Great location near the Marina and the beach. Easy walk to State Street with all of the action, and easy walk to the beach. Tucked into a neighborhood, has a bed and breakfast feel. We went on Saturday 7/12 and the young man at the front desk was VERY hospitable and welcoming. Gave great restaurant recommendations which were spot on. There was free onsite parking which we were able to use. Our room had a balcony and fireplace. Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. Easy parking, with no extra charges. Kind and helpful staff, delicious coffee and breakfast. Loved the homemade cookies when we arrived. Beautiful room, quiet. Would go back again.

Very close to the beach and restaurants in a quiet neighborhood, great breakfast, pretty fancy coffee machine in the lobby, the whole family had a great time.

This property really surprised me. It’s the extras they do to make you feel special! I brought my bike and they had a shed to keep it safe when I wasn’t using it. There were snacks everyday at 3. Complimentary breakfast and the service was impeccable. Everybody we encountered were so pleasant and welcoming! Great location in a cute neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is in a great location; beach, marina, wharf, restaurants all walkable. We had a car, so all the town was very easy to reach. Nice breakfast daily, and 24 hour coffee/latte/cocoa machine in the lobby. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Also, the 1.5 hour trolley tour from the visitor center was well worth the price.

Was clean and well located. It has a parking lot but that can get full so you might have to park on the street which was safe enough. Breakfast is included but there are also tons of food options within walking distance since it close to the Funk zone, the pier and the beach. Its got an old fashioned vibe which may not be everyone's cup of tea but thats more a personal preference than a ding.

Delicious breakfasts! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Staff is incredibly friendly. Espresso machine available 24 hours. We took advantage of the free bikes twice! We were sad to leave. We'd absolutely stay at the Eagle Inn again!

Beautifully done in old Spanish or Mediterranean style. Spotless.breakfasts were very good,loved sitting on the patio to eat.

I liked the location. The room is pretty large. Free parking. The breakfast is nice. I visited when egg prices were at an all time high. What I didn’t like room had a mildew odor , i bought Lysol to reduce the smell it worked for about 15 -30 minutes. I had room with “ soaking tub” although it had jets most didn’t work. And seems there is No intention to repair. Evening Guest Services guy was 5Star service! !

The Eagle Inn is so quaint and lovely. Although the building is a bit on the older side, it is kept up beautifully and clean. It was very comfortable and the staff was wonderful.

Definitely a great place to stay! This is more of a boutique style hotel so if you are looking for more of a modern type stay like a Hilton or something this wouldn’t be it but it is a very nice stay nonetheless! Everything is pretty walkable distance and the area is very safe and felt comfortable in our room

The hotel was fine, no super fancy or anything. But the service was great. The young guy at the Front desk was super friendly and helpful. Room was pretty small, but it’s a very good location.

Charles was also very helpful and kind to me and all of the guests who checked in. The ambiance at this lovely boutique hotel was unmatched! The included breakfast was consistently delicious! And the beach...no words. If you are lucky enough to book a stay at the Eagle Inn I would highly recommend it! I'll be back for sure!

The room we booked was not what we received. The room was completely underwhelming. To top it off, the lights and ceiling fan didn’t work properly. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was because of the “gourmet breakfast” that was included each morning. Breakfast is served from 8-10am. We arrived before 9:30 and were told they were out of a number of items. For the outrageous price we were charged, we should have stayed at a motel 6 because that was what we received. We also called and asked before we booked if they had a place for us to charge and store our e-bikes. They said yes, which was a lie. We then had to walk our bikes up a flight of stairs and store/charge them in our room. When we asked to check out early the next morning because the room/hotel was not what we paid for, the manager informed us he would not give us a refund of the unused nights because they couldn’t open the reservation/room to anyone else and they would be losing money. I then proceeded to be on the phone with hotels.com for over 6 hours trying to switch hotels or figure out a better option. After being charged an additional $700 by hotels.com to switch hotels, they messed up the reservation and we did NOT have another room. They offered to compensate us $87 for the inconvenience. Worst hotel experience ever. We will NEVER return and suggest you don’t waste your time or money either. And shame on hotels.com for their poor handling of the situation as well.

We really enjoyed our stay! So easy to walk to beach and great restaurants! The inn was well decorated and the building and grounds very pretty. The breakfast was special with the daily new dish. The presentation of breakfast from the outdoor patio to the indoor dining room was amazing. You could even have it delivered to your room. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area, especially Peter! Great customer service by all!

I think there are a lot of nice things about this inn but with that said, there were things that really degraded the stay (especially given the cost--with taxes it was about $450). First, we checked in and were given the keys to our room but when we got there, it was not ready...it was probably at least 20 minutes, but the main problem was how rude the person at the front desk was when we finally got into our room and I called to tell him about it. He was very sarcastic about it and also snide when I asked for clarity regarding where to park our car (it was in front of our casa but it blocked a driveway with other spaces, so I wanted to double-check). Also, the placement of synthetic rose petals all over the bed and jacuzzi tub (a lot of them) really put me off--it seemed like something you'd find in a 1970's era Las Vegas motel. I didn't even use the tub because I didn't want to touch them--kind of disgusting actually. Some of the nice things are the location and the breakfast--the women working were very nice. I think it has potential, but the cost, rudeness, and tacky elements downgraded it significantly.

Nestled in neighborhood with easy beach / harbor / wharf access, The Eagle Inn is a great choice for a quiet getaway. We opted to drive to State Street for most dining. Parking in city lots is free for first 75 mins. The inn staff was friendly and responsive. The in-house breakfast cafe serves great made to order options. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute property with easy access to harbor and state st

Definitely a great place to stay! This is more of a boutique style hotel so if you are looking for more of a modern type stay like a Hilton or something this wouldn’t be it but it is a very nice stay nonetheless! We had a wonderful stay. It was in a quiet neighborhood. They had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies out every evening and a basket with candy. They give you a metal water container to have and they had a dispenser for hot and cold water. The breakfast was very good every morning. They had a menu you could choose from and it came with fresh fruit and orange juice. I couldn’t believe how fast they prepared the scrambled eggs, bacon and a toasted English muffin. You could sit indoors and outdoors. We definitely want to go back and stay there again!
