it is a great hotel for the price. only cons are it is very dark outside the property in the parking lot, a very large parking lot but poorly lit. bed mattress are too soft. other than that great Hotel

I enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center. Vanessa greeted me at the front desk upon arrival and checked me into a room. The room was clean & comfortable. The surrounding area is safely walkable, and the fitness center is well-maintained. My only complaint is that the TV did not work, but I decided to read a book instead.

Kind of dumping needs an upgrade Phone in room did not work Parking lot very dark Needs more lighting Front desk person kept announcing to everyone everyone’s room. I schooled her and told her that you should always write it and never announce it for safety reasons, but she continued to do it. She said her manager told her to do that. I know this is against all hotel security Protocols.

Everything was fine until we arrived at the property. Instead of seeing a Hampton Inn sign, we saw a Spark sign. The main entrance was closed so we used a side door to access the office, which was probably a closet. Disappointed to find out no pool, spa, or hot breakfast. Somebody dropped the ball. We should have been told this before arriving at the property.

if a location says they have a pool. They should also provide information on whether the pool is open or not. Even though it's very warm here in this day in September, they close the pool for winter for some reason. Disappointing.

Facility needed upgrading … fresh paint and carpet. Lighter, brighter colors. Breakfast was average. We had to request housekeeping for our 3 day stay and it never happened on the 2nd day requested.

I have frequented this property for decades. It is good overall, but has defects that clearly need to be rectified. Burned out overhead lightbulbs and deteriorating paneling covers for plumbing access are examples. Cleanliness was also questionable, based on my wiping up wet spots on bathroom tiles with Kleenex.

It was under construction but quiet, everything looked clean but I ended up getting scabies from their sheets/towels. Called the hotel to report and not sure anything was/will ever be done about it. Will never stay again which is a shame because the staff was wonderful.

WE had trouble with check in finding the expedia reservation. EXPEDIA was called and I never was connected to a live agent so problem was not resolved. the room we got into for the first night had trash under the bed, food etc, tv remote. we found a new hotel for night two. No help from expedia. Will never use expedia again due to lack of customer service. this was my first time to use expedia. we always stay at hampton's when we travel so was terribly dissapointed in the room's condition.

The property itself was not an issue. After getting to our room and getting ready for bed, the sheets were noticeably covered in stains. There was no room available to switch us to. The night desk attendant brought up sheets and we changed the sheets ourself. Once the sheets were removed, the mattress protector was stained as well. We were told that we would be given "points" to our account. Upon checkout there was no note to that affect and the day desk attendant was not aware but mentioned it was possible a note was left for the manager.

This hotel offers excellent value for the price, under $100, and features a King size bed, breakfast, and a warm room upon arrival, a nice touch for our trip. The room was comfortable during our one-night stay, and the bathroom was good-sized with plenty of towels and counter space. However, the room was extremely warm, even with the thermostat turned off, we felt 20 degrees warmer than the hallway. Unfortunately, we didn't try their breakfast.

Had a nice stay here. The room layout was nice and spacious, had a mini fridge and microwave. I thought the bed was comfortable but my partner thought it was way too hard and couldn't sleep. The bathroom had some issues.. the fan was running continuously and really loud, and there was a very septic smell coming from the sink drain, maybe improper vent piping? The lighting of the entire room was also strange, the only light switch in the room went to the light inside the closet, and every other light you had to turn on individually. The complimentary breakfast was what you'd expect, not inedible. The staff was very friendly and nice. Great location, easy to walk around that part of town.

Property needs to be updated like other older Hampton Inn’s around the country. Bed very uncomfortable which was shocking since every Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in has always had the most comfortable beds.

Really liked the area and our stay. Suggestions for improvement... have enough milk and creamer for coffee in the mornings, as well as food for the complimentary breakfast. There was hardly any food left with an hour and a half left before breakfast ended. There was no fan in the bathroom which was weird. The day we checked out at (check out at 12) housekeeping knocked on our door with a DND sign 2 different times telling us we had to leave at 11. I double checked with the front desk and it was a 12 checkout, however, housekeeping came back at 11:30 knocking on the door telling us it was time to check out. We felt rushed to get out.

The room was lovely and exactly what I needed for my family. Service was terrible. Our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until after midnight. I tried to call as soon as we landed at 10:30 and the phone rang and rang. I tried again en route and the phone rang and rang. We arrived at the facility with a notice that for safety, the door was locked and to pick up the phone that would ring the front desk I did so, and the phone rang and rang. It was not until I knocked hard on the glass did someone wonder up from the back to assist me. Extremely frustrating after a frustrating day of travel.

Service at front desk- we had a bad toilet when we checked in on Sunday, something easily missed by hskp as it worked sometimes. FD agent was awesome! He relocated us quickly and was stellar all while handling a busy check in time solo. He needs a raise!!! He rocks. Hard to find help like that these days. Great guy.

The stay was pleasant, but checking in was a nightmare. Although the issue was “resolved” (I am still waiting on my refund), I wasted 30 minutes and made us run late to our event. The front desk attendant double-charged me and couldn’t refund my money. However, I was unhappy that I was told my card was declined about three times when I had already paid via Expedia. Suppose she would have just taken a moment to see what was happening instead of assuming that MY card was declined; this issue wouldn't have happened. With this said, this will be my last time staying with Hilton.

I enjoy staying at the Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center whenever I'm heading into the mountains to go skiing/hiking/climbing the next day. The hotel location allows me to have a good night's rest and get onto the I-70 corridor ahead of the brunt of the morning ski traffic. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is fairly walkable. The staff does a great job of maintaining the rooms, and Vanessa has been a pleasure to talk with during my last 2 visits. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in need of lodging in this area between Denver/Golden.

This location is pretty far out from downtown Denver and from the airport. It was obviously an older hotel. It’s a bit shabby but clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. This hotel could really really use a makeover and an airport shuttle service. We had to rent a car.

Nice, quite and clean hotel. We chose it to be close to Red Rocks Amphitheater. Perfect for us. Made several other day trips to Golden, Rocky National Park, Estes and Bolder. It was all close by that it was easy to drive there and back.

Clearly the property is not new. The brown carpet outside the elevator was starting to come up. Bacon was not in. The breakfast rotation. This is the first time I’ve stayed at a Hampton Inn that bacon wasn’t served any of the 5 days. It looked like left over meat was used on day. I had to ask for my bedding to be changed because it didn’t look clean. O live Hampton Inn but this one hit different.
