Upon arrival, the front desk was unattended and was not paying attention constantly on his phone. I asked for clean towels and sheets. He gave me one towel and one sheet, but only after waiting almost an hour and was given the wrong room number and keys. After finally getting into the room, I went to take a shower where the plumbing system did not work and filled the tub with dark murky water. Still needing to wash my body I got in the shower using the one clean towel I was given. Upon exiting the shower, I noticed bugs that looked like roaches. I discredit it as water bugs. But quickly realized they were roaches when I went to change the sheets and saw a roach laying in the middle of the bed. I killed it and removed all the beds, sheeting and pillows promptly. I was going to cook food but salt roach come from under the microwave as well as another one coming from behind the TV. This is a very uncomfortable day. I informed the manager in which she stated she would refund this day if not accommodate me with another room, but then later change the story saying that I would have to pay for another room and only receive $20 off after receiving such a terrible accommodation.

There were cockroaches! Literally cockroaches! I opened the desk drawer, and cockroaches! I couldn’t think of sleeping when I had to keep all the lights on! Oh, did I mention cockroaches!! Disgusted.

Unsafe and Misleading Property I was unable to stay at this hotel because the condition of the property and room was unacceptable. As soon as we arrived and got out of the car, a vagrant nearby began yelling at us. While I don't know the reason, it immediately made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The stairs leading to the room were also in poor condition, with large chunks of concrete missing and no signs indicating repairs were planned. The biggest issue was the room itself. It looked absolutely nothing like the photos online. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and so disappointing that I walked in, took one look around, and walked right back out. I had booked a two-night stay, but there was no way I could spend even a single night there. I asked the staff if they would refund the second night and allow me to pay for just the first night, but they refused. As a result, I forfeited the entire cost of my reservation and booked another hotel instead. I share some responsibility for not purchasing the trip protection I thought I had selected, but I also believe booking platforms should do a better job of verifying the properties they promote. This experience was bad enough that I chose to lose the money rather than stay there. My advice: stick with reputable hotel brands whenever possible.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life, cockroaches walking on the walls. TV didn’t work. You could feel the water collected underneath the shower. Every time you stepped into the shower, water would come out from the floor. It smell really bad. The air quality in the room was horrible. It almost smell like the room had mold or has mold. It did not feel safe there people outside doing drugs it almost felt like a homeless shelter and when I went to report it or to move rooms all we were told is that there’s nothing they could do but they can send somebody to fix the TV.
