We were not happy with the hotel. Hotel needs an update. The rooms were not great. There was no elevator in the hotel. Breakfast was terrible. Only option to pick from was waffles or cereal. Could have had sausage, eggs and potatoes for part of the breakfast.

The room was good-sized and comfortable, but the adjoining rooms were noisy. There were noisy people hanging out right outside my window. The room floor was sticky. There were beetles in my room in the morning. The swimming pool was dirty and had foreign objects floating in it. The continental breakfast was extremely minimal although they did have DIY waffles. I am diabetic. The breakfast choices were oatmeal, waffles or breakfast cereal. There wasn't any yogurt or protein items. I chose this motel online because it was offered at a lower price than other locations around Denver.

Cockroaches, stained mattresses and the pool was closed for the season. I definitely paid too much for this place. Had I known any of those issues, especially the pool, I would have booked elsewhere.

What we liked, clean enough. Beds ok. What we didn't like, didn't feel safe. Pool area, pool was empty & had 3 mattresses & box springs, thrown in fenced pool area. Only had coffee station, for bkft. We slept poorly & left as early as we could.

Drug addicts/dealers right in the parking lot,the whole place smells of weed,people running up/down hallway,room is nasty,bathroom dirty. Room very out dated,pool isnt open. I could keep going cause there isn't any postive points..

Quick stay cheap room hot shower cool AC wasn't about to pay over $180 for similar stay. Practical rates, lit parking lot, ice machine, microwave and fridge in room, pool out of service, breakfast ok for free

It was awful. Super dirty. Everything. Nasty. The entire hotel was awake 24/7. You smell all the different drugs walking down the hall. No elevator. People were literally doing circles around the building on the inside constantly

Great location. Near many excellent restaurants Pool area was clean and well maintained. Older hotel but great value

Rooms did not look like what is on the website. Our rooms walls were dirty. No towels at the pool. The restroom was super small. It stuck outside. It was expensive to stay there.

There was plenty of room to stay. But the whole place reeked of smoke when in all honesty it's anti smoking hotel. Also don't even bother advertising about the pool.

Nothing like the pictures. Extremely dirty. They advertise free breakfast, and there was none. Saw an orange spider in the room.

I had a very disappointing stay at this Super 8. The property felt extremely old and poorly maintained. The lobby and rooms looked outdated and not clean. In my room, several pieces of wooden furniture were chipped and broken, the toilet and tub had visible stains, and the bed did not feel clean. On top of that, the room had a strong smoke odor that made the stay uncomfortable. I only stayed for about six hours before heading out on a hike the next morning, but that was more than enough to know I would not stay here again. I would not recommend this location to others.

We occupied two rooms. Both were dirty. Lots of dust. Hair on the sheets and trash in both rooms. I do not recommend

Hotels had roaches. Smelled of pot. Had a bullet hole in the window. Homeless hanging out around the door. And Prostitutes in the parking lot. Do not recommend especially if you have family with you.

Roaches, holes in the curtains from moths, blood stains on ceiling and curtains. Tubs for showers falling apart. Tiny toilet low on the ground. Smelly and non smoking inside not enforced. Old dirty furniture. Hairs everywhere on beds, shower. I took pictures. Not cheap for what they charge. Whindham should not put their name on that facility. Doesn’t look like pictures. Dirty overall!!!!

Our room was dirty, we had cigarette holes in both beds and blankets as well as our curtains.

The front door area of the lobby and the plexiglass of the front desk was dirty. The bathroom in the room had a resident cockroach. There was no water available in the hotel. There was a bright security light outside the window and curtains wouldn’t close enough to shut out the light. There were partial blackout curtains but they covered a quarter of the window. I could charge my iPhone by the bed because the outlets were so loose my phone was going on and off charge. Two stars is being generous. They wouldn’t give me receipt. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

checked into property front desk employee was on his own phone spoke in a very low voice so he was hard to hear lobby smelled strange got key went to room the floor was sticky, found cigarette burns and blood on one of the mattresses booked a room at another hotel and left immediately no apology from front desk staff or concern no offer to put us in another room he only wanted to know if the room was still clean

I booked this hotel because of location, the hallway smells really bad. My room was a non-smoking room and the bed sheets had cigarette burn holes. The walls are also stained & had peanut butter smeared on them. Stains on the beside lamp shades as well. Moths kept getting into my room throughout the night and there were spiderwebs by the vanity so to me it just seems this place hasn’t been wiped/cleaned properly in a long time. My shower was clogged when I attempted to take a shower. The hotel room’s phone didn’t work. The bathroom door had a huge red stain that looks like it got painted over a couple of layers terribly and it was very unsettling. As for the loud noises, I heard doors slamming at all hours of the night that actually woke me up from my sleep multiple times, I was on the second floor far away from the front desk. I checked out a day early because I was very uncomfortable, I tried calling the property to discuss a payment issue and was being polite when trying to explain my issue and when I asked to be emailed my fees the man started speaking to me in a rude tone. I understand the price for this hotel is very inexpensive but I don’t want anyone else making the same mistake I did, it is much better to just spend a couple of extra dollars and stay somewhere sanitary.

I purchased two rooms for myself and our guests. One room had approximately 5 rubber bands holding the showerhead together. There were multiple cigarette burns in the bedspread of the non-smoking room. The room smelled like marijuana and another scent unrecognizable. The other room had unrecognizable odors. The smoke detector was missing the battery. There were bugs in the light fixture. The hallways and stairs did not look like they were cleaned over an extended period of time. The handrails were sticky. There was no ice in any of the ice machines which appeared to be broken.

Hotel was old but clean. Bathroom very small and bed was too firm for my liking.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Our room was just above reception so was a bit noisy - one further from the stairs wools be better.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the building is dated and it shows. Hallway lights have a green cast, the air conditioning in the common areas and halls is lacking, and the hot water was intermittent.

The beds were really hard. The bathroom was clean, but the bathtub had no plug. The complimentary breakfast was not that great. The waffle mix and juice ran out early, and there was not much else. The staff was very helpful and kind, but the hotel itself was run down.

Cheapest option around, if just staying overnight it’ll do. Could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly, found make up smeared on hair dryer. Basic cable available. AC was decent. Next to Chick-fil-A and 7eleven, there were a few people hanging around the 7eleven but none on property.

We are used to dealing with cheap dated hotels to get a smoking room, this place was better than expected from its reviews. I do not subtract points for old furnishings, wear, etc. It was clean. Fridge worked. Neighborhood is not as bad as other reviewers said, we were not harrassed by other guests or locals. Nearby is the best 24hr IHOP we've ever been to. TV had a big stripe through the screen and it was impossible to hook my firestic up. Oh well, will deal with that for our habit. Points subtracted bc SHOWER DID NOT WORK. NOTHING. So took sink baths for 3 days. Didn't bother to ask for it to be fixed. I'm sure it wouldn't have been fixed at midnight, otherwise we were busy out or sleeping. I do not let cheap hotel staff into my room when I'm not there, stuff goes missing. Showering now at our next stop, I bet they'll have fun with the next guest who thinks a smoking room comes with a shower.

The building itself was in a bit of disrepair. Seems like it hasnt been updated ever. The trim along the hallway was ragged, the carpet was gross looking. The wood surfaces in the room, the bottom of the bathroom door as nd the cabinets, were all broken or worn out. The peephole in the door was gone and there was paper stuffed in it. We were in a non-smoking room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Enough that my clothes the next day smelled like cigarettes.

Don’t believe the pictures you see on here of the rooms, nor or the lobby. The room was ok, but I thought I was getting what was in the picture. The tv service sucked and the bathrooms are tiny as hell.

Convenient for a quick stay in the Denver metro area. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions or requests.

Staff accomodated request for ground floor rooms due to mobility problems of elderly guests.

Honestly, he whole issue was with the front desk staff. They were difficult and impatient.

I left small travel cooler of tea, food/snacks, and a gallon jug water in fridge and called them less than an hour after checked out to let them know I plan to retrieve my stuff in about an hour. They dumped my stuff in trash.

There is a $60 deposit required for check in, on top of the price of the room. The sink was leaking and had to have staff fix it as to not lose my $60 deposit for being blamed for poor upkeep. There was obvious drug activity throughout the parking lot and the building itself. Absolutely no protein served with breakfast.

The staff here was amazing. Very helpful and friendly.

Manjed (not sure of spelling) checked us in quickly. There were no customers needing service and he assisted us with bringing our luggage to our room! Awesome service! He was kind and informative. Answered all of our questions and was so helpful helping with directions!! Definitely would stay again!

Booked the room through Expedia, was under the impression that what It said I was paying was actually what I was paying… Nope. A refundable deposit required as well… only had enough in my bank for the room itself, but not the deposit. He still charged the room to my card then told me my card was declined for the deposit, so I offered to pay the deposit in cash. He refused at first telling me that the money will go back on my card the next day and then I could try again then… thing is, it was midnight and I had just flown in from Reno, NV. and had NOWHERE else to stay and no extra money card was and all I had at this point was cash… THANKFULLY after about 10 minutes of bickering, the guy accepted my cash, but that took every dollar I had for food and travel down to Colorado Springs the next day… thankfully I was able to have someone deposit one of my paychecks back home so I had money to get through the rest of the trip… 1/10 experience for sure… Rooms were clean and comfortable so I will at LEAST give them that. But yeah. Be prepared to pay the extra deposit if you’ve booked second party!!

You can tell there have been issues at this hotel in the past due to the various notes posted on the doors (ie one advising you can't have visitors at the hotel at each entrance). Hotel also requires staff inspect your room upon check out, or you do not get a required $60 deposit back. I've never seen a hotel do this, so it was...odd. I'm sure there's a story behind why, but just plan on checking out taking a bit longer than normal; more if several guests are checking out around the same time.

It was close to some decent restaurants but the area of town was a little sketchy. Overall it wasn’t bad.

The staff was great, the neighborhood was awful, and the building has aged poorly. The closed Quality Inn next door is now homeless housing, and that makes transportation not by vehicle sketchy; do not walk to the nearby Walmart at night. If my family was with me, I wouldn't have stayed on property.

Overall it was a great experience. A few restaurants and convince store in a walking distance. Just breakfast wasn't that good.

Lots of stores and restaurants close by. Easy to get to from A line train.

Unless you are packing your own 9MM, I would not recommend this place, especially if you have a family that you love with you. Perhaps I'm sheltered, but with all of the homeless wandering around there and people tweeking out from whatever they are on, I just didn't feel safe. Luckily my family was NOT with me, so I stayed anyway. Might have been worth the extra $200 to stay at the Renaissance. Heck, I'd just pick an entirely different area to stay.

Good location, close to restaurants and walmart

The staff was lovely. It was initially a bit confusing as to where to check in due to the fact that it is two companies in one with only one check in location... Unfortunately, the breakfast included was quite sub-par.:( We actually stopped for breakfast after we left as neither one of us ate, aside from my husband having coffee, and neither one of us are at ALL picky/choosey eaters!

They offer a free breakfast that consists of very watered down juices, coffee, toast, a fruit, brownies the size of a 50 cent coin and waffles you make your self. There is a lot of homeless people in the area who come in to eat and the paying customers can't get to the waffles most days.
