A very clean property. If stairs are a challenge make sure to request a main level room as there isnt an elevator. They have a pool, with nice lounging area, all this too was very clean.

This is an older property with an outdoor pool, hot tub, and small fitness room. The continental breakfast was better than most, and they have hot coffee available 24/7. Gotta love that! The rooms are a decent size, beds comfy with multiple pillows on each bed. The staff is excellent, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff and the lovely lady that handles the breakfast. It’s close to Walmart, Home Depot, coffee shops, and liquor stores for emergencies, and a 10 minute drive to downtown Ft Collins. The only complaint I had was there aren’t enough parking spaces for guest vehicles at night. Some have to park in the back of the hotel, Where half the spaces are leased year round to residents in the RV community next door. I didn’t feel comfortable parking there at night after coming back from dinner.

This is a wonderful property. You get what you get at a 2 star hotel.....this place exceeded expectation, especially in cleanliness. The lobby and room we were in were spotless. Leave a nice tip for the cleaning staff. They deserve it!

This is a very nice property and we would stay here again but never in the room that we had. We were given a room right at the top of the stairs from the lobby. I told the person at the front desk that I didn't want to be right by the lobby as I knew we would hear everything, not to mention that the food smells from the breakfast would fill our room. He insisted it wouldn't be a problem but it was the problem that I knew it would be. The staff wasn't always quiet late-night and the morning staff (kitchen I believe) weren't quiet either. I had to call down to the front desk two different times to have them tell people to be quiet. The breakfast was very fresh and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend however, getting king size pillows for the king size beds. Apparently they don't have those.

Comfortable bed, clean room, they forgot to give us shampoo. Rooms on the front get a lot of road noise as this is right off a major road. Breakfast included, wifi, parking, convenient to downtown Fort Collins.

Picked this hotel for it's location and lower price. We had a 3 night stay with a King bed. We did not get to try the breakfast (looked yummy), pool or hottub. The room was nice sized, but the bed too hard for us. I never could get comfortable enough to have a good night's sleep. I also could not get the AC to work properly and always felt warm (I like to sleep cold). We were put in a room right at the top of the stairs and I was extremely worried about noise, but it was extremely quiet. I was very happy about that. The staff was nice and the place had nice decor. The location was on the main highway, but close enough to downtown for a quick drive. The room view was horrible in that we overlooked a poorly rundown trailer park. That being said, I felt safe.

When we checked in our cards were showing as not accepted for some reason. We are from Canada but have never had issues. After the first couple cards didn’t work, the front desk staff should have realized it was a system problem and contacted the vendor or the point of sale system to rectify. Instead, we were left to keep trying different cards until my sister’s (from Thailand) worked. Afterwards, we noticed that all the other cards we tried were charged (4). The manager the next morning told us the charges would magically go away but would not provide us anything in writing to prove it. The lack of effort to solve the problem that was clearly a system problem, not ours, was frustrating and embarrassing as others in the lobby were seeing our cards being declined. Please make an effort to problem solve rather than just hope things fix themselves. If we left without him calling the vendor, we would have nothing to prove that we shouldn’t have been charged if we wanted to dispute the charges later. Was a bad experience that could have been avoided if someone had attempted to problem solve.

On December 12th a Blizzard closed all roads from from my home into Wyoming and Colorado. I could not travel for 4 days. I called the Kiva Inn and requested the arrival date be changed, as all roads were closed and impassable. The hotels desk person refused. Yes I had prepaid, however the storm was affecting everyone in 4 states. I'm a Gold member of rewards and had stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past. Never again.

I was concerned at check in since another customer had a plumbing leak and trash and garbage and food in the room from the previous guest. I asked to see the room before check in and the desk charged me on the spot before I even reached the desk. Expedia and even Best Western corporate tried to reason with the staff and they said no. The issue is now with the executive team at Best Western for mediation. The staff was aggressive and I did not feel safe.

The staff was very kind and pleasant in conversation. The pool was the perfect temperature to swim in. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi tub in the room was top notch! Excellent Continental breakfast with eggs and biscuits and gravy with the option of sausage. Was a great stay!

Book on Hotels.com Paid a $140. Get to the hotel the front desk ask for credit card for $100 for incidentals, That I would get back the next day when I check out. Found out a little later the hotel, Best Western charged me $214. I went back to the front desk and ask them why I was double charged. They said that was the charge for the room. I explained to them that Hotels already charged me for the room. After 2 hours of back-and-forth with hotels.com and the front desk, Best Western finally agreed to a refund. 2 days later still no refund. Also the next morning there was No Coffee, Hardly anything for breakfast. When the guest started asking about it, all they would say is they were getting to it. We finally just left.

The manager and staff excelled in service, great breakfast offering, rooms were very clean. Some upholstery and carpet is starting to show its use. We had stayed here before, and recommended it to all siblings coming this time. All liked being able to gather in evenings in lobby. Thanks to the folks who treated us so well.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and both times have exceeded my expectations. The hotel is clean, bed comfy and the breakfast is solid. The staff is super friendly. The hotel isn’t in a very walkable area but it’s conveniently close to both Old Town and the CSU campus. Compared to nearby hotels it’s a steal.

The guy at the front desk was great Shawn was his name and he is the best so friendly and helpful we enjoyed the hot tub too it was the perfect temperature! We will be back!

The room was pretty small, but clean. We were on the ground floor and the window looked directly to a parked car. I am talking 5 feet away. The neighborhood is a little sketchy. The cleanliness of the hotel was fine. The breakfast was a little odd. Egg rolls....hmmm. We enjoyed the outdoor pool quite a bit. It is why we picked this hotel to visit the college for orientation. It was HOT in Ft. Collins that weekend and the pool was nice. It faces the highway...but that didn't matter to us. We attempted to change rooms, to be on the 2nd floor. They didn't have availability the 1st night but the manager sought us out the next morning and offered the room to us. We declined, but it was nice that he offered. Not sure we would stay at this hotel again, the location wasn't as nice or ideal for our needs.

Just average hotel along a main thoroughfare. Slightly noisy, average amenities and cleanliness. The soaps and shampoo etc barely adequate. Not enough parking for a fully booked hotel, we came back late and had to park in the street. The breakfast not very good.

The best photo you will see is the lobby, the rest of the place could use a facelift. Breakfast was mediocre. The pool sits right off the road so you can watch the traffic go by. A nicer fence and just a touch of greenery would be a huge upgrade. The front desk was friendly.
