La Quinta by Wyndham Denver Southwest Lakewood

When we arrived the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I was traveling with my 2 year old so this was unacceptable. I asked the front desk for a new room, as I didn’t want my 2 year old to stay in a smokers room. The front desk said they didn’t have any other rooms. I requested a refund at this point. The manager said that Hotels.com would be the one to refund me. When I reached out to Hotels.com, they stated that the reservation was already cancelled so there was nothing they could refund. I will never be staying here again.

My room was ok clean, my friends room was awful still had trash in the waste basket, hair in the bathroom. Hot water was inconsistent, breakfast ok. Elevator was slow and a little scary with it closing the door and opening for no reason.

Pretty average. Clean. Bed ok. No washcloths. 2 towels. 1 hand towel. That's pretty sad. In house phone missing cord. Highway noise and hallway noise. Gaps around door frame enough to see shadows of people walking by. Had late checkout yet maid knocks on door at 10am.grrr. Decent area. Safe. Solid stay in spite of my gripes.

There was a lot of noise because people live there. I will stay somewhere else in November.

The staff was amazing. Super nice and efficient. There however was trash left in our room and only had one single towel for a 2 bed room. I understand we’re all human and overlook things but having my young kid find beer cans in the trash wasn’t super cool.
