn and you sank down into them. Parking was $15 a day which I knew upfront but it wasn’t secured parking although it was a safe area around the hotel. Breakfast options were heavy carbs and sugar. Even the waffles had sugar on them. Breakfast sandwiches instead of just eggs. No usb ports so take your own. Check in staff was not friendly but the management made sure it was rectified. We were by an entrance door and close to the elevator and we heard sounds all night. I honestly expected more for the price.

The front desk lady was really rude and unprofessional. Our room was just by the busy street and very noisy. Our three day stay was like a nightmare. I would give 0 star if I could.

Very friendly staff from front desk, to buffet staff to house cleaning.

Drunken group of people gathered at the pool/jacuzzi/fireplace area, which I guess about half of the hotel rooms had to face, and kept talking very loud until after 1:30 AM even though it was said quiet hours after 10:00 PM. Seemed no intervention by the hotel stuff. The same happened on the second night as well. Not recommended for families.

Very friendly and helpful staffs

I absolutely love Bonna at the front desk. Her customer service is out of this world. I always book this hotel because it's convenient to to get to the activities I have planned. I love it here and the staff keep it clean. Please guys I pray that you keep up the good work so that others may feel the same way I do and make this their go to spot for years to come.

From the check in to the breakfast to the check out I received the most amazing customer service. I come to this location multiple times a year and the service is always awesome. Keep doing what you're doing.

Hotel very comfortable, but there were no hand lotion like most hotels. Coffee maker just a very cheap one with weak coffee. Location was too far from dining options nearby. In very high tech business park.

Staff Cathy was very hospitable and accommodating. Hotel is a bit Old but rooms are spacious. Location is a little bit odd in between factories , offices and a big Parking building.

A lot of construction going on immediately all around the hotel

Empty hotel and they place me adjacent to loud construction.

Located within an industrial area, however, it was both clean and quiet and there was sufficient shopping and dining within walking distance. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

Worst breakfast offerings I've had in years. Overcrowded eating room. Major construction on adjacent property so noise, dust, and driving were problems. Also had horrible guests over my head which I realize was not the hotel's fault. Maids use door latch to catch door while cleaning so they can frequently access their carts. Doors slam into those latches every morning. Also very isolated location.

The room i booked was perfect for my family. It allowed me to cook for my family since my husband is on a diet restriction. There was plenty of space for my teenage children to sleep. In addition all the location we wanted to visit were only 15-20 minutes drive, which is not too bad since the I-805 was newrby. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at this place again if we are in San Dieog area.

The property is in an industrial area with no nearby restaurants or retail stores. It's showing its age and is need of updating. The grounds outside need attention also.

Property is clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds are nice with courtyard, pool and pickleball court. Sofa bed is horrible. Parking can be a challenge and costs extra. No ice machines. You have to ask for small bags of ice from the front desk. Breakfast was not good. Eggs are really bad and no toast. Most hotels now have fresh waffle makers or pankcake machine. This one had neither. Coffee was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a couple of things that kind of shocked us. We had to pay for parking, in the hotel parking lot, even though we were staying there. The parking fee should be posted when booking the room. I know we booked our rooms back in March, however we should have been notified immediately. It may have changed where we would have stayed. The other thing we weren't prepared for were the prices in the little convenience store at the hotel. There were no grocery stores really close to the hotel, as this is in a business district. A frozen macaroni and cheese meal was $13 , and we were also charged a restaurant tax even though this is not a sit-down establishment. I'm assuming that's a law in California. However the breakfast in the morning was great, along with access to the basketball court, pool, and hot tub. The area was quiet. And we would like to give a shout out to Trevor at the front desk, our son had various questions about places to visit while we were in San Diego and Anaheim, and he took the time to talk with him and give him ideas on where to visit!

Fair amount of noise from basketball court right outside my window as I tried to sleep. Missing significant number of food items, plates and bowls for free breakfast, resulting in my simply having a cup of coffee and nothing else
