There was NOT a NON-SMOKING room available on the ground floor (which I need and had requested due to my injured knee), because "three rooms need maintenance: one has roaches, the other two have 'water problems. '" The clerk thought he was doing me a big favor giving me a a double room which could only be accessed up a flight of steep, outside stairs. This property is run-down, with worn out rugs and furniture. The room had a decided musty smell. NO electric outlet anywhere near the bed. And the parking lot had at least 4 run-down junk cars, each if which had at least one flat tire (one had three flat tires and one had two). I will NOT be staying here again!

Office closes at midnight and you can’t get into your room if you arrive later

More than half the place is closed whole place looks like a dump. Office closed it is located in one of the rooms. Door key didnt work. We didnt feel safe staying and left. No refund. But not staying in a dump

This hotel shouldn’t even be listed on your site. The registration building has been condemned, with check-in being done in one of the ground floor hotel rooms. There are no lights in the parking lots, nor is the wreaked main business sign lit at night. The few people who were staying here were full-time tenants who appeared to be welfare recipients. After check-in, I arrived to my room and checked for bed bugs, which I discovered alive and well. Two living specimens, as well as dead adults and nymphal stage bugs found in the mattresses and bed liners. I received a refund for the room, and will be petitioning Hotel.com for a refund based upon my experience. Get this place off of your site please !!!

Stopover in CT on the way from New England back to New York. Wasnt looking for 4* (and this hotel didnt disappoint). Definitely one for the functional overnight stop rather than an extended stay. Good thing about the hotel is that it was priced competitively. Classic US hotel/motel of c. 1970-1980 (and the bathroom indicated as much). Not particularly clean or modern or well appointed, but then at this price point, you get what you pay for. OK for the one night stopover like I say. Wouldnt want to spend much longer. Police seemed to be familar with the hotel - had two squad cars in the parking lot as we were leaving. Still makes for a great story.

They had no reservation for me, there are cop cars all over the parking lot with the cops talking to the people in the room next to me and although there's a kitchenette with a mini fridge & microwave, the only cups are the small plastic ones that would melt int the microwave,

Dirty bathroom, broke down vehicle in the parking lot, dirty towels still n the bathroom even after replacing with clean ones, back window was broken, it couldn't close, i don't recommend this place unless u really don't care about cleanliness...

The motel should be charged with fraud. The pictures on the Hotels.com website are fraudulent. There was a fire 🔥 in the motel last month that caused major fire damage to the office and rooms. The front desk is being operated front a motel room. I saw 2 rooms and I left right away last night. I stayed at a much better hotel. The Flag Ship should be taken off the Hotels.com website. I want my money back.

Fire on property, half of the building unusable.

Although there was no open front desk, I refused to check in as the facility looks like the doors had been kicked in in several rooms and were patched with plywood. Photo and rreviews on the ad are deceptive. Photos are of the place but taken maybe 30+ years ago. I am surprised that hotels.com doesn't check these places before allowing them onto their site.

Cockroaches everywhere crawling on the walls. The place was nasty they had to give me another room with two beds I will not book this place again. I am disappointed.

My Room had Bed Bugs and I had problems them refunding my money even though I did not stay there.

It was disgusting, full of cockroaches and the guy at the desk was like oh ok, you don't get anything back. So gross. There are broken down cars in the parking lot and windows that don't close. The bathroom was nasty dirty and old. The light switch didn't work, the TV didn't work. Just a dump

We did not stay. The room reserved the bathroom tub was disgusting where there was hair in the drain and soap scum in the tub. The room screamed of mildew odor. We were shown another room but it was in the same bad awful condition.

Positive things...the water was hot, the air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Negative things,,,the room was really dirty. There was a 12 inch diameter circle of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The door to the bathroom didn't close. Trash can was dirty and was never emptied. The towels were not clean. Advertised breakfast did not exist. Although we got a non-smoking room, the bed cover was full of holes made by cigarettes. I suggest steering clear of this motel

Is full of bed bugs rouches the mattress have blood on them it was terrible after hotel we went to hospital my man got one bite from a be bug

This property should be shut down. The property was extremely dirty, had mold in the shower and on the shower curtain, the air and heating had mold on it. The window would not lock. Smoke detector was in the drawer with no batteries

The room was disgusting. My shoes felt like they were sticking to the very worn carpet. The refrigerator was dirty. The shower curtain was too small, the shower rod was all rusted, the paint was coming off the walls and there were dead bugs in the light fixture.

Upon arrival I was told rudely that I was an hour early, check in was not at 2pm, it was at 3pm. I asked if i could atleast know which room I was in, and the guy was once again rude and told me to come back at 3pm and then he would tell me. When I did finally check in I noticed a sign that said breakfast was suspened, so not only did I look for that adementy while looking for a room but it was still on their sign when you entered their parking lot. I went to my room, I walked into an absolute dump. Walls are dirty and cracked, frig is nasty inside and out, bedding is gross as well. (Thank god I travel with blankets and pillows.)The shower head was covered in mold, and the towels were stained. No alarm clock, no coffee maker and even the hair dryer was not usable due to the wire being damged and wires exposed. Only good thing I can say about this dump is the shower did have alot of pressure so atleast I could wash the nastiness off me from sleeping in their bed.

The first room we were assigned was absolutely appalling...No water at all in the bath/shower, no hot water in the sink, the bathtub was very soiled....ring doesn't even begin to describe it....the veneer was peeling off the bathroom door. It didn't take long for us to go back to the office to ask for another room. This we were granted, and though it was somewhat less awful, there was masking tape holding the drawers together, and the only thing that seemed to be clean, was the sheets, which seemed OK, though everything, I mean everything in the unit was at the very least, shabby. We were tired so decided we would stay, not expecting anything much better anywhere else. The TV remote was small and there was no guide. When we were finally able to get CBS news, it was from the previous night. Ye Gods!! To give this place two stars is to denigrate any other two star places. There was a disabled car in front of our unit, parked across the parking place with a flat front tire and duct tape around the windows. We did manage to get enough hot water from this shower to manage, but were relieved to leave the next morning without itching. Oh, and one of the bedside lamps had no shade. There were no outlets anywhere near the bed, so I had to forego the use of my C-Pap. Are you getting the picture???? There is no reason this property should be listed at all on Hotels.com. This is the first time I have used your site, and I will be very wary in the futue.

The room smelled the shower was broken and toilet was clogged and i wasnt able to tell anyone in the office. The paint was peeling from the walls the bed made an awful sound every time I moved.

The staff is great, but the rooms are not well kept. The towels are dirty and the toilet lid was off, so we couldn’t even sit correctly on the toilet. The phone does not work in the room and there was no WiFi

The room condition is the worse I have ever encountered in all my travels around the world. Here are a few problems I observed: Paint peeling, hole in the wall, tiles in the bathroom broken or loose, black mold growing on the window in the bathroom, no hangers in closet, no smoke detector, no outlets near the bed, floor covering severely warped, very dusty on most surfaces, bath towels under sized. All this for $109 a night??!! Recommend Expedia remove this property off their listing.

Nothing worked. The lights didn’t have lightbulbs. There’s a weird smell in the bathroom. Very creepy people looking at us and being weird. The tv didn’t work no signal. Just sat in darkness.

Cockroaches! The room came to lfe at sundown! Stinks! Broken everything! Shower didn't drain! Nasty fridge! A/C broke! No curtains on the broken bathroom window! Loud drug use all night in the back yard! We heard it through the broken bathroom window! Disgusting!!!

I like the big space , 2 sinks , one in the bathroom and one outside , clean , complete with microwave and refrigerator. I don’t like the stained towel and noisy AC, out of service ice machine.

The room i was originally assigned to smelled horribly, i paid for non smoking room. Then i was given another room that still smelled, just ad bad. The man at the front desk sprayed some lysol spray; it didnt help. The night lamp was broken, the bathtub was dirty. They need to do a better job, customers want their moneys worth.

The stay was a total disgrace room was in terrible shape tv didn’t work furniture falling apart walls and ceiling falling apart. This place should be ashamed to rent rooms in this condition

Got locked out of room and no one in office. No smoke detector, just dangling wife and window wouldn't shut

The receptionist on site assigned me a room per my request upon my call to the hotel prior to check-in. I requested a ground level non-smoking room with a King bed per my online booking and over the phone with him but when I arrived, the night receptionist that I spoke to earlier assigned me to a smoking room by accident, and that they only had a non-smoking room with double beds available. I refused that because that was not what I booked so he was kind enough to put me in an upgraded non-smoking room (King bed with a jacuzzi tub) for no extra charge. Not that I needed a jacuzzi tub, but I was pleased that the room was still had a King bed and was non-smoking. I was grateful for the accommodation!

I was charged taxes and fees even though the room taxes were paid to Expedia I inquired about this charge and the check in clerk couldn’t explain how I can get a refund. The TV never worked and went to the office , they changed the batteries of the control and still couldn’t turn it on.

The front desk staff was very friendly & personable

Cockaroach infestation checked out immediately. Front desk guaranteed full refund. Two days later Expedia informed me that manager refused the refund. Nasty room and unprofessional management. STAY AWAY!!

The staff wouldnt accept that I made the purchase on Orbitz. Showed him all the proof on my phone, showed him the credit card i used to pay,etc. Told me to pay cash, the same price as i payed on orbitz, and that orbitz would refund me my money I payed on my CC when i explained to them what happend. It was almost 2am, I didnt want to argued, so I did it. WHen i requested a refund at orbitz, they denied me after they spoke with the staff at flagsship inn, who im sure denied my story. So I payed twice for my stay in a pretty dirty room, with pieces of the wall missing in the bathroom. I was wondering if cameras could be looking though the about 4 inch high missing piece of wall along the whole bathroom counter. Stay somewhere else in the area would be my recommendation.

It was very dirty, the guy in the front desk was aggressive, he saw that my booking was on the computer but wanted to charge me again, he would not had me back my ID, he kept insisting that I should stay there, it was roach infested!!! Do not stay here unless it’s your very last choice.

We had three people in our party but were only allowed two towels. In order to get more towels, you had to bring the two dirty towels to the front desk to get more.

I wasn't able to sleep as the room i got smells smoke when i requested non-smoking. The room given was in the back, which is dark while we are walking. Informed that NO BREAKFAST being served. When the ads specified continental breakfast included. Absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Very dirty and damaged - wet floor under sink, holes in wall, boarded up windows, bare bulbs overhead and no lamp shade, hair dryer didn't function. No breakfast as advertised. Shady dealings in the parking lot. I left before the second night.

as we were checking in the police showed up, the owner said it was nothing to worry about and the police left, ten minutes two police cars an ambulance and a fire truck showed up. the sheriff we talked to said it was a drug overdose. he also said they get called there almost every day and it was not a safe place to stay. the sheriff recommended that we get out of there and stay elsewhere. we had not brought our things into the room yet so i went to the office, told them we were leaving and wanted a refund which we did not get but we left anyway. we did not feel the money was worth risking our lives for

I do realize that I get what I paid for. But that was just disgusting. It was a horrible experience.. I should have slept in my car with the heat on! Its partially my fault, I should’ve done more homework. That place is so bad. There’s definitely some type of prostitution going on there as well as drugs and sell the cigarettes out of their rooms. I’d rather stay in jail Cell to stay in that room again. The paint shipping crayon markings the walls. the carpet is disgusting. I requested a smoke-free room and the room smelled of old cigarettes and musty cowboy boots. I hope no one ever stays in that place. I hope they shut it down after getting ready to go to my event that was close by. I walk out in this police fireman were everywhere that was very alarming. That place should be shut down, gutted and done over again with better management.

This property was okay. Your website says it offers breakfast. They do not. And no gym. It was clean and we felt safe. We would return if need be

Complementary breakfast mentioned while booking but not offered during stay. First room was stuffy and smelt like smoke and mold. Second room a/c not very powerful while outside was over 80 which made it difficult to relax or sleep. Sheets didn't smell clean i slept on top of the bed with my own blanket from my car. Not the quality I was expecting but for the low price I guess its the quality you get.

The room was dirty and there were numerous holes in the walls poorly patched. The shower floor was filthy and felt like it was about to break and the shower head was taped on and spaying everywhere. The booking stated continental breakfast was included but the hotel apparently “suspended” this service.

Biggest problem would be advertises breakfast included but it is not included.

When I made the reservation, complimentary breakfast was included. When I arrived we were told it was canceled. There was broken glass where we were parked and asked for a broom and was told there would be someone to clean it up. It was still there when we left. That is a safety issue, we could have ended up with a flat tire.

Listing for hotel said breakfast included. Breakfast services have been discontinued for some time. The listing is not accurate. Rooms smelled like cigarettes even though the front desk assured us that the hotel is non-smoking. Sheets and blankets needed a wash.

Breakfast was advertised but when arrived there was none offered. The staff could barely be understood. The blanket had a cigarette hole in it and dirty like old food stuck to it. The ceiling looked like patchwork.the tub needed to be replaced or painted.the property needs upgrading. Would not stay there again.
