First time in Stamford. Comfortable, ten minute walk to train for nyc show. Free parking and breakfast included made it more economical than other comparable hotels in the area. Great Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. Drawback - no pool.

Attendants were friendly and very helpful . Someone always available to assist , or answer a question without being overbearing. Very clean and comfortable. Very pet friendly! Hot, and cold breakfast . Will definitely stay there again in a few a weeks.

The check in process was easy. The clerk was pleasant and helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable. The only thing that isn’t perfect is the parking lot, which is awkward to maneuver in.

The hotel was very convenient off of 95 and the fact that there is no additional charge for parking is a bonus. The room was immaculate and I had a nice balcony which was a surprise. The Italian restaurant attached was good but I wouldn’t recommend the pizza! The hotel breakfast was well done with several choices and a comfortable breakfast room.

Here for one night… my son went to get in the bed at 11pm and there were 6-8 hairs within the sheets. I took a video and called down to front desk to ask for new sheets and pillow cases and was told someone would come up. We waited 25 mins with no show. Went down to front desk and got the manager that was getting off shift. He came back up to the room with me and took pictures of the hairs. He immediately changed our room which was nice but the room had 1 king bed and a small sofa bed which was a downgrade from our 2 queens. We were then told we would have to contact Expedia to complain as we booked through a third party.

We informed them of this and after an hour delay, we were finally able to check in and instructed to speak to the manager in the morning about the balance. Hotels.com took care of that situation and made sure the hotel didn’t charge us. The room was filthy, hairs on the nightstands, pubes on the toilet rim, literal hairs in the towels and more hair in the shower. The hotel was made aware and didn’t do anything about it except for exchange the towels. We decided to deal with it and go to sleep, as we had just driven 7 hours and then took almost an hour to check in at midnight. The hotel would not offer a refund for the stay and neither would Hotels.com. Worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at.

The service was great. We were checked in promptly and without issue. The breakfast is a typical continental spread but was hot and plentiful. The room was clean and well appointed. The only note we had was that it's right next to a school and there is frequent noise starting around 8am from the playground and the A/C unit in our room was extremely noisy (we turned off the fan and it was much better but during a hot/cold time of year, that may not be an option).

I have stayed here a few times for business travel because the location is very convenient to all major highways. There is free self parking and daily breakfast. All the rooms have been updated and provide comfortable space. Clean and spacious. A family owned Italian restaurant within the complex which is also a plus. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Hotel staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming.

Up to date furnishings, clean, breakfast was good and had a variety of options. The suite we stayed in was expansive and the sofa bed was decent for a sofa bed. One downside was that we were on the front side of the hotel and our room had wooden blinds that let in light from the patio of the restaurant connected to the restaurant. There was no blackout curtain over those blinds but there were black out curtains over the large windows in the room. Overall, the hotel was great!

Hotel is serviceable. However, when I checked in, the employee was not "present"; the person seemed distracted and annoyed that they had to work. The person also gave me a different guest's hotel room (eek!). I only realized it was the wrong room because my internet access didn't work (since it was tied to my name and room number). The fourth floor had a smell to it but not the third (where my real room was). Overall, I would stay here again as the worst part of my experience was the check in experience and that is highly dependent on who is working at the front desk.

Excellent property with free parking and clean and comfortable rooms. This would be a 5 star review if I didn’t have maybe the worst customer service of my life on the way out of my stay. I had discovered that I had a pending charge on my card for what I had already paid months before for the room through Expedia after already checking in and paying for the refundable incidental. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive rather than working with me and/or redirecting me. As long as I know that this woman still works there I will never stay at this hotel again. Don’t work at a front desk if you are a rude and inconsiderate person. She even refused to let me speak to a manager when I requested to and asked if she could help the people behind me when I was trying to problem solve with her to see why I was double charged for the stay. Thankfully the customer service line on Expedia helped me solve the problem.

Property was great and staff was nice. The only issue I had was that the room I booked and received confirmation for was not available when I arrived. I was told this was due to third party ticketing, however I booked it through Expedia and have never had this issue before.

The property itself was decent and safe. However one day the elevator was out and had to walk up and down three flights of stairs to get to our room. My biggest issue is that they put some bogus charge on my credit card for almost $300. When I went down to ask them about it they couldn’t explain how it got there. First person said it was a pet fee (which I did not have a pet). Manager said she didn’t know how it got there but said it would be reversed in a few days. Unfortunately it caused an issue for me at the next city I went to when I checked into my next hotel. The manager did nothing but apologize for the inconvenience. It’s just not acceptable that they mysteriously charged my account for no reason. I sure hope I see the transaction reversed soon! Because of this issue, I would never stay there again!
