The hotel was very conveniently located off of the highway off-ramp, the staff was fantastic (all of the front desk staff were wonderful; definitely deserve a raise), the facility was clean and well maintained though the coffee machine and conditioner despenser in the shower weren't working and the room key cards would malfunction somewhat frequently despite keeping them away from my phone and wallet cards. There was an outdoor pool (which unfortunately was closed) and a modest fitness center but had enough to get by with a decent workout. Also a decent continental breakfast, those also modest, had a decent variety of food with egg dishes that changed every morning. Overall great place.

The big dog barking. That sounds like its right outside the door. Have to walk all the way around the property to get to my room because you cant come back in the side doors.

The layout of the hotel is less than user friendly. Only being able to come in the front door is a real pain when your room is in the far back. I know it’s most likely for safety do to the homeless population but there must be another option. Also the pool was closed still that was a real bummer. The keys to our rooms kept being erased too.

The swimming pool was closed and green. The room keys continued to fail and had to be redone for all 3 rooms. No USB in rooms. Mold on breakfast muffins. Power outlet thst didn't work. Unable to get toilet paper. All this was reported to staff.

Area right by hotel is not desirable and is located right near highway, which has it pros and cons. Area secure with fence, but not a gate. Area about 3 blocks down was great with strip mall with Target and restaurants. Check in was smooth. Front desk worker was alone and juggling a lot but did so professionally and with a smile. Ice Machines were not working on the floors and was a real drag. Rooms were clean, but heavy cleaning scent filled the lobby and hallways. Bathrooms small and outdated compared to other HIExpress/IG properties. Appreciated the safety aspects of the side doors, but made for loading and unloading challenging as doors lock-even with key. Front of hotel area is very small and if people leave cars in area hard to navigate. People backed the breakfast area. Did not partake in free breakfast but people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Overall stay was fine and room was clean-most important part of stay.

I liked the staff, the breakfast selection, and the black-out window shades. I did not like that the handicap parking was not near the front of the building, the elevator sounded like it needed repairs, the room was not very clean, the front desk staff was often absent for long periods of time, and there were bulbs missing from light fixtures.

We checked into our room and found multiple hairs in the beds and in the bathroom. We requested a new room. The front desk staff was understanding and willing to work with us. The second room was better. Happy we only stayed one night.

Excellent place to stay for convenience of getting around Denver. Great breakfast included every morning. Our room was clean and hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone desiring to stay in the area of Wheat Ridge

This hotel had a wonderful breakfadt, excellent staff, and a clean, comfortable room! I absolutely will be staying here again! The only reason I give it 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is because our bathroom has some caulking missing in the shower and a couple of cracks in the sink basin. Neither were a problem by any means, but it was just a small eyesore. If you're looking for a hotel in the Arvada area, definitely stay here!!

The 1bdrm suite was spacious and larger than expected. The furniture was dated and not particularly comfortable but the beds, bedding and pillows were very cozy. The towels were adequate-neither plush nor threadbare and the toiletries were in dispensers not the small individualized containers of shampoo, conditioner, lotion. The lack of tissues in the suite area or no napkins by the coffee maker gave it a bare bones vibe. But overall the hotel and room were clean, neat and the staff was very friendly. I'll be back.

We were greeted by a friendly employee when we arrived for late check in. The room was in average shape, but most importantly the beds/pillows were so comfortable…so we had a great night sleep. We had a ton of water pressure for a nice hot shower and a great breakfast to send us off for another day of travel. It was so nice to be right off the highway. All of it was easy with great sleep and refreshed for another great day!

Did not sleep well. The heating unit in the room sounded like a plane taking off the whole night . called the front desk and nothing was done. Talked to front desk when leaving showed to him and the gentleman barely spoke or understood English language and really said nothing. Told us that we paid thru a 3rd party and nothing he would do about it.

Location was convenient to the softball fields we were playing at, but the area surrounding the hotel appears run down. This was an average Holiday Inn Express. Seemed kind of old, but nothing specifically bad about it. I’d probably stay here again if our team comes back next year. (The area north about 1 mile becomes really nice with a super Target, Starbucks, etc…).

I am so upset. They kept my money for incidentals. I dont smoke so thats not it. What in the world is going on?? I called and talk to manager, advised i had photos of all the mis haps in the room. and they still charged me !!!!

Very nice hotel, great breakfast, wonderful service. It is located in an older more run-down area of town and surrounded by some cheap and seedy hotels. Easy access to I70 and basically everything Denver Metro. Just don't plan on walking the area at night.

I liked the thermostat options very much. Also liked the lack of noise from the mini frig and microwave. The breakfast menu options were excellent, and the 9:30 A.M. deadline instead of 9:00 A.M. was appreciated. The room was neat and very clean. We'll be repeat customers.
