My family really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Everyone was so nice and very helpful. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. Johnny Rockets breakfast was perfect before we set off in the morning. We felt safe, the hotel is local to everything and we loved the rooftop pool. We just moved our son into a University nearby and we will definitely stay here again soon!

Overall, I had a good experience and would reco this hotel -check-in : easy check in, I arrived early from a long flight and staff was very kind to help checking me in the room right away. -lobby : plenty of seatings, self-service snack shop (need room key to access), complimentary coffee & tea available 24 hours, there is Johnny Rockets restaurant next to the lobby -room : very spacious, clean, comfy king sized bed and my room came with a sofa -breakfast : my room came with bf buffet which served in the Johnny Rockets. Foods were adequate for me. There were several hot dishes, bakeries & pastries, fruits, yogurt, milk, but OJ not included. -facilities : there is a gym but very small, pool was closed during my visit -location : just one block down to the 14th street and there are lots of dining options, about 15 min walks to The White House and another 10-15 min to Washington Memorial and all the museums. I like and enjoy walking, so no problem for me. Hope this review is helpful.

The parking area is not the best part of our stay. We were lost in looking the parking garage. They should have put a signage of where the parking is going. We spent 40 minutes to 1 hour just to look for their parking area.

The property is convenient location to visit National Mall, White House and any other tourist attractions. Whole Foods are within the walking distance. Free laundry (2 wash machines and 2 driers) are located at 9th floor.

Property was clean and staff was great. Parking fee slightly high, but that’s to be expected for the city. Rooftop pool was great and staffed with a lifeguard. Dining options were close by and walkable. White House was about a 15-20min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the pool and dining. The staff was nice. The parking was terrible, I would never bring a car there again. The spaces are super tiny with too many cars and no where to turn around. Took us several people to help try to get in and out of a space- plus you pay 50 dollars for this parking that is so hard to get in and out.

Everything was going ok until I was munched on by bed bugs in the middle of the night. The staff gave us a new room but they were not very helpful in offering any services to help us not take the bugs home with us. No laundry no bags nothing. We did not have time to stop and speak with management that morning so I have emailed and hopefully they will do the right thing and exterminate and offer people laundry services etc in the future. That’ll help try to stop the spread to homes. I had to really research what to do and now I’ll do more at check in before I get in bed. The hotel itself overall appeared clean. There are some aged areas. The refrigerator in the original room had a bad odor. But it was a nice room besides the bed bugs. The elevators worked quickly and the parking garage is very tight which is common in Washington DC. Parking is charged Daily. Johnny Rockets staff were very nice and the food was decent and priced pretty decent for the area. I would have given a higher score if there weren’t bed bugs and if they’d offered more help to us.

Very noisy at night! Wreaked of marijuana in the hall, elevator and outside. The cost of the room was astronomical and the place is so run down! No fan in the bathroom. Mold in the caulking around the tub. Toenail clippings on the carpet that the cleaning folks missed. I say, no way!

The best thing about this hotel its location. The room was ok, spacious enough. But what I really didn’t like it’s a bathroom. Not only it was very small, but it’s in a big need of renovation. Everything is outdated, the shower is leaking, the bathtub is all yellow and scratched , walls, floors, everything is in a bad condition. For this reason I wouldn’t probably stay here again.

Broken shelf in shower, slow sink drain (bathroom), slow trickle onto counter for “kitchenette sink, blood or poop stains on shower curtain (suspect latter due to proximity to toilet), dingy stained linens, paper scraps from previous occupant on carpet, broken casing on air conditioner unit, poor heat/ac control, parking beneath hotel is difficult and costs 50+/night. Pool was ok, but full of floating dead black flies. I visited a nearby hotel for breakfast and wished I had spent 10 dollars more a night to stay at it. It exuded charm when the Holiday Inn did not. A week out, I haven’t contracted a disease, but felt like that was a possibility. It’s not the worst place I’ve stayed, but it was close.

Our stay was very nice. The room were spacious and well kept. We had free HBO and coffee which was very nice. The only issue we had was the doors to the rooms would slam shut, which woke us up at night. Our shower drain was clogged as well, but I was able to clear the issue myself by removing the hair that was preventing the water to drain.

Very thin walls as expected, but I didn’t expect to hear the other rooms microwave. Also, if your neighbor slams the door, the entire room shakes. Ask for a room, 7th floor or above to avoid noise from the street.

A warm welcome from the front desk. Always a smile and helpful. Rooms large, comfortable if not a little worn and dated - bathrooms especially. When I was there they were refurbishing the building and I was warned on arrival about some possible noise - there was none. Bed comfy and rooms quiet mostly. Location very good with most sites walkable.

Stayed here for a quick birthday trip and I gotta say I loved this place. The hotel was very clean and the rooms somewhat spacious. I had to work on Friday and the wifi did not let me down, it worked fast and it was reliable throughout the day. The Johny rockets restaurant in the lobby is very convenient and the food is great. This hotel is also very centrally located, giving you quick access to major tourist attractions. I did not have a chance to check out the pool or the gym but I’m sure it was also great! The staff was also very friendly and willing to assist. Highly recommend this place for your stay in DC. Will definitely come back :)

Property was nice, in a great location. The pool area was nice along with the fact they have a Johnny Rockets in the lobby. One reason I gave a four star review was because we requested more towels and soap and had to call a few times to have them delivered.

M Front desk woman was very nice, helpful and I don't blame her or thin k it was her fault BUT when I checked in I was given a key to a room that was already occupied?! I felt horrible to frighten the couple already in the room in bed watching TV. The situation was quickly remedied but I've never heard or experienced this type of oversight (computer system glitch?)

There were delays checking in due to the IT system having problems. The receptionist, Gail, was clearly trying to cover for a manager who would not answer the phone, but her charm and helpfulness prevented a lower score.

Staff were friendly. Communication is where our problems stand. It is impossible to get in touch with the property via phone. ***Be sure that everything is taken care of before you leave the property. Alley way to the parking garage causes anxiety. Large flies in the hotel room. This hotel doesn’t offer Netflix or Hulu or any streaming services which is a bummer. Other than this, the stay was decent. We felt safe. No other complaints.

Safe area - close enough to walk to museums and White House but had a neighborhood feel- staff was extremely nice and helpful - room and common areas very clean - we easily used Uber as it was very hot during our visit. P St is just a block up near Logan Circle with many restaurants and a Whole Foods Market. Would definitely stay again.

Overall we had a wonderful stay, but the only complain was the breakfast, was included as part of the room fee, but was terrible, first day all containers were empty, just toasts, nothing that we could eat, did not use most of the breakfast vouchers, but we paid for breakfast. Good thing there are convenient supermarket and small store. The hotel is near to the monuments, restaurants that you can walk to get there.

This hotel was clean. Good location. Room was cleaned daily. Poor TV set up. You would enter a number and get a totally different station. Also parking was bad. Very narrow alley to enter underground parking. Very tiny spaces to park. Hotel also ran out of spaces one night. Food was not the greatest. Had breakfast, eggs had no taste, sausages were as hard a a rock.

The hotel is in a great location...walking distance to dozens of great restaurants and bars. The White House is about a 15-20 minute walk. The rooms are very nice with a comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower and an easy-to-use thermostat. The service at the front desk was decent but not very friendly. The hotel breakfast was an absolute disgrace. DO NOT BUY THE BREAKFAST! It is located in the adjoining Johnny Rockets restaurant and it is awful. There are a few cold items, cereals, etc. and six hot food items. The first morning we went down to the breakfast, we had to wait constantly for the hot items to be replaced. It seemed like there was never more than 1-2 items that had any food in them and those ended up being room temperature. The second day was so bad that we left after ten minutes of waiting for anything to be replaced. The final day we went for breakfast to a nice French bakery at a neighboring hotel. Honestly, it was a huge waste of money ($21 per day for two people). If you are looking for a budget hotel in a great location, this isn't a bad option but skip the breakfast.

The beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Our room faced the Main Street, so sirens and other noise was loud. The service at Johnny Rockets was abysmal. We had a much better breakfast at Call Your Mother up the street.

Hotel is clean and conveniently located to my needs. Staff is friendly and professional. Bed and pillows are comfortable but the chair and sofa, not so much and had some stains. By myself do I did not need to sit there. Biggest miss was the breakfast at the in hotel restaurant-Johnny Rockets. Eggs tasted like powdered and toast only toasted on one side. Had to ask hotel staff to get a server to come out. So hotel is great, but I’ll get breakfast somewhere else next time.
