Everything was great. Short check in lines, clean rooms etc... The pool was closed for renovations. I would have liked to know that before booking our room as our children were excited to swim as part of our trip.

The hotel is located on the walkable area to downtown Washington DC and center of Georgetown. The staffs are friendly and the offered breakfast is great! But our first couple of staying days were no parking lot available in the hotel and swimming pool was on renovation, which were not convenient. The overall ranking is 4/5.

The room was clean. 1 of 3 elevators was out of service the whole time and at 1point, 2 were out. The hotel is very large and that was inconvenient. I think the laundry facilities could be upgraded (or free) there were 3 dryers but only 1 worked and only 1 washer on our floor. The pool was small and my daughter actually got hurt by falling into the maintenance hole that wasn't bolted down properly. The restaurant was good and the service there was great. The front desk wasnt very friendly. Parking is expensive. Overall, not what was expected for the cost.

i was there on MLK weekend in dc and it was a last minute trip. i was happy w the hotel- it had a lot of value, and was centrally located (very close to the ritz near dupont circle), georgetown is a few min away. the best part of the stay was the AMAZING breakfast including made-to-order omelets (incredible) , and agreat selection of other items. all the guests come out and enjoy breakfast in the open seating area and it gives a nice sense of community. their evening happy hour is also awesome- free drinks, and snack items. They also have a $25/per day stay credit towards the restaurant (we had amazing deserts), or items in the hotel store. the only thing that needs work was the pool hot tub area- the humidity was brutal and had caused bubbling of the walls, and leaks from the ceiling. also pool towels were tiny- upgrading towels seems like a small effort that would go a long way. if they fixed the pool area, it would make a huge difference. that said, i would highly recomend this hotel/ you’ll enjoy your stay!

Very dirty hotel. The bathroom doors had back hair stuck to it. Uncomfortable beds. Woke up both nights with back pain. Stayed for 2 night and was very disappointed with the hilton honors. They charge 25 dollars fee a night that is a credit to use at the hotel and if nkt used if lost. I felt it was fraud as you are forcing me to buy something that I don't want to buy. Plus when we wanted coffee there was none available. We picked this hotel because it was rated well however would not recommend staying here. Moreover, the parking at hotel was 60 dollars a night. Total rip off.

This is a very nice place to stay with kids (mine included). However, that also means it can be very noisy in the hallway. There are parents who actually put their kids in the hallway to scream and cry while you're trying to sleep in. Great housekeeping for the rooms. Also great is the breakfast buffet and the other menu options. I really appreciated the vouchers for the bar and restaurant. The "evening reception" really adds a relaxing vibe to the stay, although some of the front desk staff lack some social skills (such as smiling instead of the gen z stare). Bar staff is much more friendly and approachable, very helpful with the voucher situation as well. Lastly, the common areas need more cleaning. The restaurant chairs and tables are always sticky and nasty, probably wiped the same dirty rag for everything else. You will find food and debris inside the crevices of the chairs and everything else. Bring wipes.

Not worth the money!!! They do need to fix their showers- you would have to turn on the shower for at least 40 min to get hot water , otherwise water is hardly warm. Also, water pressure is so low. I have long hair and it took me forever to get the shampoo off my hair due to low water pressure. Rooms were outdated and not well cleaned. Will not be coming back.

We were really looking forward to our trip, but unfortunately our experience at this hotel was underwhelming. From the start, the staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond to any requests. We were given a room that smelled damp and had stained shower curtains—definitely not what you’d expect at this price point. (Photos attached) Housekeeping was a major issue. We called for service on the second day, and it took over 5 hours and three follow-ups before anyone showed up. We even left the hotel, played a round of mini golf, and came back to find them just finishing up. It felt like we were a burden rather than guests. There are some positives: the location is convenient, close to several landmarks and activities. The daily breakfast was decent, and the hot tub was nice enough. But none of that makes up for the lack of basic cleanliness and service. For $300 a night, I expected much more. Disappointed and unlikely to return.

The staff was great and very helpful! I only have great things to say about the staff. The property itself needs a much needed update. The carpet in our room was worn and stained in multiple spots. The bathtub had a continuous drip that wouldn’t stop, no matter how hard you turned the faucet. The tub was also very mildewed, probably because of the dripping water.

Reserved King bed but was told only two queens available. We previously stayed at the suites on the 9th floor The District. Got one more night at Embassy on the 3rd floor. That suite was not renovated and more rundown.

Wifi is very deficient, slow and hard to connect. The lady in charge of closing the door in Breakfast area is very rude and impolite. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lobby agents very nice and friendly..

We had a spacious queen suite, perfect for our family with 3 teens. Breakfast was amazing-best included breakfast we have ever seen! Evening reception good for drinks and light snack. 15-20 min walk to the mall area abd about 8-10 min walk to foggy bottom metro station. Area felt very safe and walkable in 20-35 min radius. Parking very safe and pricey, but city expected. We just left the car until checkout as driving in DC not easy or necessary. Pool is small and quite muggy and 3 elevators seems a little tight for the size hotel would be my only crituque

I came to this hotel 7 years ago and it was amazing, that is why I choose it again even when many cheaper options were available but I was so disappointed. At the check in staff was very impatient and when I asked questions she rushed me to look at a paper that would explain everything. Breakfast was never refilled so if you got there at a later time basically you got leftovers, water was never filled and when I asked for some staff told me I’ll have to pay for it. One of the elevators wasn’t working which made the wait so long. Sad to see is not what it was used to be.

They gave our room to someone else and only had a King suite available. One person had to sleep on the floor the entire stay and they didn’t even have extra pillows to give to us. It didn’t seem as though the staff communicated with one another, as we had to explain our parking situation each day and each shift. They didn’t have parking available to us either.

The staff was outstanding. Kevin, the Doorman, helped us several times finding quicker and often less expensive rides to monuments and museums. The room attendents did a great job and kept the room clean. The kitchen staff did wonders from removing dirty dishes to making omelets (loved to watch the cook flip them eggs) to replentishing the food bars. All was very well done.

Hotel was overall nice, but the front desk staff are truly poor. Digital keys stopped working after about 12 hours, and was told it was bc I didn’t check in at the front desk. Exactly what Hilton is pushing for with digital keys is to not have to go to the front desk. A lot of apologies, and I don’t knows. Doors had to be manually reset by engineering, who had no explanation except to see the front desk. Only saving grace was a manager who understood the issue and issued us a credit and some points for the truly poor experience. Hilton really needs to better vet front desk staff for people with better communication and empathy. 3 trips to the front desk bc locks on 2 rooms not working and basically being told it was my fault for using digital check in and not the front desk. Poor look Hilton.

My wife and I had reservations for Thursday 4-18-24 to Sunday 4-21-24. When we arrived we were told we did not have a room. There was a leaking problem and we would need to drag our luggage down the street to stay at another hotel. We could then come the next morning, drag our bags back to Embassy Suites to stay the final two days of our reservation. We would not have to pay for Thursday night room or parking. We were to just hand an envelope to the clerk and all would be taken care of. Well at check in we had to wait 20-30 minutes to have this confirmed. The next morning we arrived back at Embassy Suites only to be told we needed to wait until 2:00PM to see if we were going to get a room. This was all very frustrating. If it was not for KEVIN, in the hotel lobby we would have wasted the entire day! I explained our situation and he went on to find a solution and we had a room in 20 minutes after talking to him. He saved our visit to Washington. The service he provided was absolutely excellent! The rest of the Embassy Suites performance was dismal. I would hope that KEVIN would receive some sort of compensation and recognition for the service he provided us.

Check in staff was friendly and efficient. However, on our last day, we came back at 9pm to find our room not cleaned. Went to front desk to ask for towels. Told they would be sent up to the room. Asked again at 10 and finally received them. At check out (6am) the next day, I was telling the women at front desk. She become belligerent and disrespectful, screaming at us. Then refused to give us her name. Also when staying at this hotel be aware of destination fee that may be added.

Embassy Suites is easy in and out, comfortable bed, quiet (I asked for a quiet room and the front desk delivered!). In a great area of NW DC between Foggy Bottom and Georgetown. It's a huge facility with rooms facing both inside the facility and outside (Window facing out from the bedroom of the King suite. Didn't eat there but snacks and water were readily available. Nothing fancy but good value. If you want small, quaint and high end, this isn't it but does the job for the basics. I felt very safe!

We were very disappointed at the restaurant. We were very tired after a long day of walking, so we just decided to eat dinner at what they call “restaurant””.which is just at the hallway.” We waited for 2 hours for our food. We complained after 1 hour of waititng because we have 8 years old and a 4 year old in our family. We even said even just for the kids so they can go sleep and still yhey did not bring our food until after 2 hours. When our food came they were already cold. We talked to the manager and did not say a thing. Instead they gave us 2 budweiser which we did not even drink. Left it on the table. Then, when our bill came they already included the tip coz there were 7 of us. We expected for them not to put the tip because of bad service and no discount at all. We paid what they ask because that is the right thing to do but I wish they should have not included the tip in our bill. So disappointting.

Everything was wonderful, the staff, the cleanliness, the convenient location. But the morning breakfast was slim pickings and the line for omelets was very long. The other food items were room temperature, not very hot. There were no forks either. The breakfast area was clean but the food items needed to be replenished and we were there for at least 30 minutes, and nothing was replenished.

Please add more breakfast item. Please add another protein such as turkey sausage. Please provide heat to the food as it sit in the covered dish, food is cold, luke warm. Waffles hard. Just correct the food issue. Im sure that would boost your stars. Overall good location. Had a good vibe this past weekend.
