La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Denver Golden

Location is good. Manager on duty was great. Outside area around hotel could have used some dog poop/trash removal. Cinco de Mayo weekend could have had an impact. Room was clean. One wall lamp was pretty much destroyed. Bathtub had been relined and not sealed properly. Standing in the tub was kind of like riding a surfboard. A safety rail would have helped. Water may have been trapped between the tub bottom and the tub mat that appeared to be glued down. This may have accounted for the tiny bugs that were running around. Not a lot of them. Taking into consideration that this is a fairly old hotel, not bad.

No fridge in room and not accessible for elderly mother. Didn't realize there was an elevator until checkout time. Was a great drive in and off freeway. You can hear the highway and sirens near by. d Overall was ok for the price.

The La Quinta Inn (Denver/Golden) is an affordable & convenient hotel for lodging near I70 & US 285. The rooms appear to be clean and are comfortable. There are no real amenities. I’ve never seen the pool open. The front-desk staff is generally hot or miss in terms of professionalism & courtesy. It seems as though the house cleaning staff does a good job with cleaning the rooms. It’s also nice tor them to provide water in the lobby for customers.

Room smelled, pets were kept in some rooms. Dogs barking most of the time, even late at night. No tags available to let the staff know room needs cleaning and towels replaced during three nights stay. No room service.

Room was clean and quiet. The outside of the property needs to be cleaned up, painted.
