We had a great stay! My wife and I found the staff to be every friendly and accommodating to whatever we requested. It was also a bonus that they had a business center and printer available, especially when we needed one. The breakfast was pretty good too. My only comment is that they add more refreshment options like orange and apple juice. Last but not least, the mountain views right by the hotel were absolutely beautiful!

Only bad thing was breakfast variety has gone downhill. No juice for kids, no bagels, bread was out, milk was out and guy working in there had attitude about having to get more things out and took forever. Otherwise, pool and hut tub superb as always and we got to see the bear that was around out back while we were there.

Location is great. Hotel is remodeling and had issue with the noise level late at night and early in the morning. Pool and hot tub area needs updating and cleaning. Breakfast is nothing special, ended up going to different locations for breakfast. Might consider staying there again AFTER they are done remodeling.

Hot tub wasn’t working but that’s just my luck. Hasn’t worked the last 3 hotels I’ve stayed in. Other than that, everything was fine. Breakfast was your typical weird wet scrambled eggs, sausage patties, yogurt cereal…. Over all, good stay

From check in to my last couple hours, everything has been wonderful. My room, was clean and updated. Not to mention how comfortable the bed is. Breakfast was above average for Continental. Hot food too! Fruit was crisp and juicy. I'll even utilize the fitness room before check out. So close to the "Garden" was icing on cake!

This hotel is old and dirty. The staff was profesional, courteous, and helpful, but this hotel is nasty. The seat as you walked in needed to be cleaned and the windows had mold/bacteria growing. The hot water was non-existent, we had it on full blast just to bathe in warm water. Thank God we arrived late and only slept for a short few hours before leaving. It needs a serious overhaul and cleaning.

You get what you pay for! There was hair left in the bathroom around the sink and in the shower from previous guests. The sheets and towels also had stains on them. The breakfast was okay-hot food & coffee and fresh fruit but nothing special. The staff were very friendly and the parking lot was very spacious. We had a trailer and were able to unhook.

The breakfast was not great. The sausage was pink and cold both days. The options were very limited. The noise was terrible. You could hear everything through the walls. Each time someone above us flushed their toilet it was very loud. It sounded like the people above us were elephants walking around. The carpet in the hallway was pretty dirty.

We chose this property because of the amenities and reviews and were a little disappointed. The staff was helpful and the room was clean but I was underwhelmed by the common areas. The hallway and elevator carpeting was pretty dirty along with the gym- looked like it hadn’t been dusted or wiped down in a while. In general I’d say this hotel was above average for the area and we slept fine since it was just a quick overnight stay. I did love the proximity to the area attractions.

This is the noisiest hotel I have EVER stayed in. The doors in this hotel do not close slowly so every single door slams shut (stuff in my room - like my bed and mirror shake when other doors slam) and the walls are also paper thin. You can hear people walking in their room above you, actual conversations from multiple rooms around and above you, the person snoring in the next room. I would say it quiets down between 1am and 4am and then the doors start slamming again. We also booked this hotel because it had a hot tub. The hot tub doesn’t work. It was hot but the jets didn’t work. I decided this hotel because of the 8.8 rating. The room was clean but smelled very musty. The refrigerator was a struggle to open and close, the bath tub didn’t drain, and the noise from the slamming doors was ridiculous. If this is a 8.8 in Manitou Springs - Yikes! Overall, very disappointed in hotels.com and Days Inn.

It was a great location and reasonable. Staff was very nice. The room was kind of noisy, i could hear people on all sides of us. The shower was very dirty, had other peoples hair and soap on the walls.

Shower needed repairs (handle spun completely around!), and the room decor was an odd mix of old and newer furnishings. I don’t expect much for a free breakfast, but this one should be skipped. On the plus side, the front desk and housekeeping staffs were kind and attentive. We liked the easy access and parking, tv channel selection, multiple USB outlets, and overall sense of privacy.

Our room was clean and comfortable, but there was no closet--only some hooks with hangers which interfered with the suitcase placed below them. There is plenty of room adjacent to the bathroom where they could have added a closet or at least a 6-8 ft. long rod with hangers. Also, the bathroom could have used more towel rods or hooks-a common shortcoming of motels.

Beds were comfy but the noise ruined being able to sleep. I don’t know why they don’t put slow close on the doors because the door slamming is obnoxious. I requested floor two but the person at the desk assured me floor one would be quiet. Well I had an awful night sleep because she didn’t put me upstairs where it would be quiet. I had a super busy and long day planned and the lack of sleep made it difficult to complete.

We stayed for two nights, the room would not cool down had the air conditioner at 60, and still warm. Would be nice if they moved it away from the window and put the air conditioners central in the room. The light breakfast was not my favorite need pastries. The eggs and sausage were okay, not great. The property and rooms were very clean.

The hotel was average Days Inn. Havent been to one in a long time. No carpets in the rooms, vinal flooring. May be easier to clean, but the people above you come through VERY loud. If they roll a suitcase or walk heavy. Its very strange.

We arrived in the evening because we drove down from a Rockies game. When we walked in, two gentlemen were checking in and the receptionist started asking us from behind the customer they were helping if we had a reservation. We said yes, and he said, I have no more arrivals today, and asked us to double check. We did and could confirm it. When he was done helping the two guys he again said he only had a king room left- we booked 2 doubles for our family of 4. I finally had to suggest that he look it up by name of which then he said someone had checked in under our name. We showed a pending cc charge. Come to find out, he had some how given the two guys before us our room. Then the two guys came back and said, we actually have rooms across the road, they can have their room back. Ummm...so they guy gave us keys for the room they just had. Didn't check to see if it was still clean (it was) and offered to give us a $10.00 discount. WHAT!! You about didn't give us a room at all and now we get 10.00 off. So disappointed. Would not stay here again.

Very rude lady at the front desk, was making false claims against my child saying we can’t stay on an upper floor as she would run around and make noise, my child is 15 she is not a toddler and for the hotel to say that is very bad, the rude lady at the front desk apparently quit her job the next day but it’s still not good enough, the only good things were the rooms were newly refurbished and the lady at the front desk the next day but that was it, breakfast was very poor aswell, no juice, no decaf coffee which is very very bad, apparently they are getting rid of the breakfast but it is still no excuse.

We had such an amazing stay here, mostly due to a really great front desk agent Corina who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We loved the pool area, and we could tell that she was putting effort into testing the water and making sure towels were out. She answered all of our questions really quickly, she was there when we checked in and the next day also. They had more breakfast options than I expected, and their coffee is great! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. But really mostly I can't say enough about Corina she was so helpful to us!

2 days with no housekeeping or maid service!!! I paid $700 to be disregarded like it didn't matter! No real apology or effort made by management to make it right...nothing, not even a lame excuse as to why my room was overlooked despite being a mere 20 feet from housekeeping. There are no excuses for this hotel to be managed this way, will never, ever stay there again.

We were extremely impressed with the property. The staff member (Mike) was extremely helpful in providing us with an early check in to accommodate some plans that we had. He was very knowledgable about the area and provided us with very helpful tips to deal with parking in the town and places to visit. The breakfast in the morning was far better than almost any other hotel we have stayed in!

It’s the perfect location and place to stay. Jamie was the sole reason we picked this location. I had called around and spoke to a few other hotels but they were not helpful or friendly. Jamie was kind, patient, and the most helpful and cheerful over the phone. When we got there, I heard her voice and watched her manage the dining area and was blown away at her hard work and attention to detail. She is amazing! Would def stay here and recommend this spot!

Location within walking distance of the Garden of the Gods and a free shuttle bus ride to the Pike’s Peak cog railway was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Nice to have the swimming pool and hot tub too.

Location is excellent. Situated just a few minutes to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. Breakfast was very good. Rooms facing the back are very quiet.

Nice hotel for a visit to Manitou Springs. Clean and comfortable with nice pool and hot tub. Good breakfast serving both hot and cold items. 15 minute walk to centre of Manitou but free shuttle bus also available in the town just a couple of minutes walk from hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located for us to go to Garden of the Gods, and Pikes peak. The hotel itself is fine in terms of cleanness and facilities. They area around the hotel is unkept. Not unsafe, but it has a few broken window, if you know what I mean.

Very limited menu. Empty bin. One had to wait for staff to refill. They had one bread - no refill. had to call in and wait long for everything to refill . yet filled only few like, milk, egg. poor service. Likely care less about guest. Must prepare and stock items prior based on the #s. No staff at front desk or breakfast area. need to ring bell . No wifi information shared upfront.

The only issue we stayed for 3 days and the breakfast was not very good compared to other locations . The hot food was either empty or cold. Not just 1 day all three days. Had toast and only had 1 strawberry jelly or none.
