The rooms are fine if a little overpriced but it’s a tourist town in August. The breakfast was one of the best buffets ever though. Excellent choices and real cooked food! Staff is excellent and the hot springs pool and vapor cave are amazing.

They offer a lot more than other properties in the area - a number of their own hot springs, 2 swimming pools (all-fenced), their own Jeep and ATV rentals (on premises), and a true hot buffet breakfast with many excellent-tasting selections, like a cruise ship, probably 30 or so items, not counting drinks, and they also vary it day by day. The breakfast lasts till 10:30 (so you don't need to be forced to get up early, if you want to sleep in). The rest is on par with other hotels - clean spacious rooms, quiet, good service, TVs with a good number of channels, etc. Checkout at 11 am, check-in could be done after hours (they close at 9-9:30 and leave you the keys and info). Would definitely stay again.

Beware of Deceptive Marketing. You may book a reservation thinking you are staying at the Twin Peaks resort, but be placed in a property that is blocks from the resort and below standard. I booked a stay here in July, but was placed at a hotel formerly called the Ouray Victorian Inn instead. My room was accessed through a back entrance that felt like an alley. There was a camper on cinder blocks and maintenance equipment on both sides of my room. Immediately, I spoke with the hotel desk who informed me that 3rd party booking sites have a difficult time distinguishing their properties, and offered no alternative. I have traveled a lot in my 50 years of life, and have never had a greater case of bait and switch. Beware of their shady business practices.

Amazing staff and great facility. I have stayed here a few times and each time I have had trouble with the toilets. Maintenance came quickly and fixed the problems.
