Hampton Inn Los Angeles/Santa Clarita

Closes too early, no one is there, and done with dinner in time for the hot tub to close at 7 pm. Every hotel I stay in has a hot tub that closes at 10 PM. This was one of the main reasons I chose to stay at the location. Disappointed.

Parking is a major problem but hotel is good overall

Hotel smelled like “wet dog”. Our room wasn’t cleaned until requested after 4 days of the stay. Breakfast quality was ok. One of the two elevators was broken which led to long waits and often we simply just used the stairs. Used the self laundry facilities during our 5 day stay and the washers and dryers were incredibly dirty and not cleaned.

This was a clean hotel with nice sized room in a good location. The hot tub did not work and there was no effort to fix it.

One of the elevators was broken and the other was extremely slowwwwww. Plus the coffee machine broke so no coffee on Sunday. Except in the room which isn’t enough for two people since my husband drank all of it and I had none. But overall very nice!

I loved the property my god the elevator takes far too long to come to your floor, and only one side works it seems. That’s my only complaint. Also it may be best to have cameras in the back of the property as a guest hit my car, then hit me (my body) attempting the flee, they did indeed hit me and ran, I reported it to the police. The parking lot is often very crowded and there’s just not enough space for all guest if the hotel is fully booked.

Coffee was good and hotel was comfortable. Check in was easy and receptionists were friendly. Gym was good too.

We stayed here on a larger trip and planned to run laundry as it was a halfway point. They have laundry online showing as $2 a load but it was $3 a load and they had no quarters to make change. We had to run to a gas station to get enough. The staff was friendly and breakfast was fine, just disappointed it cost us extra time and money.

Only one elevator works. Bathtub dripped constantly. Had call front desk to have light bulb replaced twice. Noisy hallway and noise from above. At breakfast, coffee was empty. Asked front desk about more coffee and was not done before we left for the day. We have stayed here before and service was much better!

The entire hotel was disgusting! There were no parking spots; and the front desk did nothing to help. I had to find alternative parking. There was throw up in the elevator; and when we informed the front desk they insinuated that we had done it; even though an extremely intoxicated woman and her husband checked in right before we had. (We don’t drink btw). The room was gross; there was no remote for tv. When we asked for one the front desk said we were just out of luck. There was music playing in the hallway all night. This was one of the worst stays I have ever had in a hotel and I would sleep in my car before I stayed there again.

This property was extremely clean, great parking, excellent breakfast with lots of options, friendly staff, and rooms were really nice. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

I let the gentleman know that my room smelled. It smelled like throw up. He said he woikd send facilities to do something and it never happened. I was too tired to ask for another room. I used a body spray to help with the smell.

Really upset that when we were getting ready to check out of the room, we spotted a cockroach crawling in bed next to my 5 year old daughter. Also the walls were very thin, and we could hear people having s*x and others yelling. I didn’t get much sleep because doors were slamming all of the time. I even could hear someone urinating in their toilet and flushing.. if that tells you how thin the walls are. I went to the pool by myself and felt very uncomfortable getting stared at the entire time by a group of men sitting at the table. DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK!

Clean rooms, comfy bed and courteous staff

Stayed there 2 different occasions on the same week. Both times rooms smelled awful, bathroom smell was worse.

We stayed on the 4th floor and once we got off the elevator the carpets were dirty and really worn. The room was okay and the walls of the bathroom were dirty. We were traveling and needed a place to stay for the night so it worked out, but I would not stay at this hotel again during our next travel.

It was just right, the room was in a noisy location, the air conditioning was loud, plastic silverware for breakfast, and only water was given to Hilton honest

The price of the hotel was reasonable. It was clean, easy access to the freeway. Tehe staff was friendly and helpful. I did not like the size of the room. It was smaller than an average hotel room. Bathroom was small. Thermostat was not working. It was stuck on heat and the fan would not stay on. The room was small and hot. There were no proper closets, just a wall rack with hangers covered by curtains. The only elevator working was very slow.

The bed was terrible. Room was nice, great bathroom. Had all the things you need, closet accommodations, great AC. Great places to eat that were within walking distance. Really close to the highway, so it was easy to get back on the road. But the bed was the so hard, the carpet might have been softer. I feel like the bed is the most important part of travel, I had to drive long hours on only a few hours of sleep with and an achy back.

I would never stay at this hotel again. My biggest problem is there are no microwaves in the room. Yet they sell frozen food in the lobby. I was gnashing on frozen lasagna while starving. What kind of hotel does not have a microwave in the room? Also it was in a very busy part of town. And some delusional psychopath was complaining about how he was being followed by people from Burbank so he was leaving. The clerk was very nice about this, "I'm sorry you had to go through that." But we all knew he was nuts and we were trapped in hell, where they expected me to come hang out with him to microwave my frozen lasagna. No thank you. I'd rather gnaw on it frozen than go back and hang out with that crowd. My advice is to avoid this hotel at all costs. Other hotels have microwaves in the rooms so you don't have to hang out with psychotic people in the lobby just to get a meal. Brr. I shiver still thinking about it.

We stayed on the 3rd floor Room is clean and comfortable but smaller than the room I stay last time. Lot of towels but no water pressure for the shower. Breakfast nice but very basic. I didn’t see any decaf coffee.

Nice hotel Convenient to the freeway Bed was comfy. Room was a bit small but clean There was no microwave? No clock ? The fridge was on a two hour timer and shut off during the night. Not sure why Otherwise it was pleasant and had a nice dog run in the back.

Constantly woke up from the noise from people outside the room. Can hear everything from inside my room.

We enjoyed our stay here, but compared to other Hampton Inn locations that we’ve stayed at, we felt that this one wasn’t quite up to par. The rooms weren’t especially clean. AC unit was loud and a little smelly. No handsoap in the bathroom. The bathroom door was in an awkward location next to one of the beds. The breakfast wasn’t quite up to par compared to other locations either. There were lots of restaurants in the area for those interested. I think I saw a McDonalds, IHOP, Outback, and at least a few others.

The room itself was excellent. We also appreciated the breakfast. The one thing that caused us problems was the air conditioner. It seem to blow out very cold air right to the bed, but when it cycled off, it was too hot.

Overall, the place was clean, conveniently located right across from In-N-Out, and the breakfast was well-prepared, which was nice. However, since sleep is the most important thing, it was unfortunate that I couldn’t sleep deeply due to the window not closing completely. The constant noise from the main road and the sound of the air conditioning unit were disruptive, and the sunlight streaming through the sides of the blinds woke me up early in the morning.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a solo work trip, and while my overall stay was good, my check-in experience was less than ideal. I arrived late, around 11 PM, after a long day and a five-hour drive. The receptionist was very polite and gave me a key to my room on the third floor. However, when I got to the room, the key didn’t work. I went back downstairs, and she kindly gave me two more keys, but neither worked. At this point, I was getting frustrated as I was tired and had to make multiple trips back and forth between the first and third floors. The receptionist then came up with me, using a master key. Unfortunately, when we entered the room, it was already occupied by a couple sleeping. It was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, especially given the late hour (around 11:30 PM). The receptionist was apologetic and clearly embarrassed, and I felt bad for the couple, too. After waiting another 15 minutes, I was finally given a room on the first floor. While I appreciated her efforts, the whole ordeal took about 45 minutes, which was frustrating considering how exhausted I was. Mistakes happen, but situations like this, especially late at night, are really inconvenient. Despite the hiccup, the staff’s politeness and eventual resolution of the issue were positives. However, I hope the hotel improves its system to prevent this kind of mix-up in the future.

We arrived to check-in late night. The hotel was open but no one was at the desk to check us in. We waited 45 min and finally the desk attendant showed up. I called hotels.com to see if we could get another hotel, since it was a quick stop over for a business trip and we were exhausted. The hotel was left unsecured and completely open, which was shocking from a business perspective.

The female person that checked us in was so courteous, professional, happy, answered all our questions and was just so great! As a senior it was a breath of fresh air to have a young person to be so great!!!!

Honestly the Hampton is a nice hotel. My primary grievance with the visit involved a power outage. I understand that losing power is outside the control of the hotel and it was restored relatively fast. The Wifi, however, remained down afterward all the way until checkout the following day. When I called the front desk to inquire about it I received the equivalent of a nonchalant shrug. Not even an apology for the inconvenience.

Stayed here for about a week. it was a wonderful stay. Staff were kind and attentive, hot breakfast was good and varied each day, and the room was quiet and comfortable.

From check in to check out the service was quite amazing. Had issues with neighboring room being too loud, they did not hesitate to move me rooms. Everything was excellent

My partner and I stayed for a just and we really enjoyed how close it was to 6 flags and other restaurants without having to go too far! Easy access to the free way if needed!

Our check-in was good and relatively quick. Very pleasant reception upon arriving. Clean room. The breakfast was a little disappointing, the food was a little cold and dry. But I do understand that it was a holiday weekend, so I know it was busy.

The breakfast didn’t live up to the hype. Each day we went they were out of almost everything and the employee working it seemed to not care to restock. Even showed a bit of attitude when someone asked if they are going to replenish food. Overall the stay was quiet and the room was efficient enough for what we needed.

The room was great - very clean and in excellent condition. Unfortunately most breakfast items had run out at about 8:00 am, so we left rather hungry.

Great stay! Great value! But..pillows are flat hard time sleeping with flat pillows. Eggs and sausage for breakfast not too good… but I loved it overall!
