Online it says free self parking. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and never been charged for parking while we travel. This time upon check in we were charge $10 per night to leave our car here even though it clearly says parking included and free self parking. I asked when they started charging for parking and was told that they have always charged. Which is a complete lie. Not happy with the unexpected charge at the start of our vacation. If you want to charge for parking it should state that on your site.

There is no stairs but they have a cart for you to roll your luggage to stairs. The pool was not heated. The breakfast sucked. “OJ”watered down, more like orange water. Waffle maker did not work. They had cream cheese and no bagels. The butter for the toast was frozen. The eggs were swimming in grease and the attendant came and dumped the sausage patties in the water of the steamers. And when told that’s not what you do, she didn’t speak English and walked out.

Walked into the room and it smelled like smoke. Didn't complain because it was only a one night stay and it was already 9 pm. Started organizing my things for the next morning before turning down the sheets. That's when I saw the sheets were dirty and had a stain on them. Went down to the front desk because that is totally unacceptable. The guy at the desk was extremely rude and tried to blame me because I turned the sheets down a half hour after I got into the room. Never even apologized and I had to ask for a new room. The guy in the morning at checkout was not pleasant either. Overall the hotel has a rundown feel. Would not recommend at all.

Clean and spacious rooms. The only thing is that my room had a huge juice stain in the carpet but everything else was excellent. The lady in the kitchen very lovely and attentive I love that ❤️ Definitely coming back!!

Carpets in the haIlways are dirty, with lots of dust and debris in corners. In my room there was dust/grime build up on the baseboards throughout the room, but especially in the bathroom where a glob of toothpaste from (presumably) the last occupant remained in the sink. Some of the fixtures seem to have been caulked to within an inch of their lives , while the soap dispensers were made of cheap metal that I thought would clatter off the wall each time I used it. The shower water never got very hot either morning of my stay and the temperature went from tepid to cool as I showered. The little sofa in the room was dirty and looked tired and old. We did not sit on it during or stay. The bedcoverings (they were white) seemed clean. Both mornings of our the coffee ran out at breakfast and guests had to locate the staff member to refill/replace. Just a really tattered, depressing facility that is not being well maintained.

Staff was friendly although the room was not very clean. The tub was drained due to excessive hair clogging the drain. Hair throughout the bathroom. Breakfast was ok when it was kept up with. Pool was freezing. Other than that it was alright

The only thing good about this stay was the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was disgusting. There was dried urine in front of the toilet, hair in the corner, debris under the sink with a stain. My husband wiped the floor with a towel and it came up very dirty.

The staff was great breakfast was alright, but, but the place needs an up date and the rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned. The mattress for the pull out had no sheets and had stains on it also under the pullout had trash ewww. Also there was hair sll over the sheets on both beds. Disgusting! Management needs to have a serious talk with housekeeping

The floors of our room were damp. The entire hotel smelled of mildew and there were clear signs of water damage on many spots of the ceiling in multiple places throughout the building. It’s a shame too because the room itself was really nice, especially the bathroom, it all just smelled so musty. The smell smacked you right in the face when you open the door.

The staff was great. My room smelled the entire trip like cigarette smoke. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. The room was very noisy. I could hear someone whistling loud for quite awhile outside of the room and kids running around and yelling in the next room. The breakfast was good but cold.

They have full-sized hair and body soap. They are pretty clean for a chain hotel and management was nice. You can hear everything in the hallway, literally everything. So, walls are super thin, if you’re a light sleeper it’s not the best when you have a 3am wake up planned. Then again, I imagine most hotels you hear a lot. But I heard running, kids, and cabinets being slammed. Other than noise, the staff were nice, check in and out were easy peasy, rooms were 8/10 for cleanliness rating, breakfast had decent options, and parking was free. I’d stay here again.

The night staff at the front desk went on like he was doing me a favor. The safe in the room was not working and the sink was leaking from under. The room was changed the next day when I made a complain to the day staff. I left a request for wake up call Did not get.

This facility exceeds our expectations. The front desk person Pad was excellent. He’s amazing with a very welcoming attitude, very accommodating , friendly, full of good energy, professional, & treated us with courtesy. He even had a great deal parking our vehicle in their lot. The shuttle driver was outstanding. We highly recommend this place to those who love cleanliness, tidiness & perfection. The reception area smells fresh & clean, it’s presentable & very organized. The room is excellent, beddings smell fresh & clean. Everything is immaculate. Very well managed, congratulations

Overnight staff Friday 2/21/2025, 3:30a and Saturday 2/28/2025, 11:30pm were abrasive and not helpful. He acted annoyed that we interrupted him using his personal cell phone while he was sitting at the front desk (when we were leaving for our flight and again when we returned to pick up our car). Very rude.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The staff was very accommodating to my family even as we gathered in the dining area to talk and spend time together as a group. A family member left her phone in the hotel room after checking out and the staff member at the front desk at 4:30 am was AMAZING with the way he handled the situation at a very early morning hour.

Asked for a wake up call that never came. Also since I have mobility issues and use a walker, asked for accessible room.. The room was at the very end of a long corridor. The bathroom had 2 handrails in the front of the tub/shower the toilet was 'out in space' with no assistive rails even near it..This place is on "my never staying here again " list..Also the AM clerk, it was 4 AM, never looked up from his computer screen to interact with any of us waiting for the airport shuttle.

Very clean room, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The only reason I gave 4 stars because accessibilty for someone in a wheelchair was difficult. The main bathroom in lobby shows handicap picture but no bars in stall. Also tried to get an accessible room and unable to. So main concern was safety using toilet in room and in lobby was very unsafe due to no bars.

The worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever stayed at. Breakfast was poorly done - bacon wasn’t cooked, sausage was rubbery and chemically tasting. Utensils were provided ripped open boxes they had arrived.

Friendly staff, clean room, overall clean hotel and good location. Breakfast had a variety of choices and their 24 hour coffee machine was amazing! Fresh brewed coffee by the cup every time. Will stay here again when in Hartford.
