Maple Tree Inn is an above-average hotel experience. Cons: The complimentary breakfast service is okay. Their scrambled egg options could use a little love in terms of how they make them, but other than that, the breakfast is servicable. I used their fitness center during my stay, and it could definitely use some updating. The space is small even for a hotel fitness center, and the machine configuration makes it difficult to lay out a mat to stretch or do floor exercises. Our room did have a few ants here and there. Staff came up with a carton of bug-killer spray to get rid of them. Obviously, I'm unsure if other rooms have had the same issue, but my brother who stayed with me has a big phobia, so it's something to consider if you do as well. Pros: The location of the hotel is near many diverse restaurants and shopping stores such as Target, Trader Joe's, and Best Buy. The area itself makes for a nice morning or evening stroll. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever stayed on! Not too hard and not too soft, and I'm saying this as someone with chronic back pain. The linens were nice and soft as well. They provide you with additional pillows and blankets in-room upon arrival already, too. The size of the hotel is nice, too. It's smaller, but that's nice, because no matter which floor you're on, you don't need to traverse a million miles of hallway just to make it to the building's entrance and exit. The staff are super sweet as well.

Hotel was clean and presentable. I was told I could check in 1 hour earlier, but when I got there, there was no room available, so had to wait around for 1 hour. At night, all parking spaces were taken, no where to park.

Booked at hotel to use the pool. Their pool is always clean, well stocked with towels, surrounded by trees and lounge chairs. When it’s warm out I like to stay here to use their pool and cool off. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Clientele is professional late 20’s to early 50’s. Rarely see children here

Very clean room we left the pool. The breakfast had a huge selection. We personally saw the staff cleaning after breakfast every day. It’s immaculate. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Got a GrubHub order delivered to the lobby. The lady let me know right away plus was able to give me silverware. Enjoyed the right weight room, pool, hot tub cable everything great.

This place worked well for our purposes, which was to avoid commute traffic for an early AM medical appointment. The pool is nice; the spa wasn't working which was disappointing. There are signs about a bar and hospitality hour but come 5PM, nothing happened so maybe that's a weekend only thing. The hot breakfast was above average, though the toaster was broken. Compared to similar properties in the area, this place is priced attractively. I would stay there again.

Amazing hotel for the price. There is a large area near the pool with a BBQ area. The breakfast is a full buffet with eggs, sausage and even rice for kids who like plain things. The room are large and comfortable. The TV has a good selection of free entertainment.

The staff is very friendly and the room was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was definitely on the better end with a wide selection of options. Good location as well, most things you'll want to go do/see is 15-20 minutes away Tops. Only real issue I had was the parking was suboptimal. Probably only really an issue with large events happening in the area, but still was frustrating trying to figure out late in the evening.

I stay at this hotel often, and it’s always very clean and comfortable. The shower has strong water pressure, the surroundings are nice, and the breakfast is great. The only downside is the desk lamp — it’s really too dim. Every time I try to work at the desk, it strains my eyes. I’ve never understood why the hotel doesn’t upgrade the lamp, because everything else here is excellent.

First of all the condition of the bedding. The sheets had an horrendous smell. What ever they used to clean or not I wasn't able to sleep. The smell was so strong that left most unpleasant smell on my skin. Fortunately after bathing it went away. Did they even washed the linen? What did they use? Was it something foreign? When I spoke with the staff their attitude was definitely of "so what?". I was supposed to stay an additional night checked out the next morning. Even the breakfast buffet looked so unapetizing.

For a couple of hours after entering the room, we were puzzled by some dark brown sticky lines appearing on our palms. We struggled to wash them off by rubbing a lot of soap. Finally, we realized the edge of a table in the room had some sticky/greasy stuff - a lot of it. When wiped with a hand sanitizer wipe, it made the whole wipe brown! We showed it to the front desk person, and they just apologized for it.

We have stayed a number of times here and the place on a whole was great. We did notice the sheets had some stains (appeared to be old blood). There was also also a smell of dog urine in the room as we walked in. I know we were staying in a room where pets were allowed as we had my husband's service dog with us, but we did not expect this.

One star for staff & service, one star for the cleanliness, one star for the price, but! The noise is real. The wall is so thin, I can hear CLEARLY people talking (so clearly can hear every single word, feel like they are talking at my ears) from the rooms in my left and right, I got disrupted so many times throughout my sleep by the rooms from left/right and the room above me, def did not have a great sleep at all. I raised it up to the front desk lady she was nice and helpful, she offered a room change even though the only available one was still a connecting room, but at least there wouldn’t be noise from the floor above and people in rooms next to me possibly would not talk all night. The next night ended up being fine. I slept with the tv noise next door but it was ok and at least no ppl talking or making any noise, and was quiet from the middle of night to next morning. I still would not recommend for people who want a great sleep or who can easily wake up due to noise. I would consider myself as someone not usually easily disrupted by noise while sleeping, but even that still woke up several times in my first night. The Room is very clean which is a plus.

It's a great place to stay! Centrally located and restaurants are within walking distance. Everyone at the reception desk is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast staff is just outstanding! They are so attentive to every detail, keeping the breakfast items always stocked up and refilled. The bedding is super comfortable and of good quality.

Good location and clean. I have only one complaint about the hotel but it's a big one: I absolutely HATED the bathroom, and when I tried to switch rooms I was informed that they're the same in every room: No lock on the door combined with a transparent glass shower with a transparent glass door=no privacy. The shower was designed by an IDIOT who thought it was a good idea to have to enter the shower to turn it on, while getting blasted with freezing cold water for almost a minute until it finally heated up. Because of the utterly stupid nature of the design, no matter how the shower head was positioned, the shower door allowed the water to get all over the bathroom floor and I had to mop up a huge puddle with a washcloth after every person in my family took a shower. I have never in all my life seen such a poor bathroom design in any hotel I have ever stayed at. First thing in the morning every single day, the bathroom pissed me off and put me in a bad mood. I would NEVER have come to this hotel had I known how pathetically the bathrooms were designed. I would have preferred to save myself the aggravation and stay at a Motel 6, even if it wasn't almost half the price as this hotel.

The internet was very unreliable. Hot kicked out of a meeting and the internet was out for three hours. Because of this i dont think I'd stay yhere again. Pool and hot tub were great and the people on staff were nice

The room was perfect, with coffee Maker, microwave and refrigerator. Delightful smelling shampoo and conditioner is provided in full size bottles, walk in bathroom showers were a good size. Only downside was the crispy white towels provided. Definitely needed fresh towels.

It's a great place to stay! Centrally located and restaurants are within walking distance. Everyone at the reception desk is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast staff is just outstanding! They are so attentive to every detail, keeping the breakfast items always stocked up and refilled. The bedding is super comfortable and of good quality.

The maple tree inn gave our reserved rooms away to someone else. Plus there were no other rooms available so we had to go to another hotel. All of this was at 1am. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences in my 20 years of traveling for a living. There was no help from the staff and no explanation as to why our reserved rooms were given to someone else.

I arrived early close to noon and asked if an early check-in was available. I was told no rooms would be available until 3pm and to come back at that time. I asked to use the restroom. A girl was using the single restroom to get ready for the concert and had all of her makeup and bags in it. My niece and I had driven 6 hours. We went to get lunch. When we came back at 2pm, they were putting people on a "list" to call when rooms became available. I decided to wait in the lobby and asked if I could get my name on the list. At 2:45, people started showing up and they were checking them into their rooms. It did not appear that they were calling people on the list. I decided to get in line because the lobby was filling up before 3pm. Then I was able to check into my room. One woman was not very welcoming or helpful when I initially arrived. She wasn't going to give me a key to the bathroom but luckily another woman was with her and gave me the key. Grace was working and was very professional and kind to me. I was very disappointed with this experience of staying at this hotel.

The hotel was clean. But service was subpar. We stayed one night. I asked for an extra bed and I agreed to pay an additional fee. The staff said it would be set up shortly. Hours later I asked about the setup but was told it could not be done because the responsible people had left. After much debate they put us in another room and agreed that we only pay for one room. After checkout many days later I saw in my credit card bill that I was charged for two nights for one night of stay. I called the hotel and was told I was charged only for one night. Maple Inn will forever be where I stay no matter where I need to go in the bay area. The neighborhood is quite and there are tons of restaurant choices within walking distance. The staff was so friendly and attentive, no matter what I asked for they delivered. The Inn feels warm and inviting unlike most places that have that slick, cold corporate feel. The room was super clean and expertly apointed. There's even a nice robe for you in the closet. There's a coffee, tea and cucumber water station 24/7 and well stocked vending machines on every floor. The breakfast buffet (which is complimentary) was way more than I expected. Scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, sausage, potatos, pancakes, bagels, muffins, fruit, chobani yogurt, rice and miso soup(my favorite) also cold and hot cereals. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to have your breakfast as it opens up right next to the dining room. I can't say enough good about it and I can't believe how reasonable the price was! Can't wait to go back.

Good location as well, most things you'll want to go do/see is 15-20 minutes away Tops. Only real issue I had was the parking was suboptimal. Probably only really an issue with large events happening in the area, but still was frustrating trying to figure out late in the evening.

We didn't know that you needed to request to have your room cleaned. Apparently we were supposed to have been told that upon check in, but did not receive the message until we asked. Not a biggie as we generally don't ask for our room to be cleaned until after about the third day. The air conditioning in the room is hard to control and the vent blows directly at the bed with no way to angle it. We ended up having to block the unit with our luggage or we'd be blasted with cold air throughout the night. Also, despite the website and listed amenities, there's no Hospitality Hour, but the complimentary breakfast was great!

Maple Tree Inn is an above-average hotel experience. Cons: The complimentary breakfast service is okay. Their scrambled egg options could use a little love in terms of how they make them, but other than that, the breakfast is servicable. I used their fitness center during my stay, and it could definitely use some updating. The space is small even for a hotel fitness center, and the machine configuration makes it difficult to lay out a mat to stretch or do floor exercises. Our room did have a few ants here and there. Staff came up with a carton of bug-killer spray to get rid of them. Obviously, I'm unsure if other rooms have had the same issue, but my brother who stayed with me has a big phobia, so it's something to consider if you do as well. Pros: The location of the hotel is near many diverse restaurants and shopping stores such as Target, Trader Joe's, and Best Buy. The area itself makes for a nice morning or evening stroll. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever stayed on! Not too hard and not too soft, and I'm saying this as someone with chronic back pain. The linens were nice and soft as well. They provide you with additional pillows and blankets in-room upon arrival already, too. The size of the hotel is nice, too. It's smaller, but that's nice, because no matter which floor you're on, you don't need to traverse a million miles of hallway just to make it to the building's entrance and exit. The staff are super sweet as well.

I was there for my business trip. It was a good experience, especially breakfast including rice and miso soup! I didn't feel welcome when I checked in first at the front desk. The lady took a while to chat with her friend/coworker to finish chatting, but other than that, I have no complain about my stay. Thank you!

Great location. Very good value. Not fancy, but a good option if you need to stay in the Silicon Valley. We were able to get clean towels every day with no issues. Housekeeping available if you want it. Breakfast is good, although it would be even better if the scrambled eggs were not overcooked. Will return!
