Pool and hot are always a hit with the family, but it doesn’t open until 9 am which is a bummer if you want to access the hot tub after an early morning hike or walk. I was also disappointed the fitness center opens at 6 am. This is too late to suit my needs. Area recommendations, Hell’s Kitchen pizza and mausam for Indian food. Overall, the stay was pleasant and staff friendly, but I found the amenities hours too limiting. Easy walk to neighborhood park.

We loved this hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, great breakfast, and we loved the pool & hot tub. The hot tub felt nice after doing the Manitou incline! By the way, the parking to the shuttle for the incline is super close to the hotel. I wish I new that before paying for parking, but I hope it helps you. Would definitely stay here again!

First thing i noticed when i opened the door to our room was a very strong mildew smell! It was so strong and horrible. I think it was coming from the bathroom because i could see stains on top of the shower and in the bathroom walls. Was too tired to even bring it up with staff. Very dissapointed. I booked the room because it had really good reviews with Expedia. Honestly, im beginning to not trust those reviews anymore.

The breakfast left something to be desired and I wish the pool and patio were more accessible to each other. The beds were great and the room was very clean. Staff was great as well. I would stay again.

Door would not close completely until we pulled it shut, the tile grout in the bathroom was very dirty, the tub faucet dripped, the light in the bathroom kept going on and off, the mattress on one of the beds was extremely soft, there were no comfortable chairs in the room.

The beds and linens were very nice! Property was quiet. The complimentary breakfast was very good! The rooms are dated. Although I think the tub/shower combo had been cleaned, it was hard to say definitively because it was older and quite dingy.

This hotel was a good basic hotel. Room was very typical room. More spacious than most. Small sofa facing tv. King bed, and the room also had a good size refrigerator and microwave. Place was very clean throughout. Breakfast was good. Location was perfect if you are there for hiking as we were. Five minute walk from Garden of the Gods. Seven minute drive to Manitou incline. Five minutes to downtown Manitou. Ten minutes to downtown Colorado Springs. Fifteen minutes from Seven Falls. We had a great stay for eight days and were really glad we picked that location. We would stay there again.

We were in Manitou Springs to explore Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. This hotel is nicely located for this purpose. Room was nice, even had a balcony. Staff was great. Just know that it sits alongside Hwy 24, so there was some road noise. Not enough to bother our sleep, but if you are a light sleeper. Check out historic Colorado Springs and Downtown Manitou Springs if you do stay here.

Ancient, hard, bouncy mattresses. Mattresses do not have complete covers. They use a pad under the fitted sheet, but it doesn’t completely cover the top of the mattress. Flattened, old, hard pillows. No one in the family slept well. The room seemed to be missing arm chairs/seating. There was a random floor lamp alone in the corner where a chair would normally be. The room was tired and they need to invest in better/new mattresses and pillows. The room smelled very strongly of some sort of cleaning product. I am glad they clean the room, but we had to open the window to air out the room. The continental breakfast was good and the attendant was great. She was super quick to restock and help all of the guests. The hotel was quiet and the location is good, but we would never stay there again unless they overhaul the furnishing and bedding. We spent the day after our stay tired and in pain due to the terrible beds.

Property feels old and condition reflects that. Not terrible and not great. I’m particularly upset that when I booked the room, it supposedly had Mountain View’s….maybe from the roof? I need to look at my records but thought we had a balcony as well; but didn’t see any except two over the parking lot so didn’t even make a fuss about it in the end. My wife was very disappointed and wanted to leave but Manitou saved the day; what a great place.

The hotel is very clean and well kept, so even though it is older, it is still a very pleasant place to stay. At check in the front desk agent didn’t greet me, instead I had to initiate conversation saying “Hi, I need to check in”, she glanced up at me and said “just a minute, I just need to finish this” and proceeded to write down some notes. She then acknowledged me and asked if I was checking in… yes.. I already stated that. She informed me I’d be charged at check in and a hold placed on my card that they would release after check out, and I’d have to contact my bank to get the funds released more quickly if I wanted them. It was a peculiar check in inter action. The room was clean, the linens seemed fresh. Unfortunately we had some storms come through and so the satellite TV wasn’t working and the dated TV did not have any way to stream from my phone- so I had nothing to watch. The beds were VERY soft- comfy for lounging, but not the best for anyone needing support. Breakfast in the morning was good, the area was clean and well attended to with a good variety of items available. When I went to check out, I told the desk attendant I was checking out and she tapped a clear box labeled “express check out” without saying anything to me. The location was great- within easy driving distance of all the sites I wanted to see, with plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable- but maybe consider updating the tv’s to accommodate streaming.

The rooms were adequate for our stay. Our AC didn't seem to be working as good as it should for high cool and fan on high. Beds were ok but definitely not that comfortable but thats to be expected. Nothing beats you own bed! Overall the stay was great! Definitely would stay again as long as the rooms can be cooler! We bought a fan while there to help cool the room and move some air around.

Good spot for visiting Manitou Springs. Property appeared to be a former chain hotel. Only a few minutes drive from downtown Manitou Springs. Pros: Exactly what you would expect from a chain hotel type property. Breakfast included. Pool for the kids. Cleanliness was as expected. Room had a mini-fridge. Cons: Room had poor humidity control; no fan in the bathroom to clear out moisture after a shower. Solution was to open the window, which worked well (but that depends on the outside weather, of course). Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance.

We want to give a special shout-out thanks to the front desk receptionist, Ms. Aleah who was very professional and helpful. Thank you :-) The place is great. Loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi. We would stay there again! OH! And by the way, the breakfast is delicious!!!! Good coffee, too!

My husband and I came to enjoy hiking in Manitou Springs. We chose this hotel because of great ratings and its close proximity to Garden of the Gods. We loved our room- clean, comfortable bed, and we appreciate having a microwave and frig in the room. Our reason for not giving this hotel a 5 is the front desk service. No one answered the phone when we needed something in our room. When we asked the best way to walk to Garden of the Gods, we were given directions to take Manitou Ave.- right in front of the hotel- and continue until we reached Garden of the Gods Road. As we proceeded, I noticed a sign for Beckers Lane about a half block from the hotel and wondered if that would take us there, as well. But these directions came from a native, so we followed them. An hour later, we arrived at the Trading Post and discovered Beckers Lane would have taken us there in less than half the time. The man behind the desk was dismissive and rude, clearly uninterested in providing us with good information and should not work with the public. What a shame because the rest of our stay in Manitou Springs was stellar!

When we asked the best way to walk to Garden of the Gods, we were given directions to take Manitou Ave.- right in front of the hotel- and continue until we reached Garden of the Gods Road. As we proceeded, I noticed a sign for Beckers Lane about a half block from the hotel and wondered if that would take us there, as well. But these directions came from a native, so we followed them. An hour later, we arrived at the Trading Post and discovered Beckers Lane would have taken us there in less than half the time. The man behind the desk was dismissive and rude, clearly uninterested in providing us with good information and should not work with the public. What a shame because the rest of our stay in Manitou Springs was stellar!

Ancient, hard, bouncy mattresses. Mattresses do not have complete covers. They use a pad under the fitted sheet, but it doesn’t completely cover the top of the mattress. Flattened, old, hard pillows. No one in the family slept well. The room seemed to be missing arm chairs/seating. There was a random floor lamp alone in the corner where a chair would normally be. The room was tired and they need to invest in better/new mattresses and pillows. The room smelled very strongly of some sort of cleaning product. I am glad they clean the room, but we had to open the window to air out the room. The continental breakfast was good and the attendant was great. She was super quick to restock and help all of the guests. The hotel was quiet and the location is good, but we would never stay there again unless they overhaul the furnishing and bedding. We spent the day after our stay tired and in pain due to the terrible beds.

The hotel is very clean and well kept, so even though it is older, it is still a very pleasant place to stay. At check in the front desk agent didn’t greet me, instead I had to initiate conversation saying “Hi, I need to check in”, she glanced up at me and said “just a minute, I just need to finish this” and proceeded to write down some notes. She then acknowledged me and asked if I was checking in… yes.. I already stated that. She informed me I’d be charged at check in and a hold placed on my card that they would release after check out, and I’d have to contact my bank to get the funds released more quickly if I wanted them. It was a peculiar check in inter action. The room was clean, the linens seemed fresh. Unfortunately we had some storms come through and so the satellite TV wasn’t working and the dated TV did not have any way to stream from my phone- so I had nothing to watch. The beds were VERY soft- comfy for lounging, but not the best for anyone needing support. Breakfast in the morning was good, the area was clean and well attended to with a good variety of items available. When I went to check out, I told the desk attendant I was checking out and she tapped a clear box labeled “express check out” without saying anything to me. The location was great- within easy driving distance of all the sites I wanted to see, with plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable- but maybe consider updating the tv’s to accommodate streaming.

Comfy room - and a balcony! It would have been nice to have chairs on it though. Appreciated having plenty of non-decaf coffee in the room and the breakfast was really well done. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too!

Have stayed here 5 times now. The property is excellent and convenient to Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods. The front desk service is great. The banana bread for breakfast is my go to.

Loved the location! We were within walking distance to the free shuttle that took you into Manitou Springs. Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City was a quick 5 minute drive away. We were also a short drive from downtown Colorado Springs. There were 4 of us and we had connecting rooms. The breakfast in the morning was good. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel was a good basic hotel. Room was very typical room. More spacious than most. Small sofa facing tv. King bed, and the room also had a good size refrigerator and microwave. Place was very clean throughout. Breakfast was good. Location was perfect if you are there for hiking as we were. Five minute walk from Garden of the Gods. Seven minute drive to Manitou incline. Five minutes to downtown Manitou. Ten minutes to downtown Colorado Springs. Fifteen minutes from Seven Falls. We had a great stay for eight days and were really glad we picked that location. We would stay there again.

Well maintained property with good amenities located in the perfect spot for our trip. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, continental breakfast in the morning, and the fitness room. They even had a spot for us to mail postcards at the front desk and cucumber water in the front lobby. We could easily drive west to downtown Manitou and the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, or east to Old Colorado City and Colorado Springs. Very close to Garden of the Gods as well, and we could walk to a good restaurant across the street. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is great because the area is historic. Views of the mountains and garden of the gods are stunning. Staff were mostly friendly. The bed was a bit lumpy that made sleeping difficult. Room was clean and breakfast was standard hotel style buffet - just edible. Coffee and infused water always available in the lobby.

We loved this hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, great breakfast, and we loved the pool & hot tub. The hot tub felt nice after doing the Manitou incline! By the way, the parking to the shuttle for the incline is super close to the hotel. I wish I new that before paying for parking, but I hope it helps you. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were nice and reasonably priced, but they served eggs and sausages every other day, and eggs were always cold. Sausages were warm not hot. Every other day they switch their breakfast to biscuits and gravy. Good for most people,but if you have a gluten allergy that only leaves you with yogurt and fruit for breakfast. Food was only replaced when it was almost gone.

We flew in for the 30th annual coffin races location was great for this event. Rooms were very clean they could have used a blanket in the rooms. To be fair I didn't call down and ask for one. The breakfast was very, very basic could have used eggs bacon or sausage something hot to start the morning. Other than that lovely visit.
