It was a good hotel. Only thing I am disabled and they have no elevator! The room was very comfortable with a great air conditioner! Not enough blankets I like my room cool and like to cover up, not warm enough!

Place is perfectly fine for what it is, location is right off the highway, check in was easy, the staff were friendly and parking is free and easy. Only gripe we had was that we had asked for a non smoking room, which they acknowledged on check in, but once we got to our room it smelled of smoke and cigarettes. Suggestion being they keep non smoking rooms how they should be, not on a per customer basis.

The hotel wasn’t bad, you do need to be prepared to drive outside of the area for dining and other attractions. Nothing is walk-in distance. The hotel also doesn’t offer any extra amenities like a pool or gym. It was ok for a quick two night stay but the beds were SO uncomfortable. Wasn’t horrible but can’t say I’d stay there again.

Hadn't stayed at a Motel 6 in a while and was forced into staying at this one due to lack of other options. This is a very basic facility with no frills to say the least. Room floors not carpeted. No food other than coffee in the AM. No hairdryer. Significant number of units occupied by longer term residents. Door stuck but learned to kick it open. But everything basically worked and was clean. AC and refrigerator worked fine. The desk staff was helpful. Would not have picked this place but it was ok under the circumstances.

Front-desk people were great. Otherwise, as the old saying goes, if you have nothing good to say.... TVs got 6 stations, the shower head was at a great height if you're under 5'5, but if you're 6'3, not so much. the only amenity was coffee and ice, no food vending machines, no breakfast available. And there was no house-keeping during the two days I was there.

I stayed for the weekend with my family of 3 and our dog. The location of this motel was great, it was a pet friendly option close to Mystic. The staff was friendly and quickly fixed our key on the second day when it wasn’t working. They also easily accommodated my last minute request for a 1st floor room. The property itself was quiet. The room, however, wasn’t that great. It wasn’t swept very well, hair and debris were on the floor. There were also food crumbs in the dresser and microwave. The bedding was clean but it was obvious that it needs to replaced. The property grounds were similarly in need of upkeep. The grassy area to walk dogs was dirty with trash. With a little increased cleanliness, this motel would be a really nice spot. Unfortunately I don’t think I’d stay again, with all the other options in this area.

Woke up to bed bugs crawling on us. Found more crawling around the bed. Told the woman at the desk. She didn’t look at all surprised. She refunded us the cost of the room and said she’d have it closed off.

Asked for a non smoking Room and gave a room that smell mariguana. Front desk changed to another room and did not smell , however the floors were unswept and full of long black hair. So I had to ask for a broom and I sweep it my self and clean the floor with windex . That tells me that that floor hasn’t been swept for days. Aldo loosed toilet , towels well worn out,bed is terrible uncomfortable .

The room wreaked of cigarette smoke and was supposed to be a non smoking room. There was hair everywhere, tub, sink, countertop. The door was really hard to open and close. The exterior wreaked of pot smoke. The stairs and building were in terrible shape. Wish I took pics of the building and stairs.

It was conveniently located after a late night/early morning check in. It was however loud as the walls were thin therefore hearing the neighboring rooms television upon arrival and again before the 9:00 am alarm that was set. Bed had metal that made a noise with every movement and the pillows were not comfortable. Nice staff. I wouldnt likely stay here again, but it isnt the worst.

The lobby when you walk in smells clean and looks clean. Staff was friendly. The rooms are clean. My only issue is the digital television. We were barely able to watch the tv because the channels wouldn’t come in. And the temperature in the shower. But other than that it is downtown and convenient. Stores and restaurants close by. I will stay again in the future.

The receptionists were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean. However, the place needs major updating. We booked in total 5 rooms and in each room the heating/air-conditioning units were very noisy. The bed frames were squeaky. The towels were worn and almost torn. In one of the rooms there was a huge bubble on the ceiling due to some water damage.

The desk clerk working around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th, was extremely rude. I had never stayed there before and was assigned a room on the second floor. All the doors to the rooms are on the exterior, but there are no visible stairs to get to the second floor. I had to go back to the desk to ask where the stairs were and the clerk was very irritated by my question. Turns out the stairwell is on the inside of the building for the rooms that are on the exterior. Does not make sense and something that you would never figure out unless you've stayed there before. I also told her that I had my dog with me, so you would think that she would put me on the first floor so I could easily take my dog out. Instead she gives me a second floor room and the motel was by no means full. All that aside, except for a very strong smell of bleach in the room that I tried to lessen with air freshener spray, my room was fairly clean. It seem to take forever to get any hot water, and then it was only warm. The motel is in an area that is quiet and not by the highway and the rates are reasonable especially if you are trying to attend a concert at the casino and need sleep before facing an out-of-state drive home. All in all not a bad stay for a budget motel. You really have to lower your expectations, and consider the price and you won't be so disappointed.

Manager was friendly and let me check in 30 minutes early. My 2nd floor room was clean and quiet, heat worked well with a constant hum which I prefer instead of it kicking on and off, and water was very hot. The bed was very firm which is typical of these lower cost motels. Just coffee in the morning which I did not try. A good experience overall - I would stay here again.

I think the hotel is now under new management and I can tell that they care and they were definitely responsive to my needs. Which is a big deal when you’re talking about this level of Hotel. You can tell they’re taking an old hotel and doing their best to keep it up.

This hotel location is perfect if you have a reservation on the Cross Island Ferry. Short drive from the hotel to the ferry terminal and both are easy to find. Still waiting for my room receipts. The staff at check-in assured me the receipts would be emailed and verified my email address. Need the receipts to submit my travel voucher.

Place is perfectly fine for what it is, location is right off the highway, check in was easy, the staff were friendly and parking is free and easy. Only gripe we had was that we had asked for a non smoking room, which they acknowledged on check in, but once we got to our room it smelled of smoke and cigarettes. Suggestion being they keep non smoking rooms how they should be, not on a per customer basis.

The hotel wasn’t bad, you do need to be prepared to drive outside of the area for dining and other attractions. Nothing is walk-in distance. The hotel also doesn’t offer any extra amenities like a pool or gym. It was ok for a quick two night stay but the beds were SO uncomfortable. Wasn’t horrible but can’t say I’d stay there again.
The hotel wasn’t bad, you do need to be prepared to drive outside of the area for dining and other attractions. Nothing is walk-in distance. The hotel also doesn’t offer any extra amenities like a pool or gym. It was ok for a quick two night stay but the beds were SO uncomfortable. Wasn’t horrible but can’t say I’d stay there again.

The room wasn't awful, could use a lot of updating. It was old and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Luckily for close to home trips I travel with a large fan. Once we could circulate the air it was better. We had to circulate the air with the door open. The area didn't seem too friendly. Additionally, some cars in the parking lot looked like this could have been home for a lot of people. It was a little sketchy. If I had my things with me, at the casino, I might've driven home instead of staying. I would not stay here again, but it might be fine for other people. The positve was that there was no carpet. So it wasn't an allergy den for me.

Pros: the staff were nice, location was in a generally nice area, and parking was easy. Cons: the room felt slightly damp from the humid air of the area. I would not mind staying here again though if I needed to come back.

There was nothing unique. It was not a great property. The outside areas, especially the concrete needs a lot of work. It could be dangerous. The floors were dirty; my significant other wears white socks and when he walked around the room the bottoms of his socks got very dirty. The room at times smelled musty, and also of urine. There were no toiletries except for 2 small bars of soap. We had to ask for tissues. There was no ironing board or iron. The website stated there was a hair dryer which was not true. The website stated that the hotel served hot breakfast. That was not available. Coffee was available, but the coffee pot and surrounding area was dirty. Apparently the backside of the bathroom door had just been painted. We were not informed and when I used the bathroom, I got paint all over my hand. The staff did address our needs, but I would never stay there again.

Hadn't stayed at a Motel 6 in a while and was forced into staying at this one due to lack of other options. This is a very basic facility with no frills to say the least. Room floors not carpeted. No food other than coffee in the AM. No hairdryer. Significant number of units occupied by longer term residents. Door stuck but learned to kick it open. But everything basically worked and was clean. AC and refrigerator worked fine. The desk staff was helpful. Would not have picked this place but it was ok under the circumstances.

Manager was friendly and let me check in 30 minutes early. My 2nd floor room was clean and quiet, heat worked well with a constant hum which I prefer instead of it kicking on and off, and water was very hot. The bed was very firm which is typical of these lower cost motels. Just coffee in the morning which I did not try. A good experience overall - I would stay here again.

The lobby when you walk in smells clean and looks clean. Staff was friendly. The rooms are clean. My only issue is the digital television. We were barely able to watch the tv because the channels wouldn’t come in. And the temperature in the shower. But other than that it is downtown and convenient. Stores and restaurants close by. I will stay again in the future.

Front-desk people were great. Otherwise, as the old saying goes, if you have nothing good to say.... TVs got 6 stations, the shower head was at a great height if you're under 5'5, but if you're 6'3, not so much. the only amenity was coffee and ice, no food vending machines, no breakfast available. And there was no house-keeping during the two days I was there.
