Days Inn level accommodations at Marriott prices. No fridge, smaller than usual rooms, and expensive but unhelpful valet. This was my first experience with valet not offering to pull my suitcases out. When checking out, we called valet from the room and came out to find our car parked with no attendant, then after waiting 5 minutes by our car had to go fetch our own keys.

Parking is expensive and terrible to sort. I rented a car to see the sites for two days and parked the car the other two days never moving it $42. No in/out privileges around the corner across the street no attendant. Event was at the Colorado Convention Center very convenient and great food within walking distance.

The valet parking is helpful but pricey. The "forced air master AC" in the hotel really did nothing. A 90 degree day in the city and a 16th floor room was very warm the entire time. 1 of the 2 elevators broke down and was inconvenient. Both mornings the breakfast was sparse-- like they forgot to order food for the busy weekend. Ran out of waffle batter,yogurt, muffins. It would be nice if there was more than one lamp in the room.

One of the elevators didn’t go to the floor we needed for some reason and you can’t change the temperature in the room without a work order which made it a little uncomfortable. The area is walkable and close to a variety of dining options.

This property needs a lot of updating. The shower had peeling caulk and moldy edges, the bathroom was the size of a postage stamp, linens and towels were clean but had old stains, and only a couple of the outlets worked in our room. The mini fridge was not cold either though that didn’t affect us. The card reader on our door also stopped working around 11pm which was a huge inconvenience (we were told the battery ran out but I feel that this is something that should be checked between guests then). I could go on but it’s all mundane- nothing that ruined the stay but nothing that made it nicer either. Breakfast was good, pillows and mattress were comfortable, but overall this place was just meh. I won’t be back to this location again.

Check in was smooth, valet was nice and they were great to work with. The staff was great but our room didn’t have hot water, I spoke up about this and had the maintenance staff look at it and it got warm but it never stayed long. Only 2 outlets in our room worked. It wasn’t very clean found dirt piles in parts of our room. If the staff wasn’t great to work with I would have left.

Room was older and window drapings were not able to close fully. The bathroom was very small and the hot water did not work for a while. The refrigerator was not cleaned and looked like soda was all over the bottom. The room temperature was very hot and in order to cool it down, they completely shut off the heat and gave us a fan. The breakfast was average but they ran out of some of the basic condiments like syrup for pancakes or butter for toast. All the garbage cans were full with trash falling onto the floor. None of the tables were cleaned off after people ate there. One positive was the staff were friendly.

Overall the hotel was just ok. It just kind of felt like a dorm room experience. There is no ability to control the air conditioning, but they offer a box fan from housekeeping if requested. The room I had was a bit small, and you can definitely hear guests from the rooms next to you. The dark brown furnishings and red headboard could use a bit of an update and the grey industrial rug has seen better days. No refrigerator or microwave were in my room. The bathroom was absolutely miniscule and the toilet flush lever was oddly placed on the wall above the sink and vanity. Housekeeping should not be knocking on your door at 9am when you have a do not disturb sign hanging from the doorknob. Other than that, the hotel is in a very good area, literally steps away from the 16th Street Mall. The bed was comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. I suppose if you don't care about the size of the room or the bathroom, the inability to control the air conditioning, no fridge or microwave, and possibly hearing your neighbors, the price of this hotel and the location are very good. But I guess you get what you pay for.

The road in front of the building was closed and made it impossible to get there. I would have appreciated a warning and directions of how to enter. But the worst part was our room didn't have any AC. It was so hot and all they could do was bring a loud box fan that just moved the warm air around. We ended up blocking the door open with a chair just to get some air. There was no vent in the bathroom so when you showered the whole room was humid enough to cover the window. Only good thing was the view from that window, very good location for it. Would not stay again.

Pros: My room had a great view (city view) and was clean, and comfy. The staff was super friendly. Cons: Lots of traffic noise, sirens, etc. You could hear people talking/yelling outside. But in all fairness, it is downtown. The biggest con for me was the AC is terrible; my room was 81 and didn't cool down even though I had the temp set at 68. Luckily there was a nice tower fan in my room and that helped keep me a bit cool and to drown out some of the outside noise so I could sleep.

Our room was clean & had a great view of the city with half the room being a large window! It would be a great place to sit at the desk and do work from in your room. You can’t see the mountains, but great “city scape.” The bathroom is small, but we only stayed one night so didn’t need to shower or spend much time in there. There is a full sized mirror in the bedroom if you need more space. We walked all over downtown & went to a concert at Coors Field. Great location in downtown Denver!

I called ahead of my trip to ask about accommodations for dietary restrictions. I was assured that they had milk alternatives and eggs available for me at breakfast. They didn’t have milk alternatives and they only had cheese omelettes or frozen hard boiled eggs. The only good thing about this hotel was the valet staff. They were quick and friendly.

When bought on Expedia we were not told about extra parking fees. There was no way to cancel without losing money. We also called them to see if we can check in early. 1 person was helpful but two others on the phone were NOT. They told us that they might be able to get us in early and to call back; when we call back we are treated like we are idiots for calling them. Then they proceed to be rude when we go and ask them personally upon arrival. I can't even ask a simple question without her snapping at me about their policies. Also, said thank you and everything despite her attitude; for her to proceed to ignore me. Then when another customer comes and says thanks for something else she is super nice to them. I think her name is Jasmine, but so unprofessional picking snd choosing who she wants to be respectful to or not. We came in and asked 2 questions and that's it... 100 dollars total for parking, rude staff, homeless on drugs walking around the hotel, broken AC, you can hear everything through the walls, and no heads up by the hotel the every street was going to be closed around the hotel for a pride parade. If you don't have a car and need a quick spot? This place will get the job done. If you are looking for a nice experience in Denver? Don't stay here.

They didn’t have my room when we got there. They promised me a room and didn’t get one the first night so we stayed in a friend’s room. Charged me more for the second night and never canceled my reservation with hotels.com for the first reservation and I never got refunded. Plus the AC didn’t work and they handing out box fans at the desk and ran out.

When I arrived around 9pm on the check in day, the reception staff told me that the AC had been down for months and asked me if I’m okay with it and will give me 20% off. However, I still charged full amount and didn’t get that 20% back. I tried to contact the hotel several times, but no response at all. If you really need AC, do not book this hotel.

Great location downtown Denver, an easy walk to the 16th Street Mall and everything it has to offer. I very much appreciate a simple hotel that includes breakfast rather than the fancy ones nearby that have a Starbucks in the lobby. The elevator is a challenge, as you have to scan your card key, but the room was quiet and nice enough. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a great central location to the 16th Street Mall. It was also located close to Ball Arena, 10-15 minute Über ride.Walking distance to plenty of restaurants. With valet parking or public pay to park close by. Will definitely book again.

The temperature doesn't adjust per room. Temp was fine for me, but they offered fans in August if the AC didn't get the room cold enough. Had some system noise in the bathroom. Small bathroom. Couch in room was a plus for anyone wanting to watch TV comfortably. No in-room frig. . . Staff was friendly in limited interactions.

We were in Denver for convention, so location was great. It was just a few blocks from pedestrian mall with many food choices. Felt safe walking at night after shows, there was police presence and many people always around. Breakfast was good, had great little cinnamon rolls. The bathroom was small, definitely a 1 person bathroom. The flush mechanism was a “pus h” rod in the wall. Had to have maintenance give us tutorial. Also close to Union Station and train.
